Mercure Jakarta Pantai Indah Kapuk

I arrived slightly after 10am and was given the King Suite room immediately since they have the availability, despite their check-in time being after 2pm. Most hotels i went to wouldn't do that even if they have ready rooms and would make guests wait till at least noon time, so i really appreciated being given the room that early as it was totally unexpected. The reception staff was very friendly (forgot to get his name), room was spacious & clean as expected of a King Suite, welcome fruits and chocolate platters in the room, breakfast was yummy, my boy and hubby managed to have some fun at the pool, mall connected to hotel, food street right beside the hotel, taxis always waiting infront of hotel.

The room rate maybe a tad high since location is not in the central of Jakarta but its a suite, cheaper than Swissotel and I guess its one of the very few good hotels in the area so i guess it kinda made up for it.

Location was very strategic, adjacent to PIK AVENUE mall with pass through in the hotel lobby. The entire Pantai Indah Kapur seems to be an affluent area so very safe in general.

Rooms are a bit small for the price you’re paying, however based on the location and the purpose of our visit (attending a course) convenience was more important than value for money so I would say this could be improved but it is fair. Towel rack in the bathroom was loose, shower stall was honestly quite cramped for this class of hotel, there’s no bath tub (for the price paid I somewhat expect a bathtub) and for some reason the water from the pipes smelled very strongly of iron.

Very convenient location with attached mall. No lack of food choices or getting basic amenities. Very close to airport as well, maximum of 30mins travel between airport and hotel (usually)

The aircon seems to be perpetually cold regardless of temperature setting. For the record, i had changed the temperature to 28 degrees and it still felt like winter in there. Had to turn it off sometimes in order to warm up the room

The location was excellent. We were 20 mins from the Airport. There were lots of shops on the street outside. You had a great view of the sea. The hotel is attached to a large mall and there were excellent options for food in the mall. The view from the hotel was stunning and unexpected. We could see planes flying past, the golf course, the sea, etc. The room was very large and comfortable.

The cleanliness in the living room area left a little to be desired with the sofa and the carpet being quite stained. The staff at breakfast were not friendly at all. This is something they need to work on,

Excellent location close to the airport and motorways. Everything can be found in the PIK mall and the nearby restaurant area. Very good welcome at check-in, quick as well as check-out. Many thanks this time to Ms. Miske for her welcome at the restaurant and to Mr. Taju for his quickness during breakfast

Breakfast is decreasing a little in quality and quantity

Good spread for breakfast. Room spacious and clean and is cleaned every day. Convenient location with shopping mall next to it though the shopping mall has nothing much to offer.

Daily breakfast has same items which makes it boring. A little change would be preferred. Otherwise is nice hotel.

Location inside the mall. Convient for looking for a meal. There are many type of cuisine so staying there a few days wouldn't a problem. There is also Food hall supermarket. Nearby to Soetta Airport. The pillow is very comfortable.

The curtain is still leak light from sunlight so if you are late riser and light sensitive would a problem. I have mentioned this to hotel manager.

I have been going to this hotel for a few years when I come to Jakarta on business. The location close to the airport and convenient to the highways allows me to move quickly. Bluebird taxis always available outside the lobby. Great choice of restaurants of any kind in the immediate vicinity and Shopping Mall directly connected to the hotel

it’s convenient to access from the airport, connected to the mall and close to PIK area. Staff are friendly.

The hotel is much older than we thought, the towels were already a bit greyish, carpet got stains. Smell occasionally come from the shower drain.

Friendly and professional staff. Clean room. Comfy bed and pillow. Good location to explore PIK area. Very recommended hotel to stay.

No proper pedestrian access to the shophouses (ruko) opposite the hotel.
