The check-in and check-out were quick and smooth. The staff are accommodating and friendly. The location was excellent as it was close to Sannomiya station and go-to spots in Kobe such as Kobe Motomachi, Kobe Chinatown, and Ikuta Road (where you can find most restaurants that serve Kobe beef). My family and I stayed in a moderate twin room, and it was adequately sized. The room has the usual amenities (water bottles and tea were provided), and the TV with chromecast function was good. The bathroom was large, and it was great to soak in the tub after a long day of walking around the city. The hotel also offers extra amenities on the front desk floor (facial care, hair oil, bath salt, etc.) Breakfast also had decent selections, and the staff were attentive and made sure the food was refilled.

The Daiwa Roynet Sannomiya Premier was an excellent hotel. The rooms were spacious and well equipped with quality bathroom fittings. So comfortable. The staff were so accommodating and would go out of their way to help with anything. The breakfast is very good offering Japanese and Western options. This hotel so central to the main Sannomiya Chuo shopping area which is great.

It would be helpful to advise which station entrance is the closest to the hotel as it can be so confusing for a first time traveler to Kobe.

Staff were amazing, I unfortunately got 2 days in my stay bad case of plantar fasciitis so couldn’t move at all so hotel was accommodating with assistance needed to amend my itinerary and they were super helpful in calling on my behalf hotels and requesting that my cancellation fee gets waived. Not to mention my frequent requests for more ice 🧊 :),which allowed me to get back on my feet within 2 days.

Near lots of shopping. Room was spacy and comfortable. It has everything you need. The breakfast was great. Food was delicious. The workers really paid attention to the kids playing around the food without parents supervision. I saw the worker changed the bottle licked by the kid. What a relief!

The tables at the restaurant for the breakfast are a little bit cramped and seating was very close to each other. If someone has a cold or flu, the other people around might be affected.

Japanese rooms are quite small, but this had a large bathroom and a very good, practical layout that allowed me to comfortably seat at the desk, at the coffe table, hanging clothes and have my luggage open without stumbling anywhere.. I liked the super central location, it was clean, and my room hat a window that I could open, which is great. Nothing fancy, but a solid choice for nice Kobe.

I had a room on top floor, behind the elevators. At the beginning, I thought I could hear their motors, but then I realised that it maybe was the air circulation system. I had the A/C always off, it was warm enough, but the circulation was always active and sound never stopped. It was quite unpleasant in the night or when I was just silent in the room. It was rather loud. I wonder, if a room on lower floors or in another position might also have been affected...

Staff were kind and professional during my stay. I also thought they looked very smart in their uniforms. The hotel itself was nice and modern. It was clean and my room was comfortable. The location was good, being near a station and surrounded by plenty of shops and places to eat. I really liked that I could open my window to let some fresh air into the room. The bathroom was also really nice and spacious.

I didn't feel like there was anything missing during my stay. I enjoyed everything and thought that the hotel overall had met my expectations. Thanks!

This is my favorite hotel in the Sannomiya area and this was my second stay. If you need a nice bathroom, then this is the place for you. The bath is a good size and super-new and lovely. I like the beds here too. One of the best things is the staff however. Everyone is so solicitous and well-trained from the friendly cleaning staff to the excellent reception staff. Most (all?) of the receptionists speak good English, yet if you speak Japanese or want to try your best, they'll support that. So appreciated! And thank you for asking me if I live in Japan rather than demanding my passport. I live in Kobe but I'll come here every time I need a break nearby!

I'm going to request a dimmer switch for the lights in the bathroom - ha! I really like (almost!) everything about this hotel.

Breakfast was tasty and interesting. I liked the variety and the buffet style. Staff were very helpful and helped me change from the smoking room to a non-smoking, since I had booked the wrong one by accident.

On a couple of occasions the breakfast cafe was completely full with long queues. I didn't have time to wait, so missed out. A take-away service would be good for those occasions.

Wonderful location close to the subway and China town. Staff was really nice and welcoming. Breakfast is served in the restaurant annex the lobby. There is a lot of choice with toast, rice... You can pick your favourite Japanese or western breakfast items. Baggage can be stored by the staff. Rooms are spacious. The Google Chromecast is a real plus! You can easily stream your favourite shows right from your smartphone. There are also washing machines on the 12th floor.

Very clean, room size a little small for 3 beds, but doable. Bathroom was spacious and clean. Fridge was not working and the front desk staff brought up a new one right away. Excellent customer service!! Breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts I have ever had! Ice machine, vending machine, and microwave room was a welcome addition to our stay.

Beds were a little too hard. There were 3 beds but barely room to walk between them.
