Golden Tulip Holland Resort Batu

This place blew me away. The hotel was designed neatly and with taste in mind. The room (i got the Deluxe room), was absolutely HUGE for the price i paid (it was 37 sq. meters and I paid 1.005.001). Breakfast has massive choices, something that is welcomed since we're so far from the large cities that I was surprised the hotel was able to collect multiple items at one place. Lastly, STAFF WAS AMAZING. Friendly, courteous, and willing to go the extra mile. Thanks GT, I will definitely come back!

I guess transportation? since you need to rely completely toward online taxis and there are no convenience store within reasonable walking distancec.

The hotel located in a tranquil housing/villa compound, with a nice view. The room was pretty spacious. The check in process was smooth, no waiting time, all 3 rooms were ready immediately. The 2 resto has a very beautiful view; and the bfast choices were quite massive and taste good. The garden in between the 2 hotel buildings was very nice too. They also have a nice pool for kids (though it was too cold to swim in Batu), and they have a small play room for kids, plus a pool table for adults. There are bikes that are free to use by the guests.

The bathroom needs touch up. I stayed in premier king bed room, and I found that my kids room which was deluxe twin room (cheaper) has a cleaner and well maintained bath room. The shower bidet has a leakage, and the towel hanger almost fall. I can see the age of the bathroom by looking at its bathtub, and tiles and the black stain on the corners. I would recommend to just book deluxe i/o premier. Cleanliness could've been improved.

Check in staff is very helpful and can speak well in English and Chinese. View from my room is very good i like it.

Unluckyly we had dinner at Skydome, waiting so long for our dinner...more than half an hour. There was a lot of people and all the table was fulled. We bump into a bunch of people maybe a club touring or something also stay in the hotel the same time with us. Moreover next day when we went for breakfast also same time with those group of people and many dishes in the buffet line all gone and hotel didnt refill it that quick. Also we are a bit rush to leave so we ate only a bit as they dont have many main course left at that time.

Our stay was fine with this hotel. The location is good. the breakfast spread was good too. The room was cosy and view from the room was spectacular. They gave us free croissants after check in and it was awesome. Overall it is a decent and family friendly place to stay.

We asked for extra bed and they messaged us long ago for confirmation and we did confirm, but when we checked in, they said there isn’t enough extra bed. It was a bit of inconvenience for us, but we managed. We ordered cappuccino at infinite 8 restaurant and we waited for more than 30 mins and it was not ready, we cancelled the order. Same thing happened during the next day. We believe this was just due to busy weekend the hotel had with the school holidays.

The room is nice, clean. The ambience of the hotel is excellence. Tha facility is good, the restauran is perfect, lots of varian of restaurant such as oriental restaurant, western n indonesian food.

There are lots of ants in one of our room so that we have to remove all of our food from table. The water of kids swimming pools looks dirty.

Hotel is well-maintained and clean with great facilities! Staff are professional and helpful. The food are delicious too! The design of Skydome is modern and incredible, while the food there are delicious too!!

Everything is perfect! But wishing the buffet can provide more different kind of traditional Indonesian snacks like Pisang Goreng, Lemper.

Good layout of bar, restaurant, and especially the swimming pool. Staff were all very friendly and efficient. Strangely the western food was better than most of the Indonesian selections.

Some of the breakfast food was rather plain. Some staff (a minority) were trying too hard to be friendly which felt forced rather than genuine.

This is our first time to stay here and very gratefull that the bedroom is clean,staff is friendly and helpfull,The restaurant for breakfast is amazing ,they got plenty of choices ,we love it!! the garden is amazing. Great for those that love photo session ,the pool great !! Thank you..Definetely wiill come back again. I love the view from our bedroom which is the beautiful volcano 😍😍

We can hear people above our bedroom when they jumping around ,it is very loud and when they talk you can hear them too 😂😂

Breakfast was Good and we enjoyed the beautiful scenery. However we felt the restaurant could have been better and offer better value for our family. The Pizza was good. Overall we felt hotel was expensive but we enjoyed our stay.

The staffs’ response were good. They all were attentive to the guests.

The arrangement when check in need to improve. We booked 1 room, at first, we were placed at a connecting room. However, the other room’s noice was a bit disturbing. Thus, we asked for a new room replacement. The process of room changing was quick and good. Though, we check in at almost 5 pm, the hotel should have consider the convenience of the guest when checking in.
