HC3 Hotel

The hotel staff was accommodating and allowed check-in 2h early since we were with a toddler, and they were very friendly in general. The room was ok, not as large as some other guests here mentioned, but since we only stayed one night it was fine. Free breakfast was pretty good and they serve fresh-made cappuccino if you ask (not the one from the coffee machine, eve though that one isn't bad either).

The room could use a touch-up. It was clean and all, just a bit aged. We used Uber to get to the city center (around 20€) since it'd be a roughly 1h walk with a toddler.

Helpful personnel & clean, quiet rooms. The location is very good, as it is not directly in the city center, but quickly & easily reached via bus. A bus stop of a line that can take you to the main train station, as well as old town is almost directly by the hotel. A supermarket is also nearby at walking distance.

More variety with breakfast options would be appreciated.

I highly recommend the HC3 Hotel in Bologna for your next stay. During my visit, I had an incident where I left my iPad in the room, and the hotel staff went above and beyond to promptly send it back to me, covering all the expenses. The customer service was excellent, and they offered complimentary coffee, tea and snacks throughout the day. The rooms were immaculately clean, and Bologna as a city is truly beautiful, making it an ideal destination for your trip.

It was very clean, fresh and white blankets. The bathroom was big and you really had enough space. The stuff was friendly, helpful and spoke English. The breakfast was really great, fresh and tasty. The location was also amazing, close to the bus stop, which took you to the city center. There was a pizza place very close to the hotel,with an amazing pizza. The hotel also offered a free drive from the airport to the hotel with an very exclusive Mercedes car. It was very compofartable. Overall I was very satisfied and recommend it.

In the room I missed the shoe-horn and there were no slippers, which is in a 4 star hotel expected. Except of that I could hear whenever someone was walking on the floor outside of the room. I would say it was a bit noisy. Also there was a coffee machine, but you can use it only after 6:15am until midnight. We had an early flight and a coffee would have been amazing before leaving the place. Except of those it was really great.

The room was comfortable, and big enough with a small desk for working, the bed was big. There was a tiny fridge with beverages that I used for fresh fruits I bought in the local markets. The bathroom facilities were great! The breakfast was very complete, with many options to chose from. Fruits, eggs, natural yogurt were there if you are worried with health. There is some place for working if you prefer to do some work outside your room. There is a small gym, with few equipment but was enough for me to stay active during my short stay of 1 week. The employees were exeptional, super friendly and ready to assist you. The location was perfect for me, 10 min away from the venue of my meeting, 7 min away from the airport. It is localized in a very nice and quiet neighborhood, there is a nice restaurant 1 minute away from the hotel. You can reach downtown by bus (2 eu, you pay with coins), or you can rent one of those motor bikes through an app, or by foot (like 45 minutes, a very nice walk).

Sleeping late was difficult because it gets really noisy at the morning with the cleanning (vacuum cleaner, employees talking, etc.) in the other rooms or aisle.

Everything was clean. The cleaning staff did an excellent job every day. I liked the rules about towels -- the towel was changed on request (putting it in the sink) in order to avoid excessive washing.

The plastic cups looked cheap compared to the rest of the hotel. I think providing standard glasses would give a better impression and also reduce plastic waste.

Location. Not far from center with free parking and a bus station (11c) just there. 24/24 desk and staff very helpful. Breakfast included & just near the hotel nice restaurant & pizzeria. Excellent for travellers like us how didn't wish to get to town with the car and needed free parking and public transportation ( you can buy ticket with coins on the bus)

Breakfast is a bit simple for Italy, but enough good for a day start. A/C stops automatically from time to time. Enoying during hot night

Staff are really caring and mindful they made sure the room we reserved is baby friendly and my daughter loved it .. good option for instant food round the clock coffee food warming etc Breakfast staff are so jovial and friendly they always made sure that we have a good time.

Missing just a restaurant

The room was ok. The bathroom was standard had room in the to move about. Bed was comfy.

The breakfast does not include a hot breakfast, the only things they serve was pastries, continental breakfast, like cold meats and cheese, some cereal, yoghurt and fruit. So was a little disappointed in this area. The location of the hotel was alot further from the train station than we thought. Which I didn't expect.

The reception staff was super helpful and nice. The breakfast had plenty of choices. The rooms were cleaned daily and we had complimentary tea and coffee at our disposal. Transportation wise: it is at 10 minutes by car from the airport and there is a bus stop a few steps from the hotel that can take you to the city center. The neighborhood is quite lovely and quiet with a nice Chinese restaurant a few minutes.
