Le Meridien Mahabaleshwar Resort & Spa

The property is exceptional. It is in the middle of the forest, and the gardens and greenery around the rooms are excellent. The staff are amiable and attentive. It has a perfect spa, and the restaurants have good food.

The hotel feels a bit old. This reflects on the infinity pool and some parts of the room that could have better maintenance. Getting to the property may take time since the only way to do so is by car, and the road to get there is small and can have heavy traffic at times. But it's worth it once you get to the hotel.

The food spread both during lunch and dinner was exceptional. The ingredients were absolutely fresh and pure. The food and snacks were delectable and finger licking good. Dinner at Woods was an altogether an extremely enjoyable and a special experience. The food and service was outstanding. My family including myself, had a great time and found it super relaxing and soothing.. The cheerful smile and the warmth of the staff made our stay even more memorable. Would like to thank profusely some of the hotel team members, that we came across and were found to be going out of their way to make our stay so thoroughly enjoyable. Shantanu the Director operations, Soumitra the Director F&B, Nitin the restaurant Manager were outstanding hosts who made us feel so much at home. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable, the linen provided were fresh & clean. The natural surrounding was really very soothing and refreshing.

A few more interesting short hikes through natural forest areas would have been welcome. The natures trail presently done could be better.

Above all, the service was outstanding. EVERYBODY was exceptionally courteous, polite and eager to please or help. In fact the staff outclassed any other hotel in the world! I would like to make a special mention of buggy driver Kishor Bhilare and Hamesh and Vikash in the all - day restaurant. The facilities, rooms and complimentary High Tea were all first-rate. I recommend this hotel whole-heartedly.

The mobile network of my provider was non existent and so was the hotel wifi (except in the reception office and restaurants)

This was our first stay at Le Meridien in Mahabaleshwar and this came after trying all old / new resorts and Hotels in Mahabaleshwar over the years this was one of the properties on our list to explore and it has exceeded our expectations in all senses. To keep it short ... 10/10 for Courteous and attentive staff (Special Mention to Swetank from front desk, Shivani and Niraj from Latest Recipe) 10/10 for Attention to details for a comfortable stay through recreation center, facilities and activities for Kids and grown-ups alike And finally, 10/10 for the property (27 Acre spread) the way it's designed and maintained makes you spend more and more time inside the premise itself.

Some may find food options bit on expensive side but looking at the quality, taste and overall service (we mostly stuck to room service as liked it very much after first order on first day of stay) it's a good bargain.

The staff, service and ambience. The resort is huge and privacy of the guests are maintained well. The cordial behaviors' of the staffs make you feel at home. The check-in process is seamless and a nice gesture of providing cookies and pastry during our check out make you feel good. The infinity temperature controlled pool is nice. The breakfast buffet and Saturday dinner was outstanding. Special attention from Mr. Sandeep during dinner and our check-in lady Ms Shayali makes our stay memorable.

Nothing as such, however some activities during monsoon makes you feel better. The continental spread needs improvement

Not so good: - Not stroller / wheel chair friendly. Our access to the room required to mandatory go up a flight of stairs with a stroller. - On our first day, the mini bar had left over beer which was promptly removed after complaining - Left over items from previous guests under the bed which we only discovered because there was gap between the wall and bed where our phone slipped through - Asked for some water in the morning which didn't come even after an hour and a follow up call

Overall stay was awesome, special thanks to Sahil In Room Dining, Vishal Patil , Joydeep. Sahil is the best guy who always ready to deliver best food for you at anytime. It's children friendly and food for children is pure hygiene with best world class quality. Everything is very fresh. Hospitality and ambiance is top notch , humble staff and helping for everything, service is best and you feel like you are in heaven. Villa/Rooms are very clean and location is best , Its very safe and your privacy is always maintained by staff. Check in and check out was very comfortable and we enjoyed with our kid , will definitely revisit the property again and again

Landscape and architecture where 28 villas were setup in acres of jungle with pathway and full ambience of jungle safari. The food was excellent and chef Hemant, Mr Ajey, Mr Jaydeep and Mr Ram Preet made sure we had good food and service. house keeping staff were very professional as well. one most important thing was that the property engaged its guests very well with multiple activities and snacks. also the activities for kids were also very engaging and amazing !

Nothing as such. generally pest control during breakfast time can be a little better also the reception could not pick the call few times I called which should not have been the case as it’s midst of no where and people depend on local calls to reception (9#)

Beautiful villa rooms located right in the middle of pristine, lush green jungle. It's not just another resort but an experience that you could enjoy with your family and your loved ones. Extremely friendly and welcoming staff who go all the way to make your stay memorable - shout out to Ankush, Wasim, Pushpendra and Sofia for their great hospitality. Luxurious stay and top notch in room amenities and facilities, including an on call buggy service. The property is huge, almost takes 30 mins on foot from one end to another. I had the opportunity to dine at 'The Woods' restaurant and it absolutely blew my mind. Very personalized experience, you can't go wrong with your plan of a romantic dinner date. Book in advance if you want to dine here as the tables and dining slots are very limited.

Some of the food options especially snacks are inexorably highly priced, that does not justify even the 5 star rates as compared to other locations. Kids meals are complementary but it needs some more options to be added.

I have been to Le Meridien Mahabaleshwar Resort & Spa 3 times so it is hard to write too much about this amazing resort. Let me say that it gets better every time and there is always someting new. The service is outstanding , the food incredible. You only have to mention something is not 100% and they make sure it is 200%. Let me just say this is by far my favourite resort in Maharashtra State. Special thanks to the staff, Sophia who manages the reception and the team of Woods jungle restaurant. Thank you so much for the warm and excellent hospitality.
