Hotel De Rustende Jager

The hotel is beautiful. The architect did a great job designing the lobby, the restaurant, and the bar. The hotel is located on the main street in a cosy quiet new picturesque and very green town. I had a large room with a very well-equipped kitchen (with a real large refrigerator), a big bathroom with a shower cabin and a tub, with the view on the avenue. The room was very clean: the freezer of the fridge was clean of ice; - congratulations for being attentive to details! If the guest has problems climbing stairs, do inform the reception so that you get a room accessible by elevator. The location is excellent, not far from Keukenhof,(the highlight of the Netherlands in spring), from the airport and from the Hague, Delft and Dordrecht (by car), the most attractive places when it comes to visit Holland. Breakfast was excellent, with a good choice of dishes, a variety of fresh bread, cold cuts, omelettes, fresh juice. A very good quality coffee is made by a high tech machine, keeping all the aroma in the cup. If you come by car, the hotel has a large private parking just in front of the entrance.

Staying at the hotel was a pleasant experience. There is nothing to be unhappy with. The reason I could not mark "10" on the rating is related to, among others: The lighting in the bathroom is not bright enough, and the room's interior design... not special... all in all, I would choose to come back anytime!

Property is well maintained with helpful staff. Check-in was smooth, staff was courteous and explained everything in detail. Staff also guided us properly on public travel mode, visiting attractions, etc. Bar is also well stocked with good beer and wine availability and very cordial servers. Hotel is located in a very good surrounding with a mall and a superstore nearby.

It is a little far from the train station so you have to walk a bit. That is the only critical point I can think of as everything else was pretty good. Still it is not a major issue and you can book this property without any apprehensions.

I've stayed at this hotel a number of times and love the location. Quiet, great free parking and you can walk everywhere, plenty of great restaurants nearby.

Having stayed at this location a number of times I was surprised about how rigid personnel was about having to wait till check in time for 3 pm even though the room was ready. We ended up having to stay in the lobby area for an hour just because of some rule... I understand it on the one hand but would have expected a bit of leniency for someone who has stayed there some 10 times before or even more over the past few years. Not the most service oriented. Also, we had emailed asking about a shuttle to the airport and were told that the shuttle was booked even though we hadn't even said what time we needed the shuttle so how could that be?

The hotel is located in a very peaceful location, with lots of restaurants nearby, including the hotel's restaurant. The breakfast was decent, with a good variety of things to choose from. The staff were also very friendly.

It was very hot in the room, even with the fan on. The door of the room was very difficult to open from the inside. The parking is open air, which wasn't ideal for me (parking with a car full of stock and displays for a festival).

I highly rate this hotel! The staff were nice, helpful and friendly. The food at the restaurant was exceptional. The rooms were clean and comfortable. And all within 30mins of a train ride and walk from Schiphol! They seemed to have dealt with some people complaining about the heat of the rooms with AC. I highly recommend it!

Staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. I needed assistance with a few things and they went out of their way. I attended Castlefest at Kuekenhof and this is the PERFECT location as the shuttle bus comes to the town. I was delighted with this. The room was extremely clean and very spacious. I managed to score a giant king size bed and bathtub. I was in heaven. Very happy with how well this turned out.

Very clean, comfortable and beautiful hotel

I would suggest you to renew photos in Booking, because now room is looking more modern than at booking photos. And please update information about check in, as fas as I understand, now You have a 24h person at reception and it's a very big advantage for your hotel!

The hotel was such a suprise! It is a full service to say the least. We had a great stay.

The only 2 things i could suggest are...1 the ceiling light covers should be cleaned because they are full of flies. 2 There is a tile lip between the room and bathroom which is really dangerous. I tripped over it and hurt my foot. Either put some lights or place a rounded lip instead!

The rooms are quite large and they seem to have a good catering department and some good restaurants around them. Breakfast had some good selection but you’ll have to ask for fried eggs etc.

We stayed there when they still experienced a shortage of staff. But since it was low season they could stil manage.

The staff were excellent very attentive and helpful. We stayed in a family room which had a double bed and two single beds. Which was very comfortable and plenty of room.
