Very helpful and friendly staff. Hospitable service at reception which stays opened 24 hours per day (excellent for late check in). Very good communication via Bookings.com app's messaging: hotel's assistant replied straight away and I got all required clarification about my reservation. Available sweet and/or savory food at breakfast buffet.

Hotel Angedras was the perfect base for our time in Alghero. We stayed for 6 nights and hired a car to explore the area as well as Alghero itself. The hotel is a little bit out of the old town, but it was perfect for always having somewhere to park and easily coming and going. At first I was worried we were a bit too far out of the main part of town, however by the end of the stay we’d found some terrific, more local places to eat and drink around the hotel. The walk into the old town along the promenade is very pleasant. We also appreciated the simplicity of the room - it was spacious and comfortable with great aircon, exactly what you want to come back to after a day hiking or at the beach. The staff were all lovely and the breakfast was great too.

The walls between rooms seemed to be pretty thin, and the balconies are very close together so if you have the doors open you’ll also get noise from other rooms. This wasn’t a major downside. The area is quiet and with a 24 hour reception we knew that if there was one particularly noisy room we could raise it with the hotel staff.

Stefania checked us in when we arrived around 4pm. She was lovely and welcoming. Since it was our first time in Sardinia, she took her time to suggest things to do and places to eat. Though it was only 1 night , we enjoyed our stay and much had to do with her inviting welcome to Alghero and to Sardinia. The light breakfast offered , complimentary, was a nice touch .

Curtains to the doors to the small balcony in the room were light colour. It did not block out street lights nor sunlight. Makes it hard to sleep. Bed was a little firmer than expected

Nice location outside the centre if you don't mind the 15-minute seafront walk. Roomy room with access to a small balcony. Easy parking (in low season anyway).

The staff are a bit too friendly (i.e. a bit exaggerated). Breakfast is disappointing, with far too many items in single-use plastic (and who actually enjoys tasteless, industrial-style jams?), plus really awful coffee from the coffee machine. It's about time hotels faced up to their responsibilities to the environment and our planet in the 21st century. And poor coffee in Italy is a deal-breaker.

This was the perfect location for Alghero - in a quiet neighborhood and an easy walk to the city center. Parking was always available near the hotel. The balcony with table and chairs was great. There are many restaurants nearby. The staff members were kind and gave us good information about places to visit in Sardegna. The room was comfortable.

The breakfast was good but the space where the food was laid out was crowded at times. Many times, there was line to get caffè’. A more efficient layout might be considered.

I loved this hotel so much. It is not flashy or overly luxurious—just the right amount of comfort and care. The breakfast was superb! It was a simple yet delicious selection of fruit, pastries, meat/cheese, and beverages (coffee, tea, juice) laid out every morning with care. The staff was unbelievably kind and supportive. The room was impeccably clean and very comfortable. The bathroom had plenty of towels, the a/c was working perfectly, and the room was decently spacious. The lobby was very welcoming. I felt at home here.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms, quiet neighborhood. Limited spaces for underground car parking but free parking available on a road. 10-15 minutes walk to old town restaurants, bars, harbour. Delicious food at breakfast buffet (milk/cereals/yogurt, toast, sliced pepperoni/prosciutto, boiled eggs, juice, coffee, cakes, fruits, cookies, croissants, etc.)

Didn't like a loud failing extractor fan in a bathroom. Got a room on a ground floor which had no balcony, it's doors were opening directly to hotel's common terrace - no privacy. However it wasn't too bad since the terrace was not in use during this quiet tourism period.

Really liked the welcoming hostess, unfortunatelly did not learn her name, who really helped us with the choice of restaurants, as well as with two glasses for our after-dinner tasting of a good local wine, and a bottle opener ;) nicelly designed hotel, really simple, minimalistic, with own parking. Good breakfast, including quite a variety of cakes.

Probably the only thing we missed was a kettle to prepare a tea or coffee in the room, but no real problem.

Seems like a family run hotel. Very pleasant staff, very clean and nice room with good size balcony. Good and varied choice of food for breakfast which you can eat on a lovely balcony/ veranda area. Staff member 'Laura' star of the breakfast experience with 'Ariana' shining behind the front desk. Short scenic walk down to the seafront. Seems very popular with cyclists also.

Hard to criticise, it is what it says in the brochure.

Great breakfast with fresh croissants lots of variety and high quality - very professional staff , a very well run hotel! very pleasant - quiet safe residential neighborhood - we could always find a parking place ! Fridge in the room -

A bit of a walk into town but you can walk almost the whole way overlooking the sea on a pedestrian path - would have liked an electric water kettle in the room
