I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Grand Renai Hotel, Kota Bharu and I cannot speak highly enough of my experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly attentive and welcoming, ensuring that my check- in process was smooth and efficient. Special thanks to front office staff Mr. Lee Boon Kai And the many other friendly staff that i have not had time to remember your names. The first thing that struck me about Grand Renai was his warm and genuine welcome. He had a genuine smile and a pleasant demeanor that immediately put me at ease after a long day of travel. His professionalism and approachability made the check-in process a breeze, and I was immensely grateful for his efficient handling of my reservation. The hotel itself is a stunning architectural marvel nestled in a picturesque location with breathtaking views of kota bharu city. The lobby exudes elegance and sophistication, with tasteful decor and ambient lighting that immediately set the tone for a relaxing and indulgent stay. My room no was 1026 and was nothing short of perfection. It was impeccably clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed to provide the utmost comfort. The plush bedding, high-quality linens, and panoramic windows overlooking the beautiful city made for a truly serene retreat. The attention to detail was evident throughout, from the modern amenities to the thoughtful touches such as a personalized selection of premium toiletries. And i impressed for their complimentary Gym & swimming pool facilities for in house guest at 8th floor. I also worth mentioning is their housekeeping staff Mr. Aizol who make up my room nicely and provide extra Mineral water, coffee and tea as per my request. Throughout my stay, the staff consistently went above and beyond to cater to my every need.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel. From the moment I walked in, the receptionist and their warm welcome made the check-in process an absolute breeze. The hotel's ambience is truly remarkable. The elegant decor and soothing atmosphere create a welcoming environment that instantly put me at ease. It's a place where you can truly relax and unwind. One of the standout features of my stay was the incredibly comfortable bed. After a long day of travel, sinking into that bed felt amazing. I had some of the best nights of sleep during my stay. But what truly sets this hotel apart is the exceptional service provided by the staff, particularly the receptionist. Their attentiveness, and willingness to go the extra mile to ensure a pleasant stay were remarkable. Any request or question I had was handled promptly and with a genuine smile.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel, but there were two issues. Firstly, the shower cap needed replacing. Secondly, the bathroom lacked a separator between the powder area and the toilet, making it a bit slippery and inconvenient for getting ready. Despite these issues, the hotel's excellent service and ambiance made the stay pleasant overall.

At first didnt expect too much.. but the check in was so smooth, easy , the person at the counter was really nice.. then we head up the the room at the 14th floor, the room was huge! N clean.. its a old room, but the kept it very clean.. the bathroom sme nice.. good job at their cleaner.. Alsooo the bfast, i also didnt expect too much.. hahaaa.. because we plan wanted to bfast outside, but the hotel give free bfast so we had to try, kacang pool is the best!! Like "sedap dooh" what kelantan people whould say hehe.. soo good!! Also they serve roti titab as well, crosaint was bake fresh over there n we love it! Fresh fruit , fresh salad bar.. ofkos next time, i whould come here n book this place again.. tq so much for giving us the lovely room ~

Everything was good.. nothing to complain,

The breakfast was phenomenal! Loved the unique selections of local food, all made fresh and breakfast starts really early from 6AM for those who's here for conference or need to catch a flight, it's definitely worth a try. Bedrooms are spacious, staffs are friendly and accommodating. Free parking for guests.

One set back is that they don't do housekeeping. Stayed 2 nights and our bedroom were not made. When we came, it was school holiday and they were visibly many people around. Not sure that has to be requested or because they missed our room.

The staff, especially those at the front desk, were very welcoming and helpful. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable, the decor above the bed and below the tv is pleasing to the eyes. The work station joins with the ledge along the wall giving it ample space to put stuff on. There is also an armchair n a coffee table placed strategically facing the tv. A good place to have coffee while watching tv.

The lighting in this spacious room can be improved upon. Not all areas are lit well especially near the connecting door and the tv. If the tv is not swtiched on, the area gets very dark. Since this room can be occupied by 2 people, another armchair would be nice to have. Management must also frequently refresh the smell in the room. The first day I came, the room smelt a bit dingy. But housekeeping later on sprayed a refreshing smell in it.

Overall it is a very nice hotel. We (3 rooms) stay here for 2 weeks on business trip. The room is big, bright and comfort. Nice working table. Most of the staff is friendly. Special credit to Ms. Farah of Front Desk. She solved my 2 request where as others just told me 'not sure' or 'don't know'. Also Ms. Norliza of Breakfast section. Very nice and friendly. Good location. A small shopping mall is next to it. Easy to get many things.

Rooms need renovation due to it is already old. Bed need to change also (squeezy sound) Less TV channel to watch. Wifi is weak. Various choice of food for Breakfast. But if you have a long stay. Then you will find it is 80% same everyday. No power plug near the bed side table.

The food is simply marvelous. I ordered grilled salmon and several desserts like the puding raja, lompat tikam and also pulut mangga for the in room dining and I can say that they were soooo delicious. The breakfast spread has so many varieties. The room is so spacious and the hotel was so kind to upgrade our room to junior suite. I requested for the room decor to celebrate my husband's birthday and they really did a great job at decorating the room. The food will be my number 1 reason why I will come back to this hotel again next time insya Allah.

The tiles in the bathroom are very slippery especially after taking bath in the shower or in the bath tub. I would suggest the hotel to provide some kind of non slip plastic bath mat for the bath tub so that it wont be too slippery for children. And the lighting in the room is quite dim for me. Really hope can improve on that.

It was a 4* hotel now but it still maintain its 5* vibes.breakfast was superb.kacang pool was good.Lots of Variety and the taste was delicious,have hi tea there, great value for money. Amenities jacuzzi,sauna,gym is still there.. I like most was its warmth big & clean pool.. The bed was a comfy large single bed with spacious room Front office staff was very helpful & have a great personalities .

Please open the door adjoining tothe lobby hotel & the supermarket.. quite troublesome to go all the way out to enter the supermarket especially on rainy days.We are now the endemic phase so I hope the management should consider opening the adjoining door

Breakfast - excellent with local cuisines, beyond expectations. Newly refurbished. Executive Chef made a round at breakfast to greet guests. Dinner - had dinner with friends. Value for money set dinner. Ordered for 5 but can feed 8! Room - newly refurbished, in excellent state. Nice comfortable bed and pillows. Close to town.

I have nothing to comment here. All is well. We enjoyed the stay very much.
