HOTEL THE LEBEN OSAKA

It was a lovely trip especially I chose stay in The Leben hotel. Hotel location was perfect in walking distance to attractions area and only 2 mins walking to train station. The hotel staff were so friendly and welcoming at all time ; The room was large and the bed was comfortable enough for two adults to sleep in without feeling cramped at all. I will definitely come back to stay in this hotel if I visit Osaka in next trip.

Washing machine located in some level , and each level only have 1, I been waiting and go up and down few time, I would like to put my recommendation to the manager, if there’s extra washing machines at each level would be super excellent and convenient for all the guests.

Staff: Incredibly friendly, professional, and helpful. They were able to accommodate me and assist me even though I did not speak the language. 10/10 Room: Overall wonderful room, big bed, nice bathroom, and great couch to watch tv and unwind from a long day's out. 10/10 Breakfast: Good breakfast however the variety is limited to about 4 meal sets in rotation. Overall not a bad thing but can become boring if staying for a long time. 8/10 Facilities: Has a washer/dryer, vending machine, ice dispenser, ironing board. The basics. Has a coffee, tea, and snack station on the first floor. Also has a amenities station for toothbrushes, combs, lotions, soaps, and other basic necessities one might need. 9/10

This is my first time getting a relatively higher end room and where as it was a very nice room, I don't believe it justifies the price. At least if you are rooming by yourself. Considering the money you can save, I would argue it's better to get a medium end room (price wise) if you want comfort and use the money you save for going out and other things.

Spacious modern rooms perfect for families. We loved the smart TV where we could cast movies from our phones and check if the washing machine was available without having to physically go and check. They also provided universal chargers in the room. We had plenty of restaurants nearby including family friendly ones and if we wanted to go to the dotombori area it was 10mins which was great. There's a supermarket 4mins away as well. They had a drinks refreshment table in the lobby which was a nice touch.

It would be nice if they had a shelf or nook that we could place the cups, remotes, kettle etc. I found that it was too low and easily accessible for young kids to reach and could potentially be a safety hazard with hot water in a kettle. Also we had to request for extra towels often whereas other hotels provided 4 without us needing to ask everytime.

Hotel The Leben is located a few blocks from the super busy Shinsaibashi area. We enjoyed the quiet location and walkability to Dotonburi and Shinsaibashi for foods and shopping. It is a chic and modern hotel with high sustainability measures. The rooms are perfect in size, cleanliness and comfort. The beverage bar at the lobby offers great coffee teas, and refreshing, fruity water. A full array of quality toiletries is located in the lobby for everyday use. The breakfast is so fresh and healthy. And, last but not least, the English speaking staff is super friendly. WE LOVED IT and will stay there again!

Location - We wanted a place near the central shopping areas and the Leben was perfect. It was a 15minute walk away from Dotonburi, Americamura, Shinseigei and Takashimaya. It was nice walking back and being slightly away from the crowd. Nearby there were also streets of small beautiful restaurants that we didn't manage to try! Overall Service Experience - Front Desk was excellent and provided a pleasant experience check in and check out. Housekeeping was excellent too and kept everything so clean even though we had a lot of baggage. The hotel also provided a station for drinks (fruit infused water! coffee! tea!) and amenities on the ground floor and it was perfect to start the day with. Room Design - You can just tell that some serious effort had been spent in designing the room to ensure guests had a comfortable stay. Amazing room layout and design. Hotel room had a HDMI cable to connect your device to, or you could even pair your device to the TV. Power points were all well thought of and placed strategically around the room. There were enough hangers and space to store clothes. 3 separate spacious wet zones - bathroom, vanity (with so much counter space) and toilet. It was just...perfect.

Wish we could open the windows or look out - windows were glazed so you couldn't really see out, but it did bring in brightness in the mornings. It was okay for me - with mild cleithrophobia - but that would probably be the only thing that could stop me from making a return visit.

Fantastic hotel in great location. 10 min walk from Dotonbori which we were grateful for being a little away from all the hustle and bustle. The hotel is seemingly brand new, rooms are big, comfy beds, lovely staff. I especially liked the coffee machine and flavored waters available in the lobby.

We were on a low floor and our bedroom window was frosted, so we really couldn’t see anything. Loud at times but nothing too terrible.

The amenities were very good and even if we didn't have breakfast included in our booking, tea and coffee were still free in the lobby. The front desk were very friendly and helpful. The overall experience was excellent! Enjoyed this hotel very much and if I am back in Osaka, it would be my first choice for accommodation. Very accessible and close to the stations and areas like shinsaibashisuji and Dohtonbori were walkable, also there is a 7-eleven right beside it.

I think this is a normal thing for some hotels, that the toilet would be separate from the shower area. But its not too bad that would affect my travels.

Reservations through Booking.com are not clear regarding the hotel policy with Children. We had booked for 4 people, with Breakfast included (per our Booking confimation on Booking.com). However, upon check-in, the hotel check-in staff were saying that the 2 children will not get breakfast included. We argued for a while and showed the hotel staff that the Booking was made for Breakfast included for all 4 persons. Eventually, the hotel agreed to give the 2 children vouchers for breakfast and they said they were giving a complimentary gesture. However, according to our booking confirmation, the breakfast was ALREADY paid for as part of the reservation.

We are family of 3 and this hotel is baby friendly they give you diaper box to dispose diapers and milk bottle sanitizer which i never seen in any hotel plus when we arrived they gave us a baby toys and shoe i highly recommend this hotel everything is near 7 eleven is 1 minute walk and dotonbori street is minutes away metro station too highly recommend

Nothing negative

Spacious rooms for Japan standards! It is in a quiet/non busy area which we appreciated. There were free amenities and drinks in the lobby, they even served free flowing wine on Christmas Day. 7Eleven, Family Mart, Lawson, and Sukiya were all within walking distance. We likewise walked around 15-20mins to Shinsaibashi and Dotonbori, enjoyed the leisurely stroll. Easy to call for taxi or Uber in front of hotel.
