The location of the property is excellent, walkable distance to Cannaught Place and metro . The best thing about this property is the courteous nature of the staff . Everyone from the gate watchman to the reception staff all are very polite and helpful. All your concerns and issues will be dealt with immediate assistance. The breakfast spread was elaborate and delicious. The room was good in size and all other facilities like swimming pool,gym etc are very well maintained.

Although it is a 5 star hotel there are few things which this hotel doesn’t provide as compared to a 4 or 3 star hotels. 1. No welcome drink 2. the bathrooms were not clean 3. the room amenities were not complete like no drinks provided in the bar 4. not enough toiletries were provided

Service was prompt and efficient. The on-site restaurant Balachi good and room service and laundry was handled well.

This is nice hotel but it's ridiculously busy. The lobby is packed so full of people coming and going it feels like a train station. Front desk staff were nice enough but they were simply thumping through the guests checking in and out. It's not that it's bad, its just incredibly impersonal. It's also expensive, which is fine but the rooms are fairly standard business hotel type rooms affairs with zero personality. During our trip we stayed at Oberoi and ITC properties as well and this was by far our least enjoyable experience without anything in particular being wrong.

We stayed here 3 times over our holiday in India and used this location as a base for our trip. The hotel is beautiful, grand and smells delicious! The service in the lobby from the staff are superb, however it loses a star for the front desk and thee front desk service. Our check in experience was very frustrating and took far longer than it should, granted we were there at the same time as the G20 but the queues to check in were longer than any other hotel we stayed at in India and we stayed in 7 x 5 Star hotels. The front desk staff seemed quite miserable so I would put this down to process being very manual. Photocopies of passports of guests were visible at one point which was alarming. Since the lobby is so huge and comfortable with many seats, perhaps they can work on a ticketing system allowing guests who have travelled thousands of miles to be here a chance to rest until it is their turn to check in. Breakfast was good, particularly the Indian selection, they serve good coffee and copious amounts of delicious masala Chai. Ice in the bar is from filtered water so was safe to drink. We stayed in a standard room, a deluxe room and then the suite, a huge room which also includes executive lounge access. Our standard room was run down, the other 2 rooms were fantastic. For reference they were 1805 and 1215. The hotel is in close proximity to the famous connaught Square, so you can find so many restaurants and shops just a walk away. Room service menu is very expensive, there is a great restaurant called juggernaut which is on the corner and serves amazing food at a decent price. Big thanks to Pravan on the concierge team, he remembered us and was a welcome face every time we returned to the glorious Lalit. We will continue to stay at Lalit as our base to discover more of India.

Great location, lovely staff, best bed I've ever slept in. Pool was fabulous and great for an evening cool off.

The first night there was hammering noise nearby. I spoke on various occasions to staff and although they promised it would stop, it didn't. Not acceptable in a 5 star hotel. There was a lack of western food in the restaurant and in particular gor breakfast.

Good bed (king), quiet (floor 10 backside), large room and clean, friendly staff, food is tasty, basically the hotel maintenance in general is done well. I find 90% great impressions, and 10% really disturbing details for a hotel in that price category.

Don't expect too much from that location near Connaught Place, it is not different to other places in town. I don't worry to walk these streets during night, but some might prefer to take always a taxi. It feels a little bit overpriced, also on food. Empty minibar. Two hangers only it the cabinet. Cabinet might have its years, while other items are refurbished and clean. While office chair on desk is new, the relaxing chair shows dirt and could be cleaned with some chemicals.

This hotel is in an excellent location right in the heart of the city, yet it manages to provide a peaceful retreat from the city buzz and traffic, making it a perfect choice for both business and leisure travellers. The hotel's proximity to popular dining, shopping, and work destinations is a major plus. The breakfast spread was a delightful surprise, offering one of the best I've had in a while. I must commend the housekeeping staff for their consistent efforts in ensuring that I returned to a spotless and inviting room after a long day of work every day. The reception team, especially the ladies, extended a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The security and baggage desk staff were equally friendly and quick to offer their assistance, making my stay truly enjoyable.

The key cards often experience malfunctions when used in the elevator or to access rooms, requiring frequent reassignment. It might be a good idea to consider regular maintenance for either the key cards or the machines.

India truly has some of the best 5 start hotels and customer service. Check in was seamless. Staff were attentive and super helpful. The room was lovely, clean and spacious with eagles flying outside my window. Tons of toiletries provided. the hotel has an art gallery which is lovely. I also used the spa which was brilliant. The restaurants are really good and catered for my dietary requirements. They even prepared me a meal outside of the breakfast hours. You feel the extra endeavour that the staff make to help guests.

No complaints about the hotel but the area around the hotel is very busy as it is central Delhi

Location is good. The hotel itself is very nice. Staff and service was ok. My checkout experience was very good. The young lady by the name of Lia did excellent job. Lalit needs more staff like her.

This was my second visit/ stay in The Lalit. I stayed here around this same time last year as well. Some smiles and genuine attention at check in/ reception will do good, both for the guests but mostly for the hotel. The one thing which I didn’t like on my previous visit and which still hasn’t changed is the reception of guests in the restaurant downstairs for breakfast/ buffet. Attitude of the main guy/ maybe manager or supervisor there needs improvement.

It is cleans. Rooms are comfortable. It has 3 good restaurants. Gym and swimming pool are excellent. The sauna and steam room are very good. It has some good shops and two coffee places.

The service of concierge is not very helpful. All staff at concierge provide different information and not always is someone at that desk and it takes long time for them to puck up the phone. The front desk staff seem overwhelmed. There was a lot of guest. The room service is slow. There are no indications in the room how to use TV. The guest has to adivine that international movies available for free are those which are not HD. So the guest cannot chose all. But it us not indicated. To review the menus of all restaurants in the the TV is challenging.
