Hotel Old Dutch Bergen op Zoom

This if very much a privately run hotel and because of that it felt welcoming and cozy. The room was on the small side but the bed was comfy and breakfast good. Free tea and coffee was available from the breakfast room. There is a nice (quiet) pub just along. They also have safe storage for the bikes. Despite it being close to the train station, it was very quiet

There was an extra charge to allow for the current energy hike. Although communicated beforehand, it felt a little bewildering.

This is a very nice and well maintained hotel, with very kind owners. The communication with them was excellent. They made an effort to ensure we had a nice stay and sleep when using the sofa bad, something we were grateful about. It was quiet in the hotel at night. No noise from the train station. Parking was easily organised for us. The breakfast was very good with enough food and regularly added products if something was missing. I can only recommend it.

Though a bit on the expensive side for a night, the Hotel has good standards. Its right opposite the Tram Station. The room was small but it was well decked up with comfortable beds and other basic amenities. A few mins into the room with the curtains drawn it didn't feel small at all. We booked with breakfast which was a standard affair but felt a bit special unlike other places I had stayed with similar breakfast menu. I will book again in future if I come to Bergen Op Zoom

Nothing I could think of as we stayed only for a single night

The breakfast is good, but the same for two days in a row, if you stay at the hotel for 4-5 days, then every day there is the same thing - it's hard. I really liked the service of the staff (attentive, polite people).

It would be nice if the mattresses were replaced (they moved around the bed all the time), the carpet was removed, the room was painted

It was a very simple small hotel, close to the centre, with everything you need for a one night stay. Our room was well equipped for a family of three, and in the morning we enjoyed a simple but tasty breakfast. If you are not expecting business class luxury hotel, you will be satisfied.

The only complaint I would make was that the dustbin in the bathroom had not been emptied prior to our arrival and it was a rather unpleasant surprise. Otherwise, all was fine.

Friendly small hotel with a nice atmosphere. Clean rooms. Decent breakfast. Coffee and tea freely available in the lobby. Quiet, although close to the station and a leisurely 10 minute walk to the city centre. We used the parking garage of the hotel (10 euros per night) and were satisfied with it.

Mattresses could be somewhat harder.

This was a perfect hotel for a single person. I loved my room with the window I could open for fresh air. Crisp, white linen, immaculate bathroom and enough for breakfast even for a vegan. Thank you so much.

The host was a delightful and good humored man. The location is right next to the station so there is no need to lug your belongings all over the city (I found this very convenient). Breakfast provided free of charge every morning too which was an unexpected treat!

Stayed here before so I knew what to expect. Good size bed and nice breakfast included in the price. Staff is friendly and helpful and the location (close to the railway station) is great.

Bed, breakfast and a feeling that you are welcome - what's not to like?

Fantastic location with secure parking, nearby public transport and walking distance to the beautiful city centre. Friendly, helpful staff and a lovely breakfast.

Typical Dutch stairs up to the rooms - fine for us but note if you have mobility challenges or large baggage.
