Hotel Gamma

This is a solid three-star hotel in Milan. Very clean and modern. The staff is friendly and professional. It is only a couple of minutes walk from the metro line that goes to the Central Station and to other important places in the city, so that you can move around easily in Milano from there. The breakfast is quite reasonable (recall that this is a three-star hotel, so you can't expect certain things).

The area of Milan is nothing special on its own. You're not "right in the middle of the action." But this is mitigated by the fact that it is well connected to the metro, and also trams and buses.

The hotel is in a good location very close to the train station and to a subway line. The room was spacious, very clean, at the windows there where very good blinds, the staff was very friendly, the room since it was January and quite cold was very warm. You had sockets next to your bed, the room was cleaned every day, the bathroom was clean. The breakfast was very good, eggs, bacon, grilled veggies, cheese, meats, yogurt, sweets, very plentiful

In some of the days the eggs didn't look that fine, they should have been better scrambled(you still had plenty of foods to choose from). In the bathroom the shower is very small and also the head of the shower was fixed not flexible. (It was still very good)

The place was clean and really close to Lambrate train station. I was there for a business trip and the hotel offered me everything I was looking for. Breakfast was good and with different options. Good value for money but don't expect a four star hotel on the seaside.

The breakfast coffee and cappuccino were not so good to be in Italy but that more of a problem of the machine they were using than of the hotel itself. My room was on the fist floor and the insulation was not great as I was hearing my neighbour talking on the phone. Probably they are going through renovation as the upper floor rooms don't look so nice. The tv in my room was one of the smallest I have ever seen.

The staff was very friendly and always there if you had any questions. The receptionist guy gave us some traveling tips and a map, it was very kind and pleasant 👍 Location is ok, not great not terrible. If you want to go to the city center, you can choose the metro, you will travel 5-6 stations. But if you will choose return with bus or tram prepare yourself with patient, you will travel 30-40 min.

The shower is very small but double 😬. If you are careful and you move with caution you will be able to take off the bubble bath without hitting the cabin walls.

Great breakfast, although they are strict on stopping it at 10am. Air conditioning included and isn't turned off during the day, very important in the middle of August. Fast and friendly check in. Good budget stay in Milan. Location is round the corner from the metro and close to the centre. Booked the night before stay with no problem. Booking.com rate was cheaper than ringing direct, which I tried.

Limited toiletries, small shower like others said, but manageable. Small lift and room was on 7th floor.

The bed was super comfortable, the pillows were so so but ok. Love the convenient location, friendly staff, clean facilities. Breakfast was nice :) I liked this place enough to book it twice.

The only real con for me was the tiny shower. It’s so small that it’s actually very hard to use. The floor is slippery and dangerous when using conditioner. I’m a pretty average size person (170cm/67kg) and I think if I were any taller or wider, it would be impossible to shower.

My husband and I loved our stay at Gamma Hotel. The staff is fantastic, kind, and helpful. The room was comfortable, very clean and with everything we needed. It can be a bit noisy due to the nearby train station, but we got used very quickly. The breakfast has a good variety and quality. The location is terrific, just a few meters from a metro station. We are definitely coming back!

We had for two nights noisy neighbors in the next-door room. Around 4/5 am they talked loudly, slammed doors, etc. So, the combination of thin walls and loud people was the only con for us.

The hotel met all expectations: the room was quite nice, clean and cozy; breakfast with mixed sort of options, good coffee and fruits available; bathroom was a bit small but nothing that I would complain of. Finally the location was awesome, near Politecnico di Milano (10 min walk) and Lambrate metro station (3 min away).

Internet horrible; unfortunately I had to use my phone as router and since I went from a different country I had to pay for internet in roaming state. Perhaps the hotel can offer a paid or special condition but I wasn't informed of it. So pay attention to it if staying for work.

Breakfast options was spot on. Close to the Lambrate FS station. Beds are big and comfy my only complain is that some of the sheets are a bit dusty. Other than that the place is good value for it's money. It might look like a dodgy neighbourhood but so far I have seen a good police presence and did not feel unsafe. Initially I did but it's a quick walk to the metro and exit to Via Carlo Valvassori Peroni to get to the hotel. It also has lift and luggage storage.

The facilities here are really modern and splendid, especially the shower! I was actually surprised to see how beautiful the room is as it was different to the picture prior to booking. For the price, it is definitely worth it. The breakfast also had a wide variety and the croissants were delicious. All in all, I’d recommend this hotel.

The location isn’t exactly the best. The people who hang out in the vicinity of the train station nearby aren’t exactly alien to Italy’s demographics, however, Italy really needs to do something about them as they seem to have nothing better to do than to stare at people walking passed them. Other than that, the hotel itself is wonderful.
