Best Western Plus Tower Hotel Bologna

Spacious rooms with comfortable beds. Very modern, well-equipped bathroom. Breakfast, only 6 euros per person. Free bottles of water in the fridge. Location - we used public transport, bus no. 14 goes directly to Piazza Maggiore. A big supermarket just opposite the street.

The reception area. I did not like the interior design but it is a matter of taste and has nothing to do with the service the hotel offers.

The room was big and clean, with a very pretty view towards the city and surrounding areas (we stayed at the 17th floor, on the side with even room numbers). The bathroom was also spacious, clean, the towels were changed every day. The staff was friendly and polite. The location is a bit far from the town, but you have 2 bus stations very close, at aprox 10 minutes walk from the hotel. Also, right across the hotel there is a supermarket with a lot of good products.

Breakfast was fine, but repetitive and few warm choices. The dessert part was the strong point, there were a lot of choices, but again, repetitive. The least enjoyable part was the AC/heating system. You can't change the temperature, it is preseted at a certain temp, and the last days of our trip were very rainy and cold and in the room we couldn't have more than 20 degrees celsius. Also, there is a lot of dust coming out from the vents, you can see it on the ceiling.

What stood out for us was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Full marks for that! The room was large and bright, the bed was comfortable, and everything was spotless. A comfortable chair in the room would have been a nice addition, although that is only a suggestion. I’m sure that you have them in the more expensive rooms. Thank you for a very nice stay.

Our main complaint relates to the time we had to wait for a lift from the eleventh floor. In fact we ended up taking the stairs on our first morning. Not the best for someone with arthritis, - my knees are still recovering. Subsequently we chose to go downstairs at an earlier time to avoid the crowds, but I do think that this is something which needs to be addressed. Having two operating lifts, each carrying four people, in a hotel of this size, is an issue. Perhaps customers could be warned about this from the outset, and anyone with mobility difficulties could be offered a room on a much lower floor?

We stayed very well here on our 4 days trip. Good located for car access, big parking with no fee. We had a room for 4, 2 adults and 2 big children. The room setup was very good for us as it had a separate dormitory with a king sized bed, while the children had to big single beds in the main room. We had a room at the 13th floor with view to the city, exceptional! The rooms were very big, enough room for everything, warm inside. The breakfast was ok, not wow but fairly good. The staff was very ok.

To be improved - the cleaning in the rooms should include also the under-beds, as under the kids' bed there were chocolate boxes and a shampoo container / the breakfast may enlarge its product offer, especially the vegetables part. Also, a little detail to work on, the scrambled eggs were finished when we arrived, we were told that they would refill it immediately but the refill came 20 min later, when we left

Room Fine but compared to previous stays not so; Breakfast was a little different to normal English Breakfast but reasonably acceptable and filling. Bed very comfy. Issue with TV as no English channel for news or anything else. The CNN did not work and Sky was unavailable for news. The lift doors were very quick to shut and caused some discomfort to my wife for the rest of her stay at the hotel, as it hit her elbow. But nothing to pursue in that sense.

This hotel feels like the executive hotels from the 90' in a good day. It's grand and tall and very business feeling. Big rooms and big hallways a very big bathroom. Good breakfast and varied, especially good for people that don't want to have any surprises with local cuisine.

It's a bit far from anything, it's almost out of the city. The bathroom being so big it's taking a long time to get warm so if you want a warm steamy shower you either will wait a bit or not get it. Also the rooms being so big they won't get as warm as some might like but that is just down to preference.

We (2 adults and a (10-year-old girl) spent one night in the hotel, disrupting our way to Tuscany, to visit the town. The hotel is perfectly positioned, a few hundred meters from the highway. Public transport facilities are easily available, we caught the bus 14 to downtown (15 minutes). The hotel's interior has been face-lifted and is much more up-to-date as we anticipated on the basis of its outlook. Our family room on the third floor was clean, spacious, comfortable, and perfectly air-conditioned. All of the windows were darkened to block the view to the opposite wall of the building and a significant number of pigeons and their products on a horizontal part of the structure next to our room. Due to the extremely hot weather, we didn't mind this at all. Breakfast is ok, a great variety of hot meals (scrambled eggs, etc.), vegetables, cakes, and beverages were available. The staff was kind and helpful. Parking is free, and a lot of places are available. The garage is optional for an extra fee.

The bathtub is really slippery, a kind of a non-slipping device, the material should be useful.

Comfortable mattress and bedding! Big room, bathroom has a big bath. There is WiFi, minifridge and free parking. We had an issue with something in the room and the staff quickly arrived and fixed it. No nonsense, comfortable place where you can just relax. Has views of the hills. Big supermarket next door

Might be far from the center, but I saw a station nearby, and also in Bologna you get charged for driving your car in the centre (?) so if you don't want to get a fine this hotel is a great option.

The room was big, clean, the beds were comfortable, the personnel was great, very polite, very helpful, very friendly. The breakfast was very good and at an excellent price. Hotel is close to the highway and about 20 min by bus from the city center.

Didn't bother me, but the carpet is a bit worn out and it looks like it's been a while since the rooms have been renovated. However, everything was working fine and it was clean, so that was just a minor detail.

I liked that the familial bedroom is in reality 2 separate bedrooms :-) so if you don't want your kids to bother you, it is perfect. Though, you will need to go through their bedroom to go to the bathroom. Nice breakfast on the first floor. You can go downtow with a bus, close to the hotel, if you have the City Mapper app, very easy.

some of the furniture looked a bit old and not super clean, but it does not really matter. The room was very comfortable.
