We had spacious, quiet rooms and it was lovely to enjoy a glass of wine on the balcony, before going out for the evening. The owner, Andrea, was very friendly and helped us with restaurant reservations, directions for the airport transfer taxi, Porter service etc.

The B&B is only accessible by foot from the main square so carrying luggage is a challenge, especially as there is a steep flight of stairs from the road down to the property, although a Porter service (with a tuk- tuk) is available for an extra charge.

Andréa and her helper were exceptional people. It's noticed the care that Andréa has with the installations and the experience of her guests. Good internet (my boyfriend worked from there), breakfast with high-quality products, the room's installations are new and modern, without losing the classic style. The view from the local was pretty amazing, and even in high season, we could feel the peace from Amalfi Coast. It wasn't a problem for us, but it's important to know that the access is by steps. Exceed the expectations.

We stayed in the large corner room (King Room with Sea View) and it was beautiful - bright, spacious and very clean. The wrap-around balcony had gorgeous views. I thought the bedroom and bathroom were a very high hotel standard, more than I expected from a small B&B. I also enjoyed the breakfast terrace and the sun lounger area with an outdoor shower for cooling off! Andrea was very kind and helpful, and we were able to request things like a clothing steamer ahead of a wedding we were attending - really appreciated!

The stairs in Ravello are a struggle - to reach the main square from the B&B you will have to walk up and then back down a long flight of stairs. This is not unique to this property though, everywhere in Ravello will have some level of steps. It's the price you have to pay for beautiful views!

Pictures are perfect no surprises and beautiful towel swans are great touch. The 2 rooms we stayed in were comfortable clean with wonderful views on the large verandas with 270 degree views of Ravello, Villa Cimbrone, Scala and the Sea! Double doors with vented outer doors are nice for cool nights sleeping quietly. Nice bathroom space and Andrea is an absolutely wonderful person and fabulous hostess! Kind and accommodating with all our requests for the wedding we attended and helpful with information about transfers and tips. Plenty of gluten-free options at breakfast on request. Fresh delicious coffes and cappuccino with fresh fruit, warm bakery pastries bread and European breakfast options. Winner winner...walking distance only minutes to center square transfers, attractions local shops and restaurants nearby. We didn't want to leave!

The one and only concern was considering the 65 stairs down and up.. Inquire about using luggage porter services if you have more than rucksacks to carry down. Stairs are well maintained and lights at night but are old.

The staff is excellent! They were friendly, helpful, and responsive. They kept the whole place very clean and tidy. The breakfast was a traditional Italian breakfast with pastries, fruit, cheese, and deli meat. They also had several to-go snack items, juice, water, and fresh-made coffee. It was a very quiet place to stay on vacation. We loved when the neighborhood cat would stop by to say hello. We enjoyed the lounge chairs and umbrellas out front to relax and enjoy the view.

It would be nice if they provided a porter service to carry your luggage up the many steps to get to and from the B&B. We got the room with the worst view of the side patio so make sure you book early and get the room with the best view! The mattress could've been a bit more comfortable. It would be nice if they had a small pool/tub.

My family and I had a lovely stay in Ravello at Nonno Francesco. Our host, Andrea, was very kind and helpful throughout our booking process and stay. They are a kind family who runs the B&B. Andrea made us cappuccinos for breakfast and had a nice spread of options to eat. Location is nice and quiet, just be aware there are stairs to arrive, so a little bit difficult if you have a large suitcase or any issues with stairs. All in all a very nice stay and pretty view of the ocean! Grazie mille!

Everything great! Just a little more difficult to access if anyone has a large suitcase.

Ravello is a magical place and this property was very nice. Andrea and the staff were amazing, very easy to communicate with. The shower was amazing with beautiful tile work. The balcony was perfect. And air-conditioning…perfect for July.

The room was a little small but workable. The steps to and from the property were a workout, lost 10 pounds!

Beautiful view. Gracious host who helped us even when we made some pretty serious tourist mistakes. Fresh fruit and delicious coffee was perfect every morning, and you just can’t beat the wonderful view and location. I hope to return to Ravello in the future and will only stay at Nonno Francesco!

We didn’t find anything not to like during our stay

The property is in close proximity to Villa Eva where we attended a wedding. And, it is a five minute walk to the the Ravello town center. The view from the bedrooms and the dining areas is spectacular. It’s a scenic and quiet setting away from the town square; definitely a calm retreat.

The stairs leading to the B&B from the pedestrian walk is a bit of a challenge with luggage. But, for a small fee, Andrea will easily arrange a porter to carry your luggage.

amazing views the room was clean and spacious. Andrea was wonderful so helpful with anything we needed. it is a bit of a hike to get to but worth every step and if you ask in advance Andrea will have them bring the luggage for you. the breakfast was great and she makes most of it herself! just a wonderful place to stay felt very homey and comfortable.
