Linda was a friendly host and very energetic for an older woman and also very helpful with our local regional travel. The place was very clean and good value for money. Taxis were scarce so Linda drove us to the train as we left. Sulmona is a quaint old place with narrow streets but the locals were out in force at the cafes and bars. The scenic drive to Cansano on a narrow winding road was another highlight..

My room was big and had a tasty decor. Internet connection was reliable. The owner - funny old lady understood that typical Italian breakfast (few dry biscuits plus jam plus coffee) is not sufficient for the tall man who is going to hike in the mountains and brought for me from the shop something more suitable :) Thank you!
Don't be confused! This property is not on the Plaza Maggiore - the main square of Sulmona is some 200 m away. In the day, but also during the night you will hear the car traffic over the window. Bring your earplugs if you are noise-sensitive! Do not try to find any supermarket in the old town. The nearest is two corners up from your B&B - on Giovanni XXIII street.

Location is very practical and the owner Linda is available and friendly. She had excellent advices for where to eat and go. The room is spacious.
The room was dark and it was not possible to leave the window open while keeping the curtain on to avoid being seen by the people of the building in front. The shower is small.

Mostly very clean except for some areas of the shared kitchen. Warm during cold weather. Easy to find and close to centre, but not in main square which would have been very noisy with public events.
Furnishing was tacky and ill thought out. A motley collection of cheap and secondhand items. Handwritten note of Wi-Fi password was impossible to use. No staff on site. The breakfast included consisted of a coffee and one croissant at a local cafe. We were directed to a different one for the second day but couldn’t find it or any other that would accept the voucher. Soggy astroturf outside front door.
