Lovely host. Giovanni contacted us via WhatsApp a few days before to arrange our arrival time & was very helpful letting us know where we were okay to park for free once we arrived in the city. He then met us with a warm smile & excellent information regarding the apartment, what to see in the area including details for a discounted boat trip & his recommendations to eat locally. Very nice apartment, comfortable bed, lovely shower & close to both Ortiga & the Neapolis Archaeological Park, also great photo art work on the walls, taken by Giovanni himself. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Just need a toothbrush holder please.

Nice room in a B&B rebuilt apartment, breakfast room around the corner, no problem apart from "losing time". Location very good as you can get there (at border of limited traffic zone) and walking distance to isola Ortigia. Owner gives a lot of tips, for me after the really long Etna tour, then a bit of beach and city walk and then checking-in, I couldn't "digest" so much information anymore. Sometimes less is more ;-)

If your guest mentiones the arrival time in the boking, but you ignore that, you cannot tell the guest "you just caught me in time, I was about to leave". You sent lots and lots of information, but didn't read the booking. I do not understand the saying "guests don't have a problem to find parking spaces", if you check in after 18.30 h or even later it is not that easy anymore to find a parking lot.

We loved everything about our stay at PhotoRooms B&B! It’s in a great location close to Ortigia island and also the ruins. It’s walking distance to both and the area feels very safe. The free parking on the street is also such a bonus as it’s not easy to find in that area. Giovanni is an amazing host and is absolutely lovely! He gave us some excellent recommendations including a delicious Sicilian restaurant where we actually ran into him. The room we had was super clean and comfortable. It’s been recently renovated and has been done very tastefully. The bathroom was also nice and spacious, particularly the shower. Thank you so much, Giovanni. We dream of coming back!

Definitely one of my best experiences traveling in Sicily. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. A good sized bathroom with a good shower. Very nice and caring owner. I felt like I was visiting a friend, not a hotel. The owner was kind enough to share advice and help with places to eat and places to visit. Very good and easy communication! Thank you for making my stay in Syracuse so enjoyable.

The breakfast was brought to our room and we ordered it. It wad abundant and excellent. Giovanni is a great host and the room is accessible through an elevator and enjoys a balcony with a table and chairs. The inside of the room/Bathroom is exceptionally finished to very high standards. One good thing is that the property is walking distance to Ortigia. Parking is available in the street, but for peach of mind, there is a surveilled Parking just a few meters ahead. Cleanliness was also perfect. Anyway we are frequent visitors to Sicily and we will certainly stay there. We loved it! Could'nt be better!

The owner was very hospitable and checked on us from time to time to make sure that our stay was smooth and comfortable. The bedroom and bathroom were both spacious and very clean. The mattress and pillows were brand new thus ensuring a good night's sleep after a day of exploration.

Everything was perfect.

Immaculate, high quality accomodation within a few minutes walking distance of bus and train stations. Equidistant to the main sights . Giovanni was the perfect host in every way. Clear instructions to find the accomodation. Ensured we had everything we could need for our stay. Guided us to the best of Siracusa sights and restaurants .

Giovanni could not be a better host. Seriously caring and the facilities and all were perfection. All the best Giovanni, your properties are sure to be successful if you continue this way. We felt safe, room was beautiful, clean, private and had all we needed. Syracuse is stunning. Pack a sun hat!

Giovanni has been incredibly friendly and helpful with our stay. As for the place itself, it was pleasant, super clean and off a good location for a 2 days stay (if you want to visit both the archeological place and the old city centre). If you have a car it is easy to park around the property and safe.

We would have liked to have a reception area and more amenities in the room that could have made our stay nicer. The soundproof was not ideal (we could hear the boiler/water tank from our next door neighbour when showering) It was not a super central place to stay but good enough if you are ok to do all the various sites on foot
