Urban H Hotel

1. room 104 (1 queen bed and 1 single bed) is very spacious. 2. the bathroom is spotless 3. the bed was so comfy and fresh 4. water pressure is the best (the room is at level 1) 5. free multilevel car park area

1. I really hate the smell of cigarette smoke. It makes me sick. it happens around 10 pm, I'm not sure from where the smell coming in but I assume the other guests smoke in the escalator area. hope the hotel management can handle this problem.

Staff at the counter were very well prepared, friendly, and helpful. I did not have to wait long at all to check in - went to the counter, passed my IC, paid my deposit, and got the room cards straight away. A refreshing change from other hotels I’ve been to where we’ve had to wait for them to check our booking in the system, etc. Nice that they had their own parking too esp. in crowded Penang.

The TV signal went on and off so I was left to find my own entertainment on my phone. Thankfully the wifi was okay. Also a laundry bag would have been really helpful.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Hostel has little treats that make your stay even better.

Ample parking space, was the important thing why I tried this place. Room wifi was good, room itself was also good, clean, enough toiletries and have kettle, fridge and a safe. Across from the hotel there are a number of eateries so it was convenient. There was also a convenience store nearby if need anything else. Peaceful, quiet environment so it is good when coming to stay for work. There's a gym too which was good.

A bit troublesome to have to look for the person to provide voucher for the free parking every morning as the person often not at desk.

Location is good for me and my family. It's not in the busy area of georgetown so its quiet and not crowded but also chulia, armenian, and other tourist areas are within walking distance (~1 km). the service from the staff is excellent, even the building security was very helpful when we checked out at 3 am to catch our flight. the hotel is a good option for families traveling to georgetown on a budget but would still appreciate decent accommodation.

the bathroom door's lock was loud so we'd wake up in the middle of the night when someone is using the toilet. the hotel is also in a shared building with workplace tenants so in the morning there's a line in using the lift because you're sharing it with the building employees. restaurant at the first floor also has weird operating hours so we didn't get a chance to use our 10% discount from the hotel.

Quite new and clean. The lobby is good. Right hand side of the main entrance. The staff will call you before your arrival to confirm on the arriving time. During the stay, very responsive to the issues such as carpark and item replenishment. Very easy to get a parking as they have own parking lot. The parking is free of charge, just approached the staff for the payment will do. The room is quite acceptable as well. Quite comfy. Tv doesn’t really good😂 bring own laptop or hdmi cable for own shows😂

I booked a junior suite (2 queens) and the room is very big! Water pressure is excellent.

Very near places of interest. The mamak stall infront of the hotel is awesome, nice teh tarik and nasi lemak. The staff was helpful and friendly. Parking was free daily but still need to get voucher from front desk. Also, very attentive to our requests.

Some parts of the room is unclean, especially in the nooks and crannies. But overall ok. Room can be noisy if neighbours are extra loud. Minibar fridge was leaking when we were using it.

Good location in GT. Room was as described. Clean. Very comfy bed. Facilities were fine. Gym was good.

Little bit on the small side. Cafe downstairs was delicious but opened at 11am and closed at 5pm, shut on Mondays. We only got to eat there once. Didn't realise we were staying on the second floor if an office block. Very weird.

This is my 4th time staying at this hotel. This time we booked the 3-bedroom apartment. It was so spacious. Every room has its own bathroom, which was really convenient when traveling with a large group/family. The living room was also spacious. My family members were so happy during their stay because the location is very strategic and very near to lots of famous restaurants in Georgetown.
