The location the room staff the resturant team even the security guys were sweet proactive and always there to help. The rooms were good clean & comfortable. We upgraded our booking to the chalet rooms once we checked in. Would have recommended to all if only we had not met the GM. All the staff work went in vain when the GM was approached with a query.

They were not accepting AMEX cards and it was not mentioned anywhere. The GM had no clue. As a frequent traveller we use Amex card the 1 which is widely accepted in hotels world wide. There were no clear indications either on ther website or physically in the hotel causing last minute confusion and delays on our departure. The middle & top management has to be proactive & educated surprisingly to find the room staff and r3sturant staff chef being proactive and were well prepared for all guest requirements and help if needed . The top management has to learn from them. Except for the interaction we had with the Gendral Manager everything was perfect.

The best part of this property is the location. Just a few kilometers away from the hustle bustle of Kodai town yet, peaceful and serene. Awesome view of the hills from Timber Chalet with chirping birds surrounding you. Some indoor games available to keeps busy. SPA is just okay and can be improved significantly. Food is decent and has variety. Everyone should have something or other that suits their palette. Kasthuri in front desk, Chef Yuvaraj are always there to help!

Service needs significant improvement. The issue appeared to be untrained staff and dearth of supervision. Kasthuri does a great job at front desk but she too much to manage.

The surroundings, the helpful staff- Kasturi and Akash at the reception were cooperative and helpful. The restaurant staff, Ramji, Vaishnavi, Ram, the chefs, all went out of their way to make our dining experience enjoyable. So did the travel desk guys- Jaishankar and Premkumar who guided us in making our sightseeing trips memorable.

A suggestion- if you could replace the soft mattress and pillows with coir ...especially for the elderly.

the location is absolutely gorgeous! it’s nestled in between hills with a small waterfall that gushes with the most beautiful sound of running water. the service is amazing! Ramji, Saravanan, the young lady at the restaurant, Rajaram the manager, the Chef, Mr Veera, every single staff on the housekeeping team and the front desk staff. Their service was impeccable! Our stay was made better by them. We arrived at 2am and they had hot milk and a fruit platter to ease our hunger. Was floored by their hospitality!

what’s not to like!

The property is well maintained with clean rooms and surroundings. The view from the rooms are really good. The in house restaurant was excellent with variety of options & the complimentary breakfast was very good too.

The roads leading to the hotel was under construction when we went and we parked our vehicle in another hotel’s compound. This might have changed now.

Breakfast was very good, specially south Indian Food was nice. Staff is very cooperative & clean. Indoor games are also good. Property is clean & neat. Very nicely planned.

Washrooms are very small & cozy comparing with location & overall space availability. Washrooms are always being wet due to water pressure in Toilet hand spray & Bath cabin improper door sealing. Lighting in Room No 117 is not proper & insufficient. Breakfast place is far away from rooms & walkway is muddy, not proper. Parking Place is short.

The architect and land scalping is good.

Food is average because the menu selection is poor I.e most of the item suits Tamil people but people from Telangana and Andhra will be boored because our food indigrients and the aroma of spices we use is good quality and the food is not tasty and biryani taste is not good. The management should hire a chef specially from Hyderabad.

Excellent breakfast with extra ordinary service..especially the Interaction of Executive was very much appreciated

To provide extra bed for third adult is compelsory .You are charging for three people.One person cannot sleep in a small uncomfortable sofa..!!

The Food was amazing and very affordable

The room floors were making noises at some places while we step on the wooden floor. The stay arrangements for drivers were in humane. Could be better. We had to book rooms outside seperately to accommodate our drivers

staffs were polite . chef Yuvraj is who made the trip memorable. his smile and ready to serve is just amazing . bismala bhaat ( sambar rice) was just outbid the world

little over priced with amenities. however good weekend with family specially with kids
