NH Ancona

Nice hotel, clean with very friendly personnel. It is located up in a hill with a view looking at the Harbor. Near the city center, the place is ideal for a short stay in Ancona before taking the ferry. I will certainly stay again! Nice and complete breakfast with all standard things available. And an excellent Italian coffee!

Maybe a better quality of the towels, at least the one set we had was rather used and probably towards the limit of replacement.

I like the staff. they were very nice and very helpful. I liked the location as well. it was close to the train station and close to city centre.

I did not like the huge hill that leads to the hotel. of course this is something that can never be changed but it was a pain claiming the hill every time we came back to the hotel. furthermore, the hotel did not look like a 4 star hotel.. you could tell it was old

The staff was very nice and accomodabile.

I had assumed that we would be able to sleep three in a two person room with the addition of a cot, as seen in photos on booking.com. We had to end up booking a whole separate room to accommodate us, which was undesirable, seeing as though it would have been preferable and more accomodabile to us if the confusion presented in the pictures online were clarified from the get-go.

Third time we spend a night in this hotel. The location is very convenient for us, as we have to catch the ferry the next day. Also is a sort walk from the city center. The room was spacious and clean. Very good buffet breakfast with fresh ingredients. Parking in the front area without extra or hidden charges! Helpful and very polite staff.

On arrival from Patras ferry this hotel was in a good location. The lovely man on reception checked us in and also arranged for a bottle of wine for us to purchase due to the bar being closed, we sat overlooking the ferry port enjoying our glass of chianti.

Sadly the restaurant was not open on the day we stayed but local ones were.

door keys , lack of gym and window shutter system was falling apart .the absolute worst is paying for parking but it’s unprotected- that’s a bit annoying .

Close to port, clean and big room with great sea view. We even got little biscuits and a welcoming message as a gift.

Located uphill, tough to walk up with luggage, better to grab a taxi unless you would like a really tough exercise!

Nice and old hotel. A lot of real wood was used as building material,which we liked. Very good breakfast Buffet and friendly staff.

The room doors are not soundproof at all and there was a lot of white dust below the bed.

Friendly Staff, great location, bright and large dining area, great view of the city, great breakfast !

Renovation is needed in the room we stayed in. Some paintings on some furnitures or walls would be nice

Beautiful location on the base of the hill to the city center and on walking distance to the checkin-offices for the boats to Kroatia. Ancona is a surprisingly enjoyable city with great views and very beautiful beaches to south and north.

The room was on level -2 and there was nog view to speak of.
