Cozy Cottages Lombok

Compact 5-cottage property, very neat and well kept. The room size was just right for us (family of 3) and had everything we need. bathroom size perfect w/ hot shower and water pressure was sufficient. Pool was simple but clean, nice to take a dip in after a day's excursion. I also liked that we could arrange airport pick up and transfer w/ the facility. Staff also very nice and helpful, and we made use of their laundry service. Breakfast is OK. Overall, I'm very happy with my choice.

Pillows could be better. They're fluffy when touched but strangely didnt provide even support when slept on.

We came from Gili Air (via a ferry) traveling as a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids). We booked a great driver Rajab through the hotel which we used to take us to Lombok and return to the ferry. Lovely driver, with great English. Would use him again. Small bungalows - only 5 in total that have a clean pool. Manicured lawns and gardens. The staff were lovely. Breakfast was included, and it was good, nothing special though. They did our laundry efficiently. It is 60,000 per day to rent scooters. Very affordable stay, compared to other places we have stayed in We loved the restaurant Molly's around the corner, we went for dinner both nights, best-homecooked food, it is right on the main road and very hot (no air con and it was HOT ) but they have a great garden and two singing canaries and loads of local westerns that come to hang. Qunci Villas is across the road, which is a beautiful hotel for cocktails We visited the Lombok Zoo which was 40 mins by car and was worth the drive and would recommend it, as all the animals were so different and right up close to them. It takes in rescues and black market animals. Read the reviews online!

Surrounded by chickens, goats, and a small village off the main road (5 mins walk), the mosque on a Friday night was loud. It was also down a dirt track, it is safe but I wouldn't want to be walking around alone at night. Note, that you have to cross a very busy road to get to the beach / other hotels to hang out in, it is a bit hairy/scary. As it is dark and a main road. They could have had an information/ weclome booklet about what to see and do around the local area. I know the owner is Australian. Not a huge amount to do in the area other than visit the other beach clubs.

Cosy Cottages is a little oasis of heaven in the middle of a rural setting where chickens, dogs and cows roam. The location gives a real feel of how life in Lombok is. The staff running Cosy Cottage are so helpful and always happy to see you. They keep the place sparkling clean and maintain the gardens to an extremely high standard. Breakfast was so tasty. Great pancakes, rice and noodle dishes. Our 4 night stay was blissful!. There is a beach just a 5 minute walk away. It has gorgeous hotels were you can get great meals from. A local warung called 'Nuf Said' was excellent value for money and delicious. The beach has nice clean water and we got to enjoy snorkeling there. Watching the sunset was a highlight too. Hiring a motorbike from them Cosy Cottage was only £6 a day!!! We took the bike to see Sengiggi beach about 15 minute ride away. It was okay, not as good as the beach right by the cottage. My son and husband enjoyed going to a gym daily which cost about £2.70 a day. A good KFC Indonesian style too. Sadly not much in the way of local street food like in Sanur Bali. We will always remember our time at Cosy Cottage with fond memories. Thank you for a truly lovely stay.

I was pleasantly surprised to discover a beautifully decorated bungalow-style room with a gorgeous shower area, comfortable bed, and a private patio. Everything was spotless. Plenty of towels for both in the room and for use at the pool/beach. The pool was a welcome treat. Breakfast was tasty and generous. There was a coffee/tea station and water provided. The location was quiet, and across the street from the Mangsit beach clubs/resorts which are open to non-guests. Direct access to the public beach is about 5 minute walk from Cozy Cottages. The family was very welcoming and accommodating. They arranged for my pick-up at the Senggigi jetty and for a driver for a tour at a very reasonable rate.

The rooms are very comfortable, water is provided and the staff are attentive and helpful. They organised scooters for us and were also helpful with a transfer. The breakfast which was included was tasty. It is just a few minutes walk to the beach which is fine for first surfing experiences and snorkelling. We can thoroughly recommend the Warung Nuf Said: excellent lobster!

The property across from the villas is not very picturesque, otherwise everything great value for money.

We loved the overall atmosphere of the place. It was very relaxing and quiet. It’s a small establishment with 5 individual cottages. The first day we were there, only one other cottage was occupied. The place filled up over the weekend but it never felt crowded or busy. After a long morning of exploring we’d come back for a siesta by the pool. The pool was just we needed to cool down. Great staff that saw to our every need. The room had everything we needed—comfy bed, bedside tables with lamps so we could read in the evenings, cupboard to store our stuff, electric kettle, coffee and tea, a pitcher of water on the floating table, and a pitcher of chilled water in the fridge, A/C, hot water, natural light. You can rent a motorcycle from them, very reasonable daily rate. They can get you a driver and car as well. We got a driver from them who also arranged a snorkeling trip for us to all three Gili islands. It included a private boat and an excellent snorkeling guide.

The property sits about a 5 min walk from the main road. It is about 3km from Sengigigi. Very secluded and very quiet. You can walk to a nearby beach but it’s not a good beach. Actually all the beaches in Lombok are not good. Full of rubbish. You can eat at the cottage but the menu is limited. There are several warungs and shops on the main road and a beach club further down where you can eat. We rented a motorcycle from the cottage and got to explore much of Lombok with it. If you don’t know how to ride a motorcycle the cottage can get you a driver and car.

Everything. Quiet down local street and nearby warungs. Had a lovely meal at Quinci villas opposite. Staff were excellent. Bed comfy. Clean and hot shower. In a lovely pool area. cheap scooter rental. Kettle and fridge a bonus. Air con worked brilliantly. Lovely breakfast. A great cheap option for a few nights.

This isn't the guesthouse fault but very close to mosque so noisy at 4:30am. If not for this would give a 10/10. You need ear plugs.

The place was spotless clean, the pool refreshing. We wanted to see what we can get for 50aud a night and we were overwhelmed with the value for money. I really suggest this place for a group of friends or big family travelling together. With five cottages on the premisses, this can be a great place to stay if you book the whole place for yourself

The breakfast can be a little bit upgraded, even if the owner lift the price per night to compensate for bigger breakfast and maybe also sell just some beers on the premises

The staff were WONDERFUL - so warm and helpful and full of joy. The rooms were very comfy with great beds, excellent air con, strong warm showers, a fridge and kettle, and plenty of space. The pool is great and breakfasts simple but delicious. The cottages are set back from the main road in an authentic and peaceful village setting surrounded by goats, chickens and cows. We loved it. If you fancy a treat meal head to the restaurants at Qunci villas where the food and setting is stunning and the service is gorgeous. We also enjoyed drinks and sushi at The Kliff restaurant.

Nothing! Just note that you will want a motorbike to get around - but the hotel provides these and they are good value and in excellent condition.

Breakfast was simple and fine. The pool is great the water temp is very warm. It's a little bit off the regular road but it's easy to navigate. Staff are very nice.

We had problem with the Air conditioner however it was fixed within a day It is close to religious places that start with loud sounds at 0445 AM.
