Beautiful hotel, comfortable and gigantic room/bed, very nice staff and impressive bathroom! Perfectly located in the heart of the city, we spent a very nice weekend.

The breakfast offered by the café next door was unfortunately very poor quality (especially for 14,50 euros per person). The fresh products looked just out of a supermarket, and did not taste good. The single pancake I ordered did not look like a pancake (flat, dry...). We were disappointed. So, the hotel was great, but I would strongly advise to get your breakfast in another café nearby (this is what we did afterwards).

Beautiful spacious room and very quiet [excellent job of sound-proofing]. Staff extremely helpful and fantastic central location. Highly recommend and great value for money. Adjoining Fire Cafe has great service and food.

Due to the location on a pedestrian only street, you must park at an underground garage a few minutes away. This creates a challenge when you have large suitcases [we were on a three week trip] and you can't unload at the hotel. Please be advised this hotel has no elevator, so if you have mobility issues the stairs are quite steep due to the age of the building.

Beautiful large room with design furniture, a coffee machine, spacious bathroom and a wide comfortable bed. Friendly staff at reception and breakfast in the neighbouring Grand Café Fire. Hearty and abundant breakfast with many options. We had a wonderful stay!

We had a frontroom that overlooked a street that probably is noisy at times - after all, the hotel is right in the historic centre. For this reason, the room had double windows that cannot be opened. As mentioned in other comments: the rooms are only accessible by stairs, that by all means are very easy to negotiate.

We absolutely loved our room en enjoyed our stay so much. The room we stayed in was massive, which we didn’t expect. The cafe next door was really nice as well. We enjoyed a nice dinner there and could walk back up to our room from there. Also, the location is right in the middle of city centre. Perfect!

The rooms are spacious and comfortable, location is very central, the hotel is located in a beautiful building.

There is no lift, there is no reception at the hotel but in the cafe/ restaurant next door, some members of staff seem to be misinformed about the facilities.

The room was very comfortable. We were not on the street side so it was very quiet. Breakfast was excellent, fresh and plenty of choices. The hotel is right in the city centre and overnight parking is nearby at a very reasonable rate.

The only thing I would recommend is to take the Rituals diffuser out of the bathroom. It was not necessarily an unpleasant smell, but it was very strong.

Beautiful old house adapted sympathetically. Facilities were excellent and the bed really comfortable. Liked the proximity to the cafe for breakfast and meals. Staff friendly and efficient.

the bathroom door could have been more private. it freaked us out a little bit, but it certainly didn’t spoil our trip.

Great location, friendly staff and a wonderful breakfast. This was the second time we have stayed here. We will definitely stay here again.

All round perfect place to stay in Leeuwarden, in the city center. Clean and spacious room. The staff is friendly and helpful. Made to order breakfast was very good.
