The position of the hotel is perfect for visiting all the beautiful sights of Noto. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast under the lime trees was lovely. An added bonus was a tour of the palazzo this morning which was once a museum and a lot of family history there.

Everything was excellent. Parking was not easy as the roads are very narrow and very busy but we managed to find a parking space about a five minute walk away. We were aware of the parking difficulties but would still have stayed at Il Giardino del Barocco

The garden - off which several of the rooms are arranged - is extra special, a tranquil oasis away from the (admittedly not terribly strenuous) bustle of Noto. Breakfast is served under the canopy of a mini-orchard of citrus trees, and gusts can chill out there at any time. Who needs a ‘wellness suite’? Staff are absolutely lovely and rooms clean and comfortable. And - icing on cake - the owner Giovanni gave me a tour of the main house, which has been in the family for generations and until recently was a museum- a glimpse into the old way of life of well-to-do citizens of Noto and a delightful surprise.

This was the best accommodation I've had yet after nearly 3 weeks in Italy! The room was clean and comfortable and right next to a beautiful courtyard with lemon trees. Additionally, the location is fantastic and right next to the main street. As a solo female traveler, I felt very safe. However, the best part about this stay is Giovani's hospitality. He was such a friendly and lovely host. He knew each guest by name and gave everyone a tour of his beautiful historic home that has been in his family for generations. Breakfast was also fantastic. I would highly, highly recommend if you're looking for a comfortable and authentic stay!

All staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The building and garden were both utterly amazing and our host gave us a very interesting tour of the property. It was situated in a fabulous position with just a minute of two's walk to the centre of Noto. I really recommend it.

I really enjoyed the tour of the building and had so many questions to ask. Maybe if we were offered a little longer to look over all the pieces and photos. But, I do understand that there are plenty of other things to do when running a hotel!!

The location is fantastic. Noto is a beautiful town, and Il Giardino is right by the historic center. Giovanni was extremely helpful with his advice on what to do in town and in the surrounding area. Additionally, the tour to the palazzo was really something. A very interesting building that has been in his family for centuries. Last, but not least, parking in the street is free and fairly easy (which is a plus when you're traveling by car, as we were)

A lovely place in a great location in Noto, quiet, spacious accommodation and with a welcome garden. Delicious breakfast much appreciated including fresh orange juice, fruit salad and baking. Enjoyed our tour through owners family home/ palazzo.

Only drawback was low water pressure in shower meant water flow minimal.

This is a beautiful little b&b in an historic home - you get a tour of the house if you stay there. The rooms are around a beautiful garden with lemon trees and beautiful flowers and lots of places to sit. The aroma from the plants was beautiful. Only a short staircase to get to thr courtyard. The host bent over backwards to make sure we had what we needed and to give us a breakfast to go when we left at 7AM to go to Vendecari. Short walk to all the attractions. Super easy to park for free.

We loved the breakfast and the tour of the palazzo that the owner gave us. it is wonderful that he is so proud of his family property and shares its history with his guests. He was also helpful in recommending restaurants and things to do. We also appreciated the roomy apartment we stayed in, as well as its good location.

The staircase leading up to the bedroom was somewhat treacherous, so we kept our bags on the main floor. The bathroom was also on the main floor, so getting to it in the middle of the night was scary. The bed also was right on the floor, which made it difficult to get into and out of, especially since we are no longer young. A little updating would help!

There are some Barocco style hotels in this town, but you should be very careful when you choose one, if it is a real barocco-era residence made to a hotel, or just a modernized hotel featuring barocco style interior. This family owned palazzo is a real and original palazzo, the grandmother of present owner lived here. Tiles on the floor, the wall decoration, not wallpaper, they are all original. When you eat breakfast here in the main ball room, you will realize you live in a real, original barocco palazzo of the time. Never forgettable experience of our life, guaranteed!

Breakfast in the garden was lovely each morning. The heritage of the building and the story shared with guests was really interesting. The room was spacious and comfortable and had good sound proofing so when the doors of my room were closed I had no trouble sleeping.

I was disappointed that I didnt get a garden room as advertised. My room opened right onto the street so I couldnt open my windows for fresh air.
