Simply amazing ! I cannot express how pleasant my stay has been, Fabio has gone above and beyond to make sure we were the most comfortable possible. Stayed one night with my wife for her bday and they decorated it for no extra charge with petals and a ‘I Love You’ message which contributed to a 10/10 experience. LOCATION is 10/10, you’re less than 10 mins walk away from the Via Etnea which is basically not only the centre but the heart of it. The place is EXTREMELY CLEAN, as you go in you can smell the a light detergent breeze all around the house, so that’s another 10/10 I could go on and on but to sum it up, Fabio (the owner) is a really kind man, that made my stay really special. Will definitely be back !

I did not stay long enough !

It is a hidden gem. We had to book a place really fast because the airport caught fire and we had to stay in Catania for 2 days. It turned out to be the best place I have booked so far. The room itself and the rest of the common spaces were always super clean and shiny. We got welcomed like family, all of the personnel was extremely helpful. What amazed me the most was the effort and the money spent behind this restoration of the rooms which shows how serious and professional the owner is. Attention to detail on everything. Much respect, that is the place to be in Catania for sure.

Nothing negative at all.

The location is great, very close to the bus station and walking distance to the city’s attractions (approx 15 mins). The whole place is very clean, well maintained and has everything you might possibly need. The owner is very nice and polite, even though he doesn’t speak english we managed to understand each other easily. I’d recommend it.

The only thing that I’d mention is the very thin walls. A woman was screaming, probably having an argument, at 7 am and woke us up, also you can hear almost anything from outside like traffic noice or people shouting. If you are not a light sleeper this won’t be a problem.

The room was large and both beds quite comfortable. Overall the building was quiet and our unit was not facing the street so there were no noise complaints until our final night where other guests were being loud until approximately 4am but nothing to fault the building for. The kitchen was also large and well-equipped for cooking. The breakfast was adequate and the balcony was nice to drink coffee on in the morning. The location seemed good enough, close to the main bus station and square although the neighbourhood was quite dirty. Overall this place was great and we would definitely recommend it if you’re in Catania

Our shower head didn’t work which they obviously knew about as the took the handle off so we couldn’t use it, leaving us with the handheld head which was very difficult to use. It also did not drain properly nor was the tub sealed properly so you were immediately standing in a pool and it was able to flow out easily. I imagine this is a fairly easy fix and will be resolved prior to future guests arriving! The pillows were very uncomfortable.

The B&B is super convenient to the train station and also close the main/touristic areas (10-15 minutes walking). After a minor issue with check in (no one was there when we arrived but came as quick as they could when we sent them a message), we had a great stay. Really nice, modern room, super nice bathroom, comfortable bed. Had some things in the fridge for us upon check in including yogurts/pastries that were restocked daily for our breakfast. They also allowed us for a later checkout when we had an afternoon train. All-in-all it was a really good stay and we'd definitely come back.

The wifi connection was fast (worked great in the common area) but we did find it sometimes lost connection in our room and we often had to keep our door open to get it to connect, we were the farthest room from the router. A wifi extended at the end of the hallway could help with that.

Location is very convenient, between bus/train station and downtown. Apartment is small but cozy and clean.

It would be nice to have fresh bread with the breakfast

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean, the location was great, at a 10 min walk distance to the city centre or the train station.

The correct address is not specified on the booking site, we found the building based on a photo on the site. For those interested, B&B Stella is on Via Antonino di Sangiuliano, no. 36.

it was very clean, the first 4 days one lady was cleaning and she was exceptional ! not even in expensive hotels you see this kind of cleaning and folding clothes in to the wardrobes, everything super clean and stored on its place, I need this lady at home :D also the manager of the property was very helpful together with the owner of the b&b, staff really 100% nice. also the room was nice with good air condition, good kitchen where we cooked some pasta and a balcony. perfect location close to the centre and the station bus/train - easy for the day trips.

breakfast was a little bit poorer that’s why two points have to go down even if it was refilled every day but we really prefer to have non packaged breakfast :/

Nice and clean room, quiet place despite the busy location. Close to the train station and bus terminal and not far from the city centre. Caffe in the kitchen. Air condition.

Communication - a lot of automatic and confusing emails before and after our stay. Not possible to communicate in English, but the owner was able to manage it through translator. Only Italian sweat breakfest - joghurt, artificial croissants and bisquits, no cheese or ham - it should be described better in the description.

We enjoyed our time at B&B Stella! The staff was very professional and were very kind and quick in helping ous, when we forgot the house key in our room. The room was nice and clean. Very spacious and surprisingly quiet for its central location. Location is great to explore the downtown area. It took us about 6 mins to walk to the cathedral. From the train station it is a 5-8 min walk, and to the bus stations about 10min. Great location Will definitely recommend to any friends and family.
