Location very good and the hosts are very friendly and helpful.

Location is just great. On a very quiet street just 50 meters from the main busy street in the old town. Great view from the terrace/window, the room size is enough. The public parking couldn't be closer. The hosts are so polite and helpful, they are working with great passion and will assist you with any infromation you may need about your trip in Sicily. The breakfast was fabolous. We stayed for 4 days and I am sure the next time will spend at least a week there :) I strongly recommend B&B AKROPOLIS

OB&B Akropolis was one of a kind experience on our Taormina trip. Luiggi & Lisa are extremely friendly and helpful and put a lot of love and detail in everything they do. They even prepared fresh and super delicious breakfast for us although we had to check out very early in the morning. That was really kind and made our day. Our room was extremely clean, comfortable and quiet - just what we needed after a very exhaustive day of sightseeing. The bathroom is spacious, the room is beautifully furnished and well eqquipped with everyrhing you need even for a longer stay plus a view of Etna from the window. The location is perfect, in a walking distance from all sights and restaurants and the city parking. This place is a must if you are going to Taormina!

Thank you Luigi & Elisa for being the sweetest hosts imaginable. You really could not have done more for us to make us feel more welcome and comfortable, from waking up very early to make our breakfast on our last day before the airport, to ironing our clothes and giving us amazing recommendations on what to see and what food to try and where. The room was perfect with the comfiest bed, the room had everything we needed and was spotless each day. We learnt a lot during our stay about the history of Sicily and when we return, we would not want to stay in any other accommodation, the location could not have been better too, right in the centre but also very quiet. Thank you for welcoming us into your home, we will never forget our first time in Sicily thanks to you both. We will miss you lots! Bethany and Hamza x

This little bed and breakfast is lovingly managed by a couple who care about the place. The location is perfect - a few minutes away from the parking lot outside Porta Catania and there are no stairs along the way. The room is pleasant and not cramped, and everything works. The balcony overlooks a garden and this adds a nice touch to the place. Breakfast was surprisingly good for the rate we paid, and it included some fresh items. When we return to Taormina, and we regularly do, we would not hesitate to stay here again.

Really convenient for the town, path to Isola Bella and Teatro Greco. Despite being in the centre of Taormina, it was actually reasonably quiet. We could see Etna clearly from our bedroom window on the second floor. Luigi and his wife are very eager to help you with local knowledge. There is a selection of cheeses, meats, fruit, bread and drinks for breakfast. Storage options are very good.

The municipal car park for bringing luggage from and to. The bathroom is a very practical use of space but I'm not sure about the combined toilet and bidet. It's the second time we've had one, it's a sensible use of space.... but? I often used our (separate) one at home for bathing my feet; I don't feel like swishing them in the loo. Carrying a suitcase up two flights of a circular staircase. Having said that, the B&B is a clever use of space.

The couple running it are insanely hospitable and accommodating. They were like an uncle and aunt welcoming us to their home, not like a rented accommodation. We both are very happy that we stayed here and when we come back to Taormina we 100% know where to go. Location is also perfect, in the heart of Taormina.

Location was amazing at the Catania Gate in Taormina. Luigi and Elisa were wonderful hosts sharing their knowledge and enthusiasm for their beautifFul town. A gorgeous breakfast daily prepared by Elisa. 👌 view from our balcony. Such good value for money in this excellent location❤️

Perfectly located in a small quiet street but just 3min walk to the main center. Nice, modern room, with a private balcony and bath. Hosts are so welcoming, allways available and helpful. Breakfast is great and prepared even when you need to leave quite early :-). The hosts know a lot / all about Sicily, its history and its nature. Many thanks, we had a wonderful stay there and learned a lot!

Wonderful location overlooking Palazzo dei Duchi di Santo Stefano gardens and the sea, inside the old city wall and conveniently just off the main street but far enough to be tranquil, and super near the Porta Catania car park. Beautifully renovated traditional old property with really modern well-appointed bedroom and bathroom and balcony with wonderful view. And then… Lisa & Luigi… they couldn’t have been more helpful. From accompanying us to navigate the mayhem at the Covid testing centre for our fit to fly certificate, to running back round to get a pen and then again an umbrella when it started pouring, Lisa was a joy. She also found out where we could watch the US Open women’s tennis final and even made us cannoli on our last day. Luigi was knowledgeable and adamant that we make the most of the cultural and natural sights locally and waited up for us each night. We LOVED this B&B!!
