it was close to the train station, great location in terms off arrival, getting to the hotel and leaving the city. the hotel was clean. the bathroom was small, but it wasn't a problem for us, since we didn't spend that much time in the room. also I had no other options in this price range in the city since I had to book a week before my stay in September, the whole city was booked. The hotel is in old historical building, pretty much like the rest of Florence, which was charming in a way. good to know that they have an elevator. they offered us breakfast for 8 euros per person till 10 am. since we didn't try the hotel's breakfast I won't be able to comment on that.

The location was excellent - a short walk distance from the main attractions. There’s paid parking provided if you’re traveling by car and the roam was really clean and spacious. We also appreciated the instructions on how to avoid the ZTL zones when traveling by car.

- The mattress on the bed had a dent in the middle and the pillows were not comfortable at all, which resulted in a sore back. - We were told that the price for renting a car space is 20-25 eur max when we made the reservation, but when we arrived they told us that the max price is 30 eur, so keep this in mind.

This is a 3 star well run small Hotel, as per my replies it met all of my requirements and the location for my business meetings was superb. Ideal for those wishing to visit Florence as a tourist and very convenient for the main railway station. Will definitely use again.

Although the main reception, lounge and breakfast dining areas are air conditioned the room was not, which when the temp's are hitting near to 40 c is an investment worth consideration - fully appreciate the cost element involved. No other negatives what so ever.

The hotel isn’t in the main tourist part of the City, but conveniently located near the main train station and was perfect for us, as offered parking facilities. The walk to main attractions wasn’t far at all and there were plenty of local restaurants to choose from. The room was clean and all staff were attentive and friendly.

The air conditioning could be better, but we did go during exceptionally hot period, so no real complaints!

Room was much smaller than the one featured on the website photos. Ensuite was exceptionally tiny (room 103) No kettle, cups, tea, coffee in the room though one was indicated on the website. Asked reception for these and they were provided. Too few power sockets in the room. None of this prevented our enjoyment

lovely hotel within 5 mins from train station lovely theme and really supportive staff - was more than happy to extend a further night. breakfast was basic but fitting hotel was closed for a bit in last day and needed to store luggage - was no issue and sorted somewhere close by to store luggage to allow me to visit sienna before travelling on to Naples in the night.

mosquitos - I was bitten alive over the few nights - managed to get a few of them (most I think) a mosquito plug thing maybe beneficial in the room.

We loved its central location in a safe part of town. surprisingly quiet overnight. The decor was an interesting mixture of well preserved historical and modern quirkiness which we really liked. The staff were good. it’s so close to the railway station and a very short walk to the old part of town, leather market, restaurants, cafes etc Rooms were clean, shower was great. Breakfast was good. room had a balcony, heater, TV

I got bitten by flying insects (not bedbugs!). frustratingly, they left my husband alone.

Next to train station. Allowed us to leave bags early.

Room had plenty of space. Location was excellent, close to train station, Firenze centro, places to eat, drink. Staff was very friendly and helpful, accommodating even after checkout - allowing us to wait in the lobby until our train departure time.

Only mild negative would be drainin the sink was a little backed up.

Lovely property close to station and easy walking to all attractions. Restaurants in abundance close by. Wonderful staff who really take of you. I was very unwell during my stay and the assistance I received from all the staff was first class. Fabulous breakfast too!! Highly recommend Hotel Vasari !
