Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach Golf & Spa Resort - All Inclusive

Monika-Front Desk, was excellent and did a wonderful job helping us twice during our stay. Daniel-Cart Driver, was so vivacious and fun!! He made us laugh and got us everywhere safely. Loura-Housekeeper, was outstanding! She made sure all was clean and that we had everything we needed. Edwin-Tech Support, was knowledgeable, personable, and persistent. He did a great job! Felix and Marco-Cibola Restaurant, were fantastic! They were kind, attentive, and made sure we were happy! Silverio-Le Bistro, was so gregarious and just a fabulous server. He always wore the greatest smile. His service was perfect! We had a great time!!

Blanca, a sales representative in the main lobby, approached us a total of 5 times. On our last morning, she continued to try to talk to us, even though we were unresponsive. Needless to say, it was annoying. We believe she may benefit from additional training.

The main thing was the fact that staying in Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach allows us to take the shuttle services to the other two sisters' resorts in the city with beach access. This allowed us to have a more varied vacation - one day we spent in sunset beach, with a great relaxed atmosphere and pools, and the next day we traveled to Rose hotel, mostly being on the beach and enjoying all-inclusive perks. Of course we could stay in Rose or Blanco hotel, but this way we felt that each day is different from the other one. Also sunset beach has the Market area with many small restaurants and nice vibe. it was great to be there. The whale-watching activity was amazing. You can book in the hotel for $60/adult and $40/kid, or in the marina for $40/person. We rather use the hotel service here.

All the marketing guys trying to join their time-sharing sales event. On our first day, we were approached by 5 different persons many times, saying this is only 90 min presentation saving us ~$400. in reality, it saves less, the cost of activities presented by them is much less on the beach, and the presentation is longer than 90 min + tour. We did not do it eventually, but it was a hassle to deal with all of these salespersons.

the resort itself is excellent - very large with lots of places to eat, 7 separate swimming pools and great facilities. the staff are all very friendly and very helpful. you can't swim in the actual beach due to strong currents but there's a shuttle bus to take you to the sister resort in Cab San Lucas where you can swim

the resort is too far out of town to walk and so you have to take a taxi or the once an hour shuttle to the sister resort. the shuttles only start from 11am which is a bit late, it would be much better if they started from say 9am. Internet sometimes dropped out and you have to re-login every day, which is a bit annoying

The all inclusive is defiantly worth the price including all meals and alcohol. The rooms and resort are very clean, they're taking extra precautions due to covid cases. Friendly and helpful staff. This was our second stay here.

The resort is on a beach you can't swim at. You can take a 15 minute shuttle to their sister resort the Rose where you stay the day and can swim and get massages on the beach.

Great views, spacious room, extremely polite and courteous staff. Multiple pools and options.

Room service often took too long- but the waiters very very courteous and polite. Limited vegetarian options- would expect more vegetarian options on the menu at a resort this size. Waiting for the buggy to move around the resort was a pain. Also the diesel exhaust from the buggies was often unpleasant and unhealthy.

Beautiful Property, amazing food at restaurants and Sunday buffet was incredible. The violinist they hired was awesome and played upbeat pop music. Waitstaff worked hard and very pleasant.

We received our keys to the room around 3:30pm. We hustled to our room so we could change real quick into our swim suits and went to the main pool on the beach. We went to get towels and they said they were out and to check back in 40 minutes - which we did and they still didn’t have any towels. We checked back again 30 minutes later and no towels. We had to walk back to our room dripping wet. The towel cards they give you state on them there is a $25 USD charge if you lose the card. Ironic since they can’t even provide a towel to you later in the day. The pillow cases were missing from our 4 bed pillows. Housekeeping banged on our door at 10am even though we had the do not disturb sign on it. They wanted to clean our room but check out wasn’t until 11am. No water or coffee in room.

It was a beautiful placewith a very convenient location. Close to the Marina and many activities. The food was AMAZING. Every day had different cousins and each was tasteful and delicious. The transportation within the hotel was so amazing. We loved the staff. They are very friendly, helpful, polite and caring.

I wish the rooms and furniture were a bit updated. Our room location was beautiful, but it seemed it hadn't been updated since 20 years ago. It can add significant value to the first impression. I suggest adding some night activity, Dance, or sunset firepit along the beach. It's a beautiful view but hasn't been used to its full potential.

No swimming at beach but we knew that in advance and went to the sister property to do that which was great

The lack of information: not informed that we needed to make reservations for special restaurants as soon as we arrived; not informed that the Bistro was serving Thanksgiving dinner by reservation only - Concierge told us there were no reservations for the Bistro that very day. Concierge was of very little help; concierge never answered the phone. Had to call the reservation number for information- they were very pleasant and helpful Not informed we could check out at market instead of waiting in long line in lobby.

Great food options, nice variety. Food sometimes was really good, other times not bad, never terrible. Friendly & helpful staff. Great COVID protocol & safety regulations. Beautiful property & nice pools. Great service at pools. Convenient shuttle services to sister resorts, & to excursions. Awesome 24 hour room service, & 24/7 access to main pool. Free WiFi entire stay & decent signal pretty much everywhere. SO many room/villa options to choose from. Reliable 24/7 gold cart service.

No swimming at the accessible beach. But you can take shuttle to sister resorts to swim in the ocean. Depending on where you stay, you can be far from lobby, sky pool, main eatery, gift shops, etc. Taking the golf carts often & waiting for them can get tiring. Front desk/lobby employees were not as friendly as the rest of the resort staff is. Long waits for food in the market. A lot of things sell out there quickly as well at dinner.
