W Goa

Nishant and his team are excellent. They go out of their way to help with anything and everything. It's a stunning property - such beautiful grounds. Gorgeous views.

My only issue is they play loud techno music in the lobby from the afternoon onwards which doesn't seem necessary. It didn't seem that any of the guests were embracing it - people of all ages were visiting the hotel (not kids in their 20s). Some mellow tunes and vibes would be nice. The breakfast staff needs to pay more attention to detail - particularly place settings - cutlery, salt and pepper etc.

Location of property

For the whole duration of our stay hot water was not available in the hotel. I was told that there was problem in their water heating plant but they were not able to get it repaired for 4 days, is surprising. All the guests were angry with hotel staff for that. Some were very very angry.

I will keep great souvenir of my stay at W Goa! The facilities were perfect and I enjoyed the three swimming pools, one of which was very Zen and one very fun with a very good lounge music like in the best parties of GOA. The design of the room and its comfort were admirable. Beyond all these qualities, the strength of W Goa relies in its great team which is always attentive and seeks to provide the best service. I don't remember leaving an hotel of this standard remembering so many wonderful people. I would particularly like to thank: - Laxmi Verma who perfectly welcomed us then assisted and advised permanently live or via Whatsapp with professionalism, kindness and humor throughout the stay. Laxmi helped me even after I left to retrieve an item that I had forgotten thus demonstrating how important we are as customers. - Nilesh, life saver at the pool for his kindness in making sure we had everything and his good advice especially on Goan cuisine as well as Kanta and the pool team - Tony, who often spontaneously came to us at breakfasts, to give us excellent advices to learn and taste more about Indian cuisine or simply to help us. - Dutta on whom I could count and who often came to check that I had everything I needed as well as Aliji - Shanka for the care taken in preparing the room several times a day and his excellent towel arts helped in this by Avindo, whom I also thank. They often came to make sure I didn't miss anything. - Pankaj at lunch time for the proposed trip to the country of the flavors of Indian cuisine and its kindness as well as Anubhav - The distinguished cuisine team who surprised us every day with new, truly refined dishes with an impressive choice at the Kitchen Table - Sreeraj for coming to me and for his advices on places to visit - the staff of the internal vehicles who always offered to take us to our destination when they met us on the paths of the Hotel park

Our stay at W Goa was fabulous in a way words cannot do justice Property and rooms: The property is huge and very well maintained. We loved exploring different areas with so much ease. Rooms were excellent. Super clean and so spacious. Staff: The property is of no use if you dont have staff that doesn’t understand what the guests want and how they can go beyond their work profile and thats what blown us away at W Goa. The entire staff at W Goa was way beyond fabulous but few deserve a special shoutout. Farhad Mehta - He was our ambassador during the stay and he just not only understands his job well, he understands his guests as well. Right from arranging a celebration for our son’s bday to sweet surprises to arranging show tickets, he got us fall in love with W Goa even more. Yuvraj - He looks after the Villa house keeping and he personifies “I am just a phone call away” statement. Went out of the way to arrange an inflatable pool for our son.. hats off to his services even for smallest of stuff.. Ali and Seema - Our servers at TKT restaurant. With smile on their faces, they make you feel happy while you are enjoying meals. Ali went out of the way and requested chef to make gulab jamuns out of the menu just at one mention of our son that he likes them. Deepak and Evilize: They made special arrangements for us owing to event clashing during out stay just to ensure we are not inconvenienced. Spa: amazing spa and the front desk staff as well as masseuses were outstanding. All in all we had more than amazing time at W Goa and would love to visit again.

Areas of improvement: with events the cart services get impacted for other guests, this could be planned better.

This property is extremely child friendly. They made sure my 11 month old daughter was taken care of extremely well. Gave us a room at surface level so that stroller need not be carried. Quite thoughtful. Rock pool is just amazing. Secret tip: Get up early morning and go the view point at rock pool. I spent 2 hours early morning there everyday. It’s fantastic and noone around. Pool is ok. They arranged high chairs and floats for my daughter. Child assistance was there all the time. Chef will make whatver you ask for baby food. Staff is extremely courteous. After being a Taj patron for many years- W is surely my Goa stay going forward… Fantastic property. Very well managed. At kitchen table , almost all staff knew my 11- month old’s name and gave her goodies to keep her entertained. Excellent stay!

Good location and ambience, vibe. Helpful staff, they also helped to decorate the room for wife's birthday and got a cake.

Went to Rockpool bar to spend the birthday evening. But after waiting for 10 15mins, no one bothered to take our order. After all the experiences, I don't want to keep calling for service. We simply left. So they are at extremes of experience. The bathroom curtains in the room kept making noise with fluttering on fan speed. Disturbed the sleep now and then. This can be really managed. The steps to the beach towards the end really need some work or you may slip someday. Needs fix

The room was big and comfortable, perhaps matrasses could be better. The bathroom was very big and well equipped. The restaurants were all good and the breakfast buffet as well as the lunch buffet were very rich and the food exquisite.

there was no organised beach, there were no sun beds and no umbrellas. the hotel says there are three pools but eventually only one where you can actually swim. on our last day there was a wedding and due to the preparation everything was a bit chaotic.

Rock pool, buffet spread, taste and quality and excellent staff.

Recliners and beach umbrellas can be provided near the Beach side access from rock pool. This is the only thing we missed, beach side amenities while you are accessing the beach. Though it's not a private beach but basic facilities can be provided. After all, you go to goa for the beaches 😊

Property is very well spread… it had lovely vibe…. Food… oh my god… the spread and the taste…. Superbly best…. Also they leave no stone unturned to fulfil your requests. Special mentions for staff and chefs for making our holiday especially for kids so memorable…

Pools were pretty disappointing… it could have been better.

I liked the overall experience. To name a few, Firstly, The host set the tone and he was exceptionally informed, friendly and professional. The housekeeping staff were thorough, friendly and eager to help. The staff at "Kitchen Table" are amazing. from the person who allocates your table to the head chef, were there for you. The breakfast spread was sumptuous. The staff from the main gate to everyone including the security personnel were helpful and professional. Got to experience various cuisine. Though on expensive side, the quality, taste and presentation makes up for it. Also, The internet speed (Wifi) was amazing for both streaming and video calling. The landscapes were well maintained. Lastly, Since this is quite a big property, The staff who ferry the guest using buggies are friendly and are there for you 247.

The time I visited "W Goa", was T20 World Cup, I wish they had streamed it or had some sports channel activated. In other words, I wish that the Televisions in the room were "Smart TVs". This allows guest stream their favourite shows from their own subscriptions.
