Atlantis Bay is a special place to stay. The views are breathtaking. The service and staff are excellent. This is a first class resort, worth every euro. Location is convenient; with a two minute walk you are on the funivia going up the hill to Taormina. Or you can walk to the Isola Bella beach in 5 minutes. Valet parking costs a bit extra but it’s worth it, since parking in the area is limited.

Better signage in the hotel would be helpful, as it can be confusing to get around the hotel. Other than that, the hotel is perfect.

Season opening at its best! very comfortable and cosy rooms embedded into a great facility build out of rocks. the staff and service was really five stars! the small lagoon at isola bella is breathtaking at sunrise

there is a train route next to the hotel but don’t worry you don‘t hear it.

I can't say enough nice things about this property! The view is gorgeous, the staff is soooo helpful and nice, great breakfast buffet (don't miss the granita!), rooms and decks are top notch, beautiful pool and grounds. I don't think the booking.com photos do the property justice, it's even better than I expected. If you can, spring for the suites. They are worth the extra money. I didn't have the opportunity to dine at the restaurant for dinner but the lunch menu is delicious and the cocktails and happy hour snacks are fabulous. The shuttle to town is only a few minute walk from the hotel. Cute lil markets and shops walking distance from the hotel.

Worth noting it's a 30 min + walk uphill to the town. The shuttle is convenient but it does not run very late, so be prepared to take the public bus or walk the steps back to the property in the late evening.

Atlantis Bay’s team were extremely attentive from the moment we arrived at this gorgeous hotel on Taormina’s beautiful coastline. They continued to take excellent care of our needs throughout our stay. Our modern hotel room had been designed and appointed to a very high standard, whilst keeping all of the historical charm of the hotel and its surroundings. Our private terrace with views over a tranquil fishing cove was an incredible place to experience room-service breakfast and start the day! Thank you Team Atlantis Bay (Giuseppe, Fabrizio, Mariella and all the rest of the team) for a truly wonderful stay and we very much look forward to returning!

Given we arrived slightly before peak season, access up to Taormina's old town was not available via cable car, but a bus service does run between the hotel and Taormina on a regular (30 minute) basis. Alternatively taxis can be arranged by the hotel.

The location was beautiful and very intimate. Loved the feel of the rooms 'cut into the rock'. It was like walking down a cave to your room. The staff were amazing and attentive to detail. There was nothing lacking at breakfast including the beautiful view over the bay. What more do you need for an excellent holiday.

The bathroom was a little disappointing. Would have rather had two washbasins and no bidet. Also storage of the bath towels were impossibly high and to access them I had to stand on the toilet as I am short! Little space also for personal wash bags and their contents.

Beautiful resort. Away from the town, but we would rather stay on the water away from the tourists. It is the best hotel on the water in my opinion. It is a few minutes walk to the tram into town. The staff are excellent and go out of their way to make sure everything is great. Walter even had breakfast boxes for us when we left at 4am! The breakfast was also really good.

The rooms can be a bit loud/not soundproof.

Absolutely stunning hotel. My favourite spot in Sicily. Hotel facilities and grounds were amazing. Staff were very nice and cleaners were very prompt. Our room seem to always be serviced when we returned to it no matter the time of day. Very comfortable beds. Cute balconies with sea views. Breakfast buffet and dinner at the restaurant was 5 star.

Very noisy at night with train passing right behind the hotel quiet frequently and sounded like maybe some track works. Might not be a good option for light sleepers, otherwise bring ear plugs. 25€/day for parking. Overall a bit expensive but I still think it was worth it.

Beautiful classic hotel nestled into a picturesque bay. The hotel is built into the mountain and offers exquisite views from pretty much everywhere. We booked a deluxe double room with a sea view, and it was extremely spacious and included a huge balcony which allowed for the perfect in room dining experience. Everything is amazing - from the pool, to the stone deck on the "beach", to the comfortable loungers on the lawn. The resort offers its own variety of watersports and activities. Boat and jetski rentals are also easily arranged. Nothing was too much, and the team of staff were truly superb.

Hard to dislike anything about this amazing resort.

there’s a train running through hotel regularly which isn’t ideal when trying to relax. value for money: it’s super expensive for everything…to water at pool to tonic charged separately costing 6euro on top of a gin. the hotel sits in a beautiful bay bf so many party boats moor so they are super loud: the hotel should influence more on where they can moor…it’s disappointing for customers trying to relax
