The staff were very kind and accommodating. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. Conveniently located by ferry and it was nice that they offered free ferry tickets.

The WiFi was not strong at all and made it difficult to take work calls or zooms. The counter top in the bathroom came out too far over the sinks so it was hard to shave or wash your face. The TVs should be mounted on the wall. They take up too much space on the floor in the room.

Very friendly, welcoming staff at the reception. The check-in couldn't have been easier and faster, in spite of the fact that by accident our booking was for one person instead of two. We were also offered a complementary aperitif at the bar which was a very nice gesture. The room was spacious, comfortable; at night it was very quiet. The breakfast was excellent.

Lovely room and bathroom. Well located for town centre. Free parking for our car. Delicious food. Friendly and helpful staff.

For us, we would prefer a buffet breakfast, although everything we wanted was available upon demand. Also perhaps waiters should make it clear that the glass of champagne offered when arriving in the restaurant for the evening meal is not in fact complimentary and will cost €14 each!!

Fantastic hotel, great location for short walk into town. Car parking. Breakfast was really nice with plenty of choice. Restaurant food was also very nice. Room was clean, comfortable and well equipped. The hotel staff were excellent, really helpful and courteous. I am a regular traveller for work across Europe and this hotel and staff are the best I have witnessed.

Everything was great. The price was fair, plus there was free parking. To get to the center, one takes a 5 min ferry ride that is right next to the hotel. The service personel were all friendly and helpful. Coffee maker is in the room.

The breakfast is probably good, but we chose not to eat it at the hotel because it is too expensive. It would be good if a cheaper continental breakfast was also offered.

We arrived early afternoon and enjoyed a drink at the terrace facing the water whilst waiting for the room to be available. The staff was very welcoming and helpful, going the extra mile to help out and that made the stay very special. We really appreciated the welcoming drinks, nibbles and chocolates, the little goody bag on departure and the attentive reception staff. The hotel is in a great location facing the river and the city of Deventer, there is a parking free of charge at the back and the little ferry to go into town is right by the hotel as well. (1.6 euros p.p. return trip) The room was comfortable, clean, with tea/coffee maker. The bathroom spotless with a good shower. We ordered the 3-course meal which was delivered to the room course by course, it was very tasty and good quality food. The breakfast is to be chosen the day before and delivered at the time of choice. Again, excellent quality and variety, we thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff is friendly, courteous and attentive. They attempt to meet all the needs of their guests. The food is exceptional! Excellent quality, well presented and very satisfying. The outdoor terrace is lovely in the summertime and the dining room in winter Is warm and inviting.

I believe the hotel require more staff. It is understandable they are short staffed during these economic and post pandemic times.

The location is glorious - right on the river. Quiet because it is away from the town but accessible enough because it is just across the river (with a small ferry). The rooms are luxurious. The breakfast is very stylishly served to order on the terrace, and the meals are delicious as well.

Parking - the hotel has shared parking behind it which is always full. There is lots of parking around it, but on open ground which might be muddy if it's raining.

good hotel but connecting room entrance area light have no switch to turn off so we had to sleep with the light on. Find dinning pigeon meat had a odd smell and taste but rest of courses were good. There is no signs of wash cloth in the rooms which is odd.

Great location, terasse with a view over the river and Deventer! Good restaurant, friendly staff and exellent breakfast. Nice walk to Ossenwaard natural reserve next to the Hotel. Fast ferry to Deventer city centre is perfect.
