Hotel Maria del Carmen

the staff were so welcoming and friendly. we extended our stay to a whole month and we got to know many of the lovely workers. the housekeepers went above and beyond every day. the cocktails are always perfect. location is fantastic. the room was a good size and beds were comfortable. we felt safe and at home throughout our time. pool is great for kids as there is a shallow side with dividing wall. i recommend for others with kids. the dinner menu is affordable and tasty.

not every day but maybe 40% of the time we found if you go for breakfast in the restaurant in the morning you can sometimes wait for over 45 minutes so it can get frustrating if you had plans to get on with your day.

Room did have a safe and an iron board with an iron.

Room was next to the elevator and the walls where so thin, you can hear each time the elevator was used and whenever would pass by. Also there was a fake window, no view, plain wall would have been better. The shower door did not close fully causing a lot of water to spill-out creating a big mess.

I loved how nice the staff were everyone was so helpful, and being able to book tours at the hotel was very helpful

The WIFI was terrible, the only reason I left the hotel for another hotel was the WIFI would not stay connected and I wasnt able to work from the hotel room as planned

The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and not pre-packaged, I loved being able to order what I wanted, not a buffet. The pool was great.

There could have been better lighting in the bathroom, but no big deal. Wash clothes and hand towels would have been nice, they only had towels.

Price, breakfast included, was clean

Room was nice and big and the shower had great water pressure, we also loved the pool. People at the reception were extremely nice and the breakfast was also good. Another big plus for us was the big parking lot from the hotel.

Nothing, really. We were quite happy with our choice to stay here.

the sound of machinery was noisy in my room. the window didn’t open and there was no ventilation. I found the air conditioning very cold

The place is very clean, good menu, the food was good and the staff was very kind

The rooms are a little bit old and they don't have a mini bar so you can put some things or cold your drinks

Great quality-price, it is well located. You get what you pay.

The portion of the breakfast included with the reservation is small which gives a cheap impression. they could either adjust the price or ask clients to pay the difference to get a better quality breakfast.
