November 2023

We travelled primarily to watch Ajax v. Brighton in the Europa League. We had stayed at the hotel on a previous trip to Amsterdam in February and knew it was a great little hotel in a good location. We booked 4 rooms, two of which were next to each other as we'd requested. All four rooms were comfy and clean. The location is a short tram or metro trip into the city centre and quick and easy to reach from the airport. Would definitely stay again - thank you!

The only down side was that the rooms were a little noisy at night with the windows open and the room on the first floor was smaller than those on the second and third floors.

Room was a good size for 2 people, it was super clean! Breakfast is outstanding, if you book with them, you MUST add breakfast, it was super fresh and tasty! It was a great stay. It's located in the middle of everything, and yet not on any of the noisy parts of the city, and walkable to main attractions(10-20 minute walk to all of the main touristy interests) I also left my jacket there and completely forgot about it for a week or so, but then when I remembered about it and gave them a call they still had it and gladly gave it to my friend when he stopped by, they were even willing to send it to me, that's super nice of them to do so!

October 2023

I had a great room, with a balcony and the hotel is in a quiet neighbourhood. The bed is super comfortable, the balcony is quite big, with table and chairs, the room is really well designed to maximize the space. There is everything needed in the room - toiletries, coffee, tea. English channels on TV. Plug for phone next to the bed. Blackout curtains that actually close. Location is great, 10 min walk from the subway, you could walk from the central train station, maybe 40 min.

The balcony didn't have much separation from the other rooms, so we had to make friends with the neighbours. I had another room booked, for 2 people, and it wasn't as it was listed, it was a small long room with just 2 beds, however, I didn't see it. We booked 2 rooms for 3 people, and had to pay extra for one more breakfast, but didn't have any, as we were leaving 30 min before breakfast time and no other options were available. We could've just not paid the extra, as we didn't use this service at all, plus I thought it was included in the price. This left a bad feeling. Overall reception service was not great, people were a bit arogant and not interested in helping.

Lovely staff, room was not an attic room - pleasant to be in, small but the large window and regular height ceiling ensured it didnt feel claustrophobic. Comfy bed, nice shower. Had kettle and coffee machine - a rarity in Amsterdam it seems! I brought earplugs but did not need them. Had good aircon. Very close to tram stop, easy to get to centre. Grocery on the road.

Room was nice but dusty when I arrived (wiped down the towel rail and kettle top and removed a literal layer of dust from both). Other than that reasonably clean. Small, as they all are. Moved table to one side so I could sit next to window, then unable to plug either kettle or coffee machine without moving them to next to the bed. View was just a general street view, not particularly pretty. None of this was dreadful (although I am a view person!) since I was there for a few days, and hardly spent any time in the room as there was so much to explore. Besides the dust and space, the room was comfortable and very pleasant, decor not too dark or dated.

Very close to public transport. Staff very helpful - offered us a choice of rooms as elevator wasn’t working. Room and attention to detail were perfect. Bed very comfortable and view out of balcony was gorgeous. Lots to do nearby.

Problem with cold water not working in sink and shower. Notified the staff and they fixed the sink however shower was still boiling so we were unable to shower.

It was close to everything and there was a lift. Three of the team were exceptional in how they interacted with us, Sander, Jackie and the wonderful Claudia, they were very helpful always ready with a smile. we couldn’t say the same about the rest of the team.

it is what it it is in Amsterdam but the room was very tiny, we booked single beds but got a double which they couldn’t/wouldn’t change. we were two friends travelling not partners. the fix two single doona’s.

The room with a balcony and two twin beds placed together to make a large bed was really great. It's Europe and rooms are small, so we were expecting a smaller room. This one was small but very comfortable. The balcony was an added bonus. I recommend paying a little extra for the balcony. The shower and bathroom were spacious which was a surprise and renovated. Good shower. The floor was not levelled which we learned is very common in Amsterdam as the buildings are built on pillars. This caused a weird motion sickness feeling but we got used to it.

The room smelled like mothballs. We assume it was the cleaning products, so it was not a bad thing, but the cleaning products have a strong smell. We would air out the room a bit. There is no mini fridge which was inconvenient for keeping water cold and snacks as needed while travelling. Bike rental available but expensive. It would be nice to have free bicycle rental like other hotels in Amsterdam.

The hotel is very modern and clean. Lift avaliable to all floors. We requested a balcony room and it was lovely having that feature. Free WiFi. The room was very clean! Bathroom was clean with shower gel provided. Lots of wardrobe space and bed was very comfy. The area the hotel is in is alot quieter than the centre however we really enjoyed visiting all the smaller coffeeshops and bars. Albert cuyp Market is around the corner too.

It's a 30 minute walk into Amsterdam Central. There is a tram available and the walk isn't too bad if you have dry weather. Other than the location being a bit far from the centre the hotel is brilliant. I would definitely stay again when we return in the summer

The room was perfect. I could make a coffee and sit on the balcony in the morning which i was thrilled about. The beds were so comfortable and the location was fantastic. We didn't want to take public transport so walking around the city and back to our hotel was so lovely and romantic. This hotel made our trip. Super thrilled.

Nothing, the whole trip was perfect.
