Hotel La Venta Inn Villahermosa

We picked this hotel because of its proximity to the Parque, Museum and Zoo to see the Olmec art from sites around the area. Unfortunately, the Parque was closed for the month of February which was not mentioned on the internet. We enjoyed the on site restaurant as well. Our room was comfortable and quiet.

Our only concern was that none of the reception employees spoke any English. When we called from Tlacotalpan about our reservation that we needed to modify, receptionists who answered the phone when I asked if it was possible to speak English simply said "No" and hung up on me.

Breakfast was very good, even if it was slightly sparse. Location was absolutely unbeatable. Infrastructure is phenomenal. The rooms were so spacious and the desk was so good, with multiple power outlets and I was able to charge my phone everywhere. Shower had amazing

I hate that Booking.com asks this question because to be quite honest I just have to keep writing words until the box is completely full and I have absolutely zero complaints about this specific hotel, it was absolutely fantastic.

The hotel was fine, with easy parking and nice rooms. Breakfast was great! And so was the main restaurant at night. The location doesn't lend itself to wandering too far to find other places to eat, so this was a bonus. There wasn't any noise from traffic despite being on a busy road. (I'm a light sleeper, so it would have woken me). We'd stay here again if we visited the city.

Location is subjective. Being on a busy road doesn't allow for much wandering about at night. But for a quick visit and departure, the location is good.

Really impressed - a great stopover if you're making your way through Tabasco to Yucatan. Well appointed gym. Hot breakfast a good plus. Great value. We had a bunch of gear and the front staff were offering help, holding doors etc. Felt downright fancy to some of the places we have stayed.

Tricky to get to if you're on the wrong side of the highway. We wanted to walk for supper and you might feel a little stranded.

A very nice hotel in Villahermosa. Large modern bedroom, very clean. Receptionist speaks quite good English, which is helpful. An amazing breakfast; various choices of hot food, cereals, toast, lots of fruit, yoghurts, juices, tea, coffee etc. Main reason I stayed there was because the hotel is just across the road from the entrance to the fabulous famous La Venta Archaeological Park set in it's beautiful tropical forest. I may need to return to Villahermosa and if so I will definitely stay at La Venta Inn again. Recommended.

Everything was good, though in such a hot humid place as Villahermosa, it's always difficult to keep a bathroom smelling good, so I think some floral air freshener would help here.

The location of this hotel was perfect for the the main things I wanted to do in the area. It was immaculately clean, the staff were super helpful, and their inclusive breakfast was delicious. I had a lovely stay here and would definitely stay here again.

There was nothing to not like.

The staff was very accommodating, especially for short notice. We had to find this place on the fly ,as or previous hotel said our 40 lb dog was "too big". La Ventana staff was wonderful and fulfilled our needs with no issues. Rooms were nice, clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay there again.

Parking was tight. Good for small cars, but tight for a medium sized truck. However, very secure and gated at night.

we chose the Inn because it is located across the street from La Venta Park and the Olmec heads. it was clean and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast selection was very good.

the breakfast buffet was great and varied.

the bathroom’s toilet seemed like an industrial school fixture instead of a comfortable one.

Friendly caring stafff - parking on site ....we stayed in their sister Hotel in Ciudad del Carmen - also wonderful !
