UNAWAY Hotel Occhiobello

We just stopped here to have a good night sleep and then headed directly back to the autostrada. The hotel is close to the autostrada exit. It is in a relativelly quiet place, so it was perfect in this regard. The 24h reception was the thing, based on which we decided, that we want to go there. The stuff was nice. Although the elevator didn't work at the time, that wasn't a big of an issue. We didn't take breakfast, but there was a bar to grab some coffee. That was nice. The room was comfy and relatively spacious.

Nothing was really of an annoyance. Maybe the elevator, but such things happen.

The location - though admittedly, most visitors had cars. we stayed 5 nights, without a car, and struggled to get anywhere or find anything to do. A taxi to Ferrara cost 43 euros one way! we walked into occhiobello another day (in the rain) which wasn’t the easiest walk. No restaurant open for dinner on Sundays.

Breakfast is varied and plentiful. Great offer of fruit, cakes, cheeses and bread. There is a choice of different coffee and tea. Basically a great price for the breakfast offer, it is worth paying for the breakfast on the price of the bed. Large and free parking. In front of the Hotel is a charging station for Tesla cars.

We had nothing that could be used for a negative image of the hotel.

Standard room - nothing fancy but everything just the way i expect at this price level. Clean and tidy What's really good is the breakfast - much better than what I usually find at this price level. There is also a lobby, where you can get drinks at any time, and you can also walk around the hotel for bit of morning excersise

It's a good option for a one night stay, convenient location close to the motorway but nevertheless not loud. The breakfast was pretty decent.

The triple room was quite tight. The walls are pretty thin and we could hear other guests. I would also expect higher environmental consciousness as there are only plastic cups available in the bathroom.

Very friendly personel - nice and helpful:) We were impresed of restaurant - 2 bottles of water and other additives given for free before ordering, great Carbonara and Prosciutto with Buffalo mozarella. There is a big parking lot in front of the building, Tesla charger, you are able to rent e-bikes. The rooms are very clean and well equiped. Beds are very comfortable, bathroom was very big!!! The hotel deserves 10/10!!!

Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of sweet and savoury options, and staff very kind.

It would be nice to change the plastic facilities for the kids to play outside with a proper playground, but of course, I guess it can’t be a priority.

Great place for the purpose of just staying a night. Close to the highway, big parking lot, very friendly staff, comfortable bed, very clean room. Easy communication with reception.
