Hotel Broletto

Free mini bar in our room and free coffee available all day in the breakfast room. The Continental breakfast was good with great local pastries available. The staff were very friendly and helpful and reception was open for much longer hours than we'd come to expect in the smaller Italian hotels. There's a recent internal renovation and the hotel is very fresh and comfortable. We would happily stay there again.

Like much of Italy the hotel is surrounded by scaffolding, although there doesn't seem to be any work happening, and so we weren't comfortable leaving the windows open at night and had to run the air-conditioning when we would have preferred not to.

We were not able to control the heat in the bathroom. It was way too hot causing a subtropical feeling. We couldn't leave the windows open to cool off the room because of the surrounding street noise. If you don't mind loud noise until after midnight than don't worry but we generally go to bed at 10 so it was difficult for us.

The location was great for visiting historical sites, shopping, eating, people watching. The bed was very comfortable, rooms were very clean, the staff was really nice and the breakfast was a traditional Italian breakfast. We especially liked the access to a an espresso machine at any time as well as access to water. Loved the fact that there was an elevator.

Excellent location. Lovely, if small, junior suite with two balconies and a good sized bath. Complimentary mini bar. TV with sky box and Netflix. 24hr drinks, tea and coffee. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The ceiling radiator in our bathroom leaked throughout the visit. It dripped onto a light fitting and a wall-mounted electric hairdryer. The staff helpfully arranged same day maintenance and it stopped, but only temporarily. They committed to arranging further maintenance, but that inevitably fell outwith the duration of our stay.

We had a junior suite which had windows looking onto two adjoining streets which were full of atmosphere and charm. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The hotel is located at the heart of the Old historic town quite close to the Palazzo Ducale.

The shower in the bath was a little awkward leading me to spill water everywhere when used for the first time. All fine once I knew!

Situated in the very heart of Mantua, steps away from the Ducal Palace, the lake and all the sights. Our room was quite small , and bathroom too, but all was kept beautifully clean. The staff were extremely helpful in every way.

Good size room, clean and comfortable. Very helpful and friendly staff. Perfect position for what we where there for. The breakfast room was available all the time to make hot drinks. Very quiet and air conditioned. They kindly provided access to the freezer to store medicines.

The shower head 🚿 was fixed, which is not the best for me, but in fairness, I didn’t ask at the time of booking and it has a very strong flow, which was great. The shower dish is smooth, but you can ask reception for a shower mat, if that concerns you.

excellent location, central to everything … And would like to point out the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff: upon our arrival we were met by Nicole whose cheerful demeanor and friendliness immediately made us feel welcomed and at home. Check in was a breeze as was the processing of the ZTL pass needed for parking in the city center. She gave indications on parking and also restaurant choices … all in all a seres of conversation that surely helped us for the next 3 days. Angelo, who took over reception the next day was just as friendly and informative and we enjoyed chatting with him we’ll. We’ll definitely book Hotel Broletto again and we’ll definitely come back to visit this beautiful city.

it was all great, from location to cost/value and from functionality to staff it exceeded our expectations. side note: don’t be taken back by the hotel’s entrance door, inside is quite lovely.

Excellent room and fantastic location! Fabulous customer service and the room was incredibly clean and comfy, particularly the bathroom. I booked this room for my elderly parents and it was perfect, they were looked after so well by the kind receptionists and the hotel has a very convenient lift which was perfect for my parents.

The staff very friendly and welcoming ? Helpful on any request ? Even through a tex message ? Liked the position straight in front of the Piazza Sordello .

I wasn’t able to heat my Soya milk ? As if you had normal milk was already heated ? Probably only just needed a microwave oven ? But I’m the whole the breakfast is very good.

Great place if you want to be in the center of Mantua. Room was comfortable. Staff was very attentive and very helpful with all our questions. They suggested us a great dinner place. Everything is just around the corner. Parking was easy and they provided us with the LTE.

Hard to think of anything that we did not like in this hotel. Rooms can be bigger but once again this is the center of Mantua and houses were built like this before.
