Exceptional view of the lake and Castelgandolfo. Private gated parking. Spacious grounds with wonderful settings to enjoy the lake view. Dining inside or outside. The waiter/maitre d' was friendly and helpful with food and wine recommendations.

The restaurant was a bit spotty. My first dinner there was excellent. My second dinner was not. I ordered tagliata with artichokes. The meat was tough and the artichokes seemed to just be some leaves, several of which were so tough and stringy that I had to spit it out into my napkin. Check-in was strange. A young lady showed me to my room. I asked if it was possible to get a snack and a drink - an apertivo. She dashed off to find out without showing me the room such as the climate control, light switches, and especially how to work those patio doors, etc. I also never heard back from her about the apertivo.

Only one thing that I didn't like. I'm 1,90m tall (6 feet for those using ancient units of measurement). My room was on the 4th floor and the ceiling has an incline, measuring a little more than 2 meters on its highest part and no more than 1.3 meters on it's shortest area. This was really uncomfortable for me as I had to go around crouching and shower myself in a very awkward position. They should take guests height into consideration before assigning the rooms as this can be a major problem for some, specially for the elders as I'm 30 and this really bothered my spine.

The hotel is located in a quiet area. The place is very well kept and has a great view to the lake. It is peaceful and relaxing. The breakfast was good and the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms was big and comfortable.

There was nothing I did not like. The only thing that disturbed me was that the classical room did not have a window. But it opened onto the patio and that was good.

Understated elegance. State of the art interior. Quiet and beautiful environment. Lovely garden with beautiful view. Welcoming and friendly staff.

We had problems with the low ceilings in our rooftop room constantly banging our heads into same. We should have appreciated a restaurant on the premises - yet again we were recommended a very lovely local restaurant at a small nearby village, but it requires a car to get there. PS if they added an infinity pool this place really be a dream to stay at. But we were happy anyhow.

Location of the hotel in the mountain was just fantastic. Great relaxing atmosphere. Clean and big room with a nice roof window. View of the lake Albano is just stunning. Dinner in the evening was great value for money. Secure parking. This is a Hotel different from then main stream in all positive way

It was so peaceful place, amazing wiew from room. Room was clean, bed so comfortable, breakfast fantastic and staff so helpful, if you need help with transport or something ,reception staff very helpful. So thank you for them

If you don't have transport lit bit everything is far, and get taxi not easybut in reception you can ask and they organised for you

The restaurant was amazing

The ceiling in the attic rooms are very low, we bumped our heads multiple times. It was very cute though, we felt like giants.

the property was beautiful in a beautiful area . our view in the morning was stunning! the hotel is stunning and very friendly.

loved everything . if I had to pick something it was there was no pots of milk or coffee in the room . but that was the only thing.

the restaurant was closed and we did not about it when booked, so then we had to go to another places to eat, but it is not possible to go by foot there, so we had to rent a car or used a very expensive taxi 40€ to restaurant and back.

Excellent location away from the heat and crowds of Rome City. We were not visiting Rome City on this occasion but in future I would consider this as it is a 20 minute train Journey to Rome termini

This really is only a bed and breakfast hotel. The staff went out of their way to get us coffee in the evening but that was about it
