This B&B was absolutely lovely. From the moment I arrived, the hostess was so kind and helpful, but without being overbearing. She was readily available and made sure to do all she could to ensure my comfort, but she wasn't constantly checking in. The room was well appointed and very clean. The hostess warned me that it might get a bit noisy because my room faced the street, but I didn't find the noise to be disturbing in the least, and my sleep wasn't impacted in the least (though I am a very deep sleeper, so I may not be the best judge). The bed was quite possibly one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on. The breakfast was delicious and had lots of options. I was only here for one night, but I wish I could have stayed longer! I truly have endless good things to say, and I can't think of anything I didn't like!

The proprietress was very friendly and helpful without being intrusive. The room was clean and of adequate size for one person, but may be a bit tight for two. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was more or less made to order and delicious. The location, while in the suburbs of Dublin, was very convenient to get into the city center via the bus and DART, and very quiet and pleasant.

Not a big deal, but a full length mirror, perhaps behind the room door, would have been nice.

We had only stayed one night here, but I wished I could have stayed all week .The beds were so comfortable, and although the room was small, it had everything we needed ..The breakfast was beautiful with a range of choice .The hostess was really friendly and helpful.,and the house itself is beautiful 😍

We were in an attic room and had to go up three flights of stairs, and I do have issues with walking downstairs, as does my husband, but that' was the only downside .

BREAKFST was the best made for our short stay compared to everywhere else during our 12 day trip. The owner even prepared a takeaway breakfast / lunch for our early morning departure. The home is beautifully filled with original art from family and local artists. There is NO need to hire a car, buses and the DART are a short walk. There is a nice park and beach at the end of the block. Each night there were treats and small glasses of Baileys in our room. Water pressure and temperature were perfect. We scored the top loft complete with skylight. There is little to no traffic noise and the house is always quiet. There is a fine dining restaurant, a grand Irish Pub, Beer Garden, and quick pizza place with 3 minute walk. And for all Americans needing to get a "Certified negative COVID" before Uncle Sam will allow you to come home there is Chemist just 6 minute away by foot.

This is a private home, and you should not expect a lift / elevator; but how often does one need to dash between floors. They will bring you cases upstairs for you. We had a lovely loft with an excellent bed and private bath. Though I did hit my shin twice on the bed frame while navigating my way to the toilet in the dark.

Jacquie is a lovely person. We had a perfect welcome and felt so good that we didn't want to leave. The house is beautiful and very comfortable. We had an amazing breakfast every morning. We even got a little attention when we came back on the first night (a glass of Bailey's). Blackrock is a beautiful little town, it's quiet. The B&B is within walking distance of the beach/sea, the park and the train station to central Dublin (10 minutes). We know where to stay when we'll come back to Dublin. Thank you again for the wonderful welcome, for the valuable advice, thank you for everything!

Absolutely incredible experience from beginning to end! Jerry went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home. The house itself is stunning and immaculate— a perfect balance of old world architecture and modern amenities. Our room and private bath were beautifully adorned and clean, and small details like our room’s skeleton key added to the charm of staying at Blackrock. The highlight of our stay was Jerry’s warm welcome and conversation, and the out-of-this-world breakfast he made for us in the morning.

A perfect stay. There are very few places to stay in the area, and I couldn't find anywhere closer to my friends in Monkstown, but it didn't matter at all. The B&B was both minutes from the DART and the buses running between Monkstown and Dublin city centre so I could easily navigate in either direction to meet up. The room itself was a delight (I was top, right) with everything thought of. Fantastic shower, posh toiletries (meaning I could bring carry-on luggage only on the flight), coffee and biscuits, water on the nightstand, hairdryer, plugs etc, plus a bed so comfy I didn't want to leave. It was exactly what I needed. Not only that but the house is stunning - I was expecting something far more low key - and the owners are very pleasant. If ever I'm in the area again I would definitely stay here. Thank you.

Nothing.

The room was large and comfortable with plenty of storage space. When I arrived late evening, I greatly appreciated the sandwich and a serving of Bailey's Irish cream. Breakfast was wonderful. I ate like a queen. I was pleasantly surprised at the convenience of the Air coach transportation which cost 16 Euros round trip. The location was nice for walking around the park and sea.

The accommodation is on a busy street and there is a bit of traffic noise in the morning.

The owners are the most helpful and kind hosts that I have ever met. The quality of room service is simply exceptional. Breakfast, in a friendly atmosphere with fresh, varied and Irish food makes the stay amazing. The check in and out process very swift and flexible - absolutely fantastic. Strongly recommended!

This is, by far, one of the best places I have been. The place is in the heart of Dublin 15 minutes from the city center, in a very quiet area. the owners are among the kindest and warmest people I have ever met, they even allowed us to stay in their living room, playing the piano and provided us with amazing breakfast full of anything one could imagine. The house is friendly and is an old but fully renovated building, which is so nice that you want to stay there forever. I felt like home, the place was always clean and the owners so incredibly kind.

I have nothing negative to say.
