Narita U-City Hotel

It takes 5 mins walk to get to the station. 2 stops away from the airport. Has free bus to take you to airport. There convenient stores near by so you can grab some food and drink with cheap price.

The free bus to airport start from 7 a.m, I didn't ask so I don't know if they could depart sooner. It's not about the hotel, the train station signal is confusing and if you're not careful enough you may go to the city instead of go to the airport.

it’s very close to the narita station, they have shuttle to narita airport too, but if you cannot get the shuttle, you can just use local train to / from narita airport.. the room is clean, the bath is good.. it was nice place to stay

The location is superb for transportation and food. The hotel is walking distance to both JR Line and Keisei Line Narita station. Which we can find many food outlets. Our favorite Kitchen Origin jis just across the street… 😋 convenience store is easily located 😃 All the staff is friendly, helpful…,they tried to their best to communicate with us in English…Great Hospitality …👍🏻🤩 The airport shuttle services cater to our needs. 😊

The hotel was very close to the station and had a seating area in the room which was a real bonus. The beds were super comfy and we could open the window despite being on the 7th floor. Our request to book in early and check out late were accommodated with no extra charge and bag storage on request too. The staff were very helpful polite and respectful. Hotel offered clear instructions on how to get there and was good value for money.

The bathroom was smaller than the other 5 hotels we stayed in on our trip and there was a slight leak from the sink so there was some water on the bathroom floor from the base of the unit after use, which if the bathroom had been later, would've been less of an issue.

This was my first stay in Japan and we had clean rooms, very friendly service, basic communication in English and a convenient shuttle bus from the airport. Breakfast was a mix of English, continental and some Japanese dishes. Many thanks.

.The bus system was not easy to understand, I thought one bus departs to each hotel, but each hotel even has its own bus. All the hotel buses leave from the same stop, so I almost got on the wrong bus, and the drivers speak Japanese. There was some information about the buses, but I did not understand it completely.

It's 3 min. Walk from Narita's JR Station. The personal was very friendly and very accommodating, as I arrived around 1 pm. They let me do an early check-in (I'm well aware that it is rare and only possible upon availability), they were very attentive and even sent me a message with indications to the hotel's location from the JR Station (very on spot and clear). It has a bus shuttle service to the airport, which is very convenient and had the opportunity to use. The room even had a pot with hot water ready for me to use.

I honestly don't know why people give low ratings for menial things. Yes, the hotel is a bit old, for said reason the noise of other rooms can be heard a bit, yes it may need renovations such as painting slightly stained walls, and changing a bit shredded curtains. I didn't bother for those small details. For the attention, the location, the amenities, bus shuttle service and the price? For me is so worth it. It will be my first option when I go back.

The hotel was within very easy walking distance from Narita train station, allowing for convenient travel with baggage for check-in. The staff were polite, friendly and extremely helpful, with the reception staff assisting me with booking free use of the hotel's airport shuttle bus for the following morning as soon as I arrived. There was a paid breakfast service, which was of great value for money. Whilst I was using this hotel mainly for the convenience of location due to being within a short distance of the airport the surrounding amenities all seemed very good, with konbini, cafes and eateries all within the immediate vicinity. The room was comfortable and very clean. The decor and facilities were somewhat dated as noted in other reviews, but everything was extremely well maintained, cleaned and fully functional, so personally I found this to be charming.

Only 2-3 minutes from JR Narita Station's West Exit, no hassle at all even with luggage. Service staff were friendly and spoke English readily. Had my doubts since the hotel was evidently quite old, but everything was very well-maintained and above all, clean. Plently of space in the room as well. All in all, pleasantly surprised and satisfied with my stay.

Soundproofing could be better, but quiet hours were obeyed, so it wasn't much of an issue.

The staffs are wonderful. Front desk staffs are very kind. I really appreciate how kind and caring they are. In fact, I was very very impressed by everyone I’ve met during my stay. They have a very high value of Japanese hospitality and service mind. The hotel’s shuttle bus driver helped with our luggage and gave clear directions to the lobby as well. The housekeepers are also very courteous. My family and I were very happy with our stay at Narita U city hotel. The location is very convenient as well. I will stay there again soon.

Staff very friendly and allowed me to check in early which is the first time i have been allowed in Japan. They also upgraded my room for free. Hotel is a bit dated but very clean and the beds were very comfortable. They provide a memory foam pillow and a good quality standard pillow too. Everything worked as it should. Very short walk to both rail stations. Wifi was strong. Narita is a pretty town and the park, temple and pagoda are worth the visit alone.

Cheap thin towels. Eveything else was great.
