Kudat Golf & Marina Resort

The pool was big enough to enjoy even when all the kids were taking over one end of it. The massage service was epic - I recommend. The room was larger than I needed but was the only one available - beds were comfortable, wasn ice to finally have an enclosed shower, a powerful hairdryer, and a large operable window so that I did not have to rely on AC for ventilation and could access better views.

The booking experience was not great. The default/automatic booking option was pay upon arrival. On the day of, prior to checkin time, the staff threatened to give my room away if I didn't pay but they didn't provide any payment details. It was sorted over a few hours but made for a stressful and unnecessary experience. Additionally, there was no vegan options on the menu. With 65% of the population being lactose intolerant (although live unknowingly and with gut issues), a high priced resort like this easily step it up by offering soy or oat milk alternatives and actual decent sized, vegan meals that have vegan protein like a variety of beans, legumes, nuts, etc

kudat is a peaceful town, good place to run away from busy city, The resort is abit old but no bother for me and my girl,we both enjoyed. Breakfast , fried chicken and curry chicken super delicious!!! staff are helpfull and friendly alot parkibg space

Dinner that serve within the room package not that attractive and delicious.... Over priced Canned Beer Should do some repair for the bathroom door and the shower head. more lighting in bathroom especially above the ceiling of shower head full payment requested before stay , not as what booking.com mentioned no prepayment.

The pool...

During my stays there was no Internet connection due to upgrading...it seems that it takes year to complete the upgrading...the process of upgrading was dictated by the service provider not the resort's management...the resort's management should be proactive in pursuing this matters since many of their guests are from overseas who came to play golf ⛳...

The view really nice and they had the side door so i can go to my parents room. Window also can open.

It the room is too small. The bathroom is low and the fridge is too loud. The wall have someone drawing. I paid the breakfast cost me bout RM39 or something the but the breakfast only have cereal milk mee goreng bread hot dog egg and i can't believe that...

Location wise, this place is very good. Since i have the ocean view, i thought of catching the sunset, but the direction is to catch the sunrise instead. I think so. Didn't manage to wake up early. I'm thoroughly satisfied since all i want is a good window view. Thank you.

The entrance roadway is a bit run down, so first impression is on the low side. Other than that all is good.

The cleanliness of the room and breakfast were decent and acceptable. The hotel staff are warm and friendly.

We noted that one the ceiling fans near the swimming was not functioning at all and we felt uncomfortable sitting and having chats there because it was very warm even though it was at night.

Overall in good memorable, only a few thing that maybe the management will take the consideration about room maintenance.

The building maintenance for interior and exterior look never touch up, maybe because of the MCO time. We understand that very costly but for the resort standard and you ask for the comment for future management then we share accordingly.

Great location with beautiful sea view by the Bay of Kudat. Friendly staff.

Provision of liquid gel only in the shower area of the bathroom. Suggest to provide bar soaps too especially at the sink area as per what other hotels usually made available. I had to request the bar soaps through the housekeeping staff. For drinking water, suggest to provide bottled mineral water instead of the guests having to refill from water dispenser on their own at the hotel hallway of each floor.

Beautiful place with fresh air.

We took 3 rooms and given at the lower ground level, which outside our room was total darkness. It will be better if the surrounding/outside our room have some lights.
