Hotel Duomo Cremona

- polite staff - excellent location (the best possible in Cremona) - quite modern room, comfortable bed, good linens - excellent breakfast (but not buffet)

- very small room (we asked to change our initial room, facing to the street, because of the noise, with one facing the inner courtyard; the one facing the front seemed a bit bigger) - bathroom separated from the room with glass: the worst possible "invention", also found in other hotels; a piece of crap - the elevator was not working

The location could not be improved. So close to the Duomo. A very spacious and elegant dining area where we ate a delicious lunch with excellent and reasonably priced wine on our arrival. A fascinatingly designed ensuite bathroom through which you had to pass to access the balcony. Surprisingly it worked very well and produced a spacious area housing a powerful walk in rain shower. A very comfortable bed, with great linens, and air conditioning which coped well with an extreme heatwave. All this and pleasant, polite and accommodating staff as well. We really regret that a three night stay was truncated to one by an Easyjet flight cancellation due to cabin crew going on strike.

Absolutely nothing!

Welcoming staff. Perfect location next to the old central square. Modern interior. Lively restaurant with tables on the street. You feel as if you in the centre of things.

The room was small, but the price was good! No car parking, but it's a 5 minute walk from the central underground carpark. The hotel is in a pedestrian street with cafes, some people may prefer a quieter location.

The location was fantastic, so close to the Chiesa Cattedrale and Museo del Violino. The restaurant for the hotel was very good for both supper and breakfast. The only thing was that my room was at the front, so it was a bit loud because of people at the restaurant patio, this wasn’t a problem for others in my family who had a different room.

Windows in my room weren’t soundproof enough.

Exceptional location near the Duomo, very helpful staff, good breakfast with quick table service (not buffet). Nice and modern bathroom. Free slippers were really appreciated.

The lift sows its age (it is VERY siow) and some of the fixtures like for instance the rugs in the restaurant. Nothing that really matters actually...

Very friendly staff!! The location was right in the center of the city of Cremona. The surrounding was nice. The small cafes and restaurants were next to the hotel where evenings were full of young people enjoying there time with big variety of drinks. The Duomo Cremona was in a 1 min walking distance away. In 3 min you could reach the Museum of Stradivari. The city Parking was also 2-3 min away from the Hotel.

A bit disappointed in the breakfast. Although in the reviews I read that the breakfast is very nice I experienced the opposite. Instead of Buffet Breakfast we were offered only few things to eat. As I was told it was because Covid 😷.

The superb location near to the cathedral, town hall and piazzas. To be able to have outside dining at a table just below our window, yet in a historic, pedestrian street was magical.

Rather limited toiletries (despite glowing marketing description) and difficulty of getting liquid soap from the dispenser. Confusing translation of the breakfast menu (the food, however, was good).

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was modern, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good with waiter service and several options, and we also had an enjoyable evening meal in the restaurant. The location is very central, just off the main square.

The breakfast was delicious! It was nice that the staff waited for us in the first day (we were late) and still served us after closing time. The room itself has a nice open shower, and the bed was comfy.

On weekends it is very loud. You can hear the people outside the restaurant on the street, and the noises in the hallways echo through the rooms. The doors have a old lock and key mechanism that makes a lot of noise to open/close the doors.

Breakfast was very very good. Location wise is unbeatable.

We were on the third floor and there's only a tiny, extremely slow and often busy elevator. I ended up walking up and down the stairs a lot to save time. I would have liked to have a mini fridge in the room to store milk for the baby.
