Oakwood Hotel and Residence Kuala Lumpur

They upgraded us into a One Bedroom Deluxe Room which is very spacious and have a nice pool view as well.

We are able to enter the room without using our key card, I supposed HK did not locked back the room properly after cleaning the room, we still can found some minor debris in the room at the sofa, toilet and the entrance area.

The rooms are large and comfy with lots of storage, which was especially great 'cause we stayed there for 2 weeks. Nice large bathroom, too. The hotel has a good pool and gym, the latter having solid Technogym equipment. But I would specifically like to compliment the staff (at the reception, the guards and those in the breakfast area): they are so kind and helpful, a big thank you to them for making our stay extra great!

The breakfast could have more variation. It was more obvious to us, since we were staying for a rather long period. If you're staying only a couple of nights, it should be diverse enough.

The staff were very friendly, the receiptionist knew English very well. The cleaning services were regular and delivery drivers were able to reach this hotel easily.

My internet connection was horrible. It would cut out often and was incredibly slow. I am a programmer, so maybe I hit a limit while doing job and they lowered my internet quality.

the size of the appartment, enough place for 2 people to work in different rooms online, internet is decent (not perfect for video conference), the staff meets you halfway (we had a problem with payment on our side and they agreed to wait). We stayed in the place for 2 more nights (the price was lower in the hotel then on Booking or other online services)

the aircon is not strong enough but it wasn't hot in the room anyway, the bathrobe had a stain, a tap wasn't properly fixed, the handles to the shower are positioned in the wrong sides (you need to pull horizontal one, and push vertical one while it has to be vice versa). All of these didn't make our stay any worse

The swimming pool is great. Fairy equipped gym with air-conditioning. The breakfast is one of the best I have ever had. Room is good and clean. The reception has allowed us a later check out as we had late afternoon flight, this is hugely appreciated. I need one more night staying in Kuala Lumpur and I have already booked the same hotel.

I believe the hotel was originally built with the intention to have a balcony in every room but must have changed their mind during building and there isn't access to the balcony even though was small would have been great to have one.

Oakwood is spacious, we enjoyed the pool & surrounds. The pool is clean & maintained daily, also long opening hours - I like to swim early morning I.e 7am & at Oakwood I could! Thank you We enjoyed exploring local shops & restaurants in the area. We particularly looked forward each morning to the quality, fresh breakfast items at the self serve buffet I.e good choice of coffees, fruits,local dishes to sample, salads-a varied selection.

The TREAT restaurant is set-up for breakfast. Although there are evening menus available, we didn’t see the space being used to its full potential in the evenings. Perhaps a different vibe/ambiance would work I.e live entertainment, themed evenings,family evenings to include attractions for young children.

The hotel is located in a nice part of KL. A short walk away from Ampang Park Metro station, from there you can access most major attractions in KL. The hotel was very clean and staff were pleasant. The rooms were very spacious and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was also big.

The room was a tad noisy so bring ear plugs and the wifi was not the best.

We stayed at the one bedroom apartment and had wonderful stay. Location was good for us, easy to get grab and get anywhere in the city. Also you can walk to PETRONAS towers in 20 min. The apartment had a water filter so you had endless amount of drinking water. Apartment was big and the noise from the street was not as bad as some reviews say. Very big and good breakfast. Lots of options to vegetarians as well.i think good value for the price. Would recommend.

When we arrived the apartment was mostly clean, but when looking more closely you could see that the corner has not vacuumed everywhere. There were bread crumbs on the sofa and hairs on the bathroom. There also were some stains I. The mirrors. We had to call housekeeper to give us toilet paper and fill the shampoo container as well. So cleaners should be more precise. But however I would stay here again.

Not the first visit to this hotel. Pretty much everything went well. Fast check in. Security explained how to proceed with parking/check-in on arrival. Nice basement parking, 2 RM per day. Nice room, quiet, good bathroom with lot of space. 2 normal size queen bed. Breakfast was nice, very good omelette, coffee machine with good selection and quality coffee.

I feel like room was not 100% clean. I noticed some hairs on floor and I'm sure those were not mine as I have different color. Also shower gel bottle was pretty much empty. But overall quality/price of Oakwood Hotel is great.

the room pretty clean and everyday housekeeping cleaning our room. The guard was helpful as well they help the bring the luggages up to the room. Friendly guard as well. The front office lady was helpful.

am coming with my child and we have a twin bed which is not suitable , perhaps that my bad choice as well.. but the front office guy can do better when he checked me in by offering different kind of bed, maybe thats the least he can do , but he didnt..no lift from the basement carpark . bit difficult to handle the luggages from the car to the lobby.
