Melange Hotel Bukit Bintang

Hair dryer and fridge in the room. They gave me a room at the end of the corridor which good and quiet. overall it’s value for money.

There’s some smell that came out of the air-cond but it went away after a while (or maybe I got habituated by it). Also, it’s located at a back alley, so if you’re a solo traveler (or female), and not very brave, avoid this hotel.

1. The hotel staff was very helpful and understanding. 2. The room is comfortable and spacious. 3. The bathroom is excellent and clean. 4. The hotel is quiet and there are no disturbances from the guests. 5. The hotel is very close to the city center and does not require transportation to reach the tourist areas there. 6. The food street is right behind the hotel and contains different and delicious restaurants and foods. 7. If anyone interested in IT and technology the Low-Yat mall is 5 min walking away from the hotel.

1. Payment is required as soon as you check in. 2. The desk light lamp was broken. 3. It is not safe to move alone after midnight. 4. Starting from six o'clock in the evening until the morning, you will find many girls asking you if you want to do a massage, and they start touching you and approaching you uncomfortably.

Firstly, the female staff Vicky was excellent. She provided top-notch service when I lost my identity card and was extremely pleasant during the whole situation, even helping me search and look through the CCTV. The hotel is also just a 5-minute walk from the LRT and Jalan Alor. Room itself is decent for the price, not as noisy and unsafe as expected. The room is compact but has good facilities (tv, desk, several power plugs, mini fridge, etc.)

The only major problems were with the bathroom. The toilet seat was very loose and unable to be pushed up properly. The shower head was also too heavy for its holder, which made it unable to stand properly. Lastly, the water can get incredibly steaming hot very fast. Accidentally burned myself a bit at the sink. Small stains on floor, bed sheets, etc, but were not troubling.

Everything was good and functionning, the AC, fridge, shower. The bathroom is modern, the bed is really confortable. The hotel is in a hot spot for tourism, 5mn walk from metro and 10mn walk from main shopping malls. Even if it's close to a crowded area its soo quite especially at night. Its super safe you have to use your acces card to enter the hotel and use the lift (elevator). 5mn waiting time for Grab (equivalent to Uber).

The bed, bed sheets and carpet have dirty spots but its not that dramatic. If the hotel cleans them more it will become a perfect hotel to go in KL

-Location is superb to walk but don’t expect a nice view because the location is behind the shops building and back street. -And in the morning there’s a crazy lady outside on the street screaming for no reason -Shower toilet clogged

Contrary 2 a bad review on Melange which a friend sent 2 me, I was initially apprehensive but upon reflection, i decided 2 give Melange a chance n thankfully i was pleasantly surprised by the 2 very2 helpful staff Wei Keng n Vicky who happily helped me with my luggage to 5th floor n hailg Grab numerous times as I am elderly n not equipped w intl WIFI SIM card. The room was v clean n quiet w thoughtful amenities eg WIFI, toiletries, elec kettle, hairdryer, mini fridge n a tray with a cup n plastic spoons, some beverage n box of tissues. As the room rates were reasonable w all taxes n serv charge included in the total w breakdown, this afforded transparency n avoided unpleasant disputes bt the parties. I wud stay in Melange again n wud definitely recommend it 2 my friends n relatives if it maintains it's reasonable rates. Oso its location is excellent w lots of eatg houses n some fruits stalls w readily cut fruits along Jalan Alor v near Melange. Numerous shoppg malls eg Pavillion, Lot 10 , Fahrenheit 88, Plaza Wang are only a short walk away. I oso fedback 2 Vicky 2 change the severely leaky pipe of the shower handset to reduce water wastage n use a filter to trap hair n other solids so tt my n other wash basins wud not be flooded every time it is being used! I only stayed @ Melange fr 21 to 24 Sep 22 n NOT as yr stated dates. Daisy Chua🌼

I do not dislike Melange @ all but felt they shd verbally ask guests when they check out what inconvenience they experience during their stay n take action n periodic maintenance to address the problems. Leakage of precious water in pipes must b stopped.

The location is close to all eateries and bars. Pillows got 2 variations: hard and soft, which for me is amazing as i love hard pillow to support my neck and soft pillow for cuddles. Toilet is clean. No faulty smell in the room. View was amazing Got hairdryer, safety chest and small fridge in the room. The bellboy at the counter is cute. The staffs are all very friendly and always ready to help and attending your needs in fast pace.

Bed is springy. Curtain cannot cover the whole windows during day time. The floor is dirty and got pieces of food.

Excellent location. Close to the Bukit bintang LRT line. Great for street food. Massages available around the corner if you are interested. Room was a good size single. Comfortable bed. Air con too.Great ensuite facilities. Friendly, helpful staff. Good value for money.

The room could have been a lot cleaner. Also, they don't clean your room if you are there for more than a night unless you ask. Never had that before in a hotel. Hostel maybe. Also poor lighting by the bed if you want to read.

- friendly staff, greet you with a smile - hot water is very hot - AC works, though it's a bit humid - free two bottles of water - fridge - great location if you anticipate hanging out in the touristy nightlife area, which is literally a one minute walk away - privacy + blackout curtains that work well - quiet - decent sized window - pretty comfy bed and pillows - overall very clean

Is a very strategic location, close to Jalan Alor and just walking distance to the MRT or Monorail station, and also to Pavillion or Fahrenheit mall. The female staff at reception were very nice and helpful. She allowed me to store my luggage at the hotel before check in time and also after check out time. Definitely one of the hotels I will stay at if I return to KL, Malaysia
