KABOOM Maastricht

The hotel is very conveniently located close to the train station. It is also very close to a parking garage for bicycles so we did not need to leave our bikes out in the street for the night. The room was on the small side, but the bed was great - very comfy.

The breakfast room is very busy in the morning, you have to opt for a time slot the evening before but it is still very busy - be prepared to share your table with strangers. Also the breakfast room seems to be a bit understaffed as tables sit for a long while before being cleaned despite the number of people looking for a place to sit. It is also separate from the hotel, so you have to walk out on the street to get to it. Quality of the breakfast buffet is ok, but not much more than that.

The staff was amazing. Very friendly. For travellers using public transport, like me, coming by flixbus or train, the location is perfect - it's right in front of the station. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby. It is pleasant to walk around the hotel. The room was very well cleaned.

192 Euros for 01 night did not seem fair to me for this hotel. I understand the hotel's concept of saving, but the quality of the bath towels were terrible and there were no extra pillows in the room, only 1 pillow on each bed. The heater is very noisy during the night, and there was no extra blanket in the room either... Room too simple for the price. You can book 4 or 5 star hotels for the same price....

It was unforgettable! Day of the King of the Netherlands! Beautiful and funny friendly people! Spacious, new, clean and super comfortable room overlooking the beautiful train station! The room has everything you need, especially the interior. Soft and comfortable bed with snow-white linen. The bathroom has gel, shampoo. The towels are white and fluffy. Very nice receptionist Judithe wished us a good night! Hope to come back again!Dank je wel!

Location is excellent, friendly staff, comfortable bed. Interior is quite new and comfortable. Everything was nice and clean :) I also think acoustic was quite good, we didn’t hear any noise.

Our room was a bit too small, but we were there only for one night, so that was not a problem for us. If you are planning to stay a few more days or if you have a big suitcase, better to choose a bigger room. Again, for us was not a problem, but depending on the situation can be inconvenient. I also missed to have a coffee machine or a kettle in the room.

Kaboom is great value for your dollar. You get a room with a private bathroom. The hotel is located right across from the train station. If you come in by car then there is a parking lot a short 3 minute walk from the hotel. There are lots of restaurants near by. Fast wifi and convenient check in and check out. You can even store your bags there for a few hours after check out. We experienced excellent customer service.

Just be aware that the rooms are tiny. Also, there is only a sliding door between the bedroom and the bathroom.

Firstly, the hotel is directly very quirky in a nice way and located in front of the train station so couldn't be better placed for arrival / departure. admittance to the upper floors is by key card only, for both lift and stairs so very secure. room / bed was very very comfortable and the pristinely clean. great location for the city also, we were attending the Andre Rieu concert and was a pleasant 20min walk to the vrijthof. the staff were amazingly friendly and helpful, No bar but there is a large cooler at reception with every drink you could want, lastly you need to try the kebab stand between the hotel and the train station, best kebabs in the entire world and open until 2:00am. I would have absloutely no hesitation in staying there again if we ever return to maastricht.

absolutely nothing to do with the hotel but there seems to be a severe lack of taxis available in maastricht, although our trip was during the july concerts! but still couldn't get one after 3:00am so ended walking back from a late bar and got lost!! just saw a bit more of maastricht at night than we planned. no great issue however.

A great location for walking around Maastricht. Our room was very good and, as cyclists, it was great that we could put our bikes in our room. The staff were all really helpful too.

We were in Maastricht for the Amstel Gold cycling sportive which started at 6.30am in Valkenberg. It was a shame that we couldn't get breakfast before this but we would have needed it at 5.30am so maybe that's a bit harsh. We did get some coffees from the reception staff though which was great.

The hotel is in a great location just across the street from the train station making it very to get to the hotel and begin enjoying exploring the city on foot. The room was clean and comfortable with everything we expected. The real high point of the hotel was the front desk staff who went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The outside private seating area was a very relaxing place to enjoy a glass of wine after a day of trekking around the city.

For a small hotel it had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. Breakfast was available for a charge in an adjacent building, it would have been nice to have a small complimentary breakfast available as well.

Excellent location just across the main train station. Just a 10’ walk to the city centre. Very comfortable beds and very very clean room.

- The room curtains could be thicker so that no sunlight comes inside in the morning. I had to use my night mask to keep away the light from my eyes. - The soundproof could be better. A child from a neighbor room was up from 06:30 in the morning and he was making a lot of noise and woke us up. That was not the hotel’s problem but more of the irresponsibility of some parents who do not respect other hotel guests and they let their children behave as if they are in a playground!

very good place to stay different days in Maastricht. right in front of the station (perfect if you arrive/depart early late in the day). in 20 min walking you are in the middle of Maastricht with a very beautiful stroll. i surely will book again here

some can be revised: the hair dryer was not working (after 2 min of working it block without any reason, maybe bad luck of my room) and the air conditioner was too loud by night. breakfast overpriced for what they offer. spare your money and go somewhere else for that.
