Hyderabad Marriott Hotel & Convention Centre

Property is old. Room size is a bit lower when you consider it as a five star hotel. But other common facilities are excellent. Restaurants and food are outstanding. And above all the exceptionally excellent staff and their laudable attitude is the game changer factor. Right from the gate to entry to front office to house keeping to restaurant to travel help desk to everywhere. They are simply awesome. I am really happy I chose this specific Marriott hotel property at tTank Bund road.

Room size is not so great and the inside room furniture is also a bit old. But the toilets are renovated and excellent.

The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and accommodating. Four staff members deserve special recognition: Will on the 8th floor rooftop bar, Yating in the ground floor coffee shop, Mosaley in the ground floor coffee shop, and Kaleem at the front door went above and beyond to help an American tourist feel comfortable in Hyderabad and India in general. They offered restaurant suggestions, city-travel tips, and, overall, helped out of more than a sense of duty but out of a genuine interest in being welcoming and connecting with guests from abroad.

It was a little difficult for Uber drivers and rickshaw drivers to find the entrance at times.

Exceptionally guest friendly staff Always helpful to provide the best solution to any problem. Provided best deals possible ( eg: I had to add few guests etc) I had my son’s as well as my wife’s bday the same week where we stayed and we received a surprise cake. Breakfast buffet was amazing with so many items. If you needed some specific items not in the list, the chefs were very easy to work with to accommodate the food of our choice. Highly rate Marriott Hyderabad for anyone to come and enjoy Hyderabad / Secunderabad.

Nothing that I can think of

The staff members exhibited incredible warmth, utmost cooperation, and unparalleled helpfulness in every possible manner. Among them, Dinesh and Gayatri were exceptional - the best staff members I have ever encountered in my life. Their presence made our stay all the more enjoyable and pleasant. The room provided immense comfort, with prompt room service that added to the convenience. It pleasantly surprised us with the special arrangement made for the couple, while the washroom was equipped with all the necessary amenities and even more. Furthermore, the breakfast and lunch buffets were simply the finest I have ever encountered. Every dish served was so delectable that it became a challenge to resist the temptation of trying just one. The offers on the food and the complimentary items were equally impressive and added value to our overall experience. The assistance provided by the staff members with a warm smile was truly delightful. In particular, the exceptional support extended by Dinesh and Gayathri enhanced our everyday experience during our stay.

The service provided by the staff at this hotel cannot be described in words. The staff at all levels are pleasant, service minded, available and seem very interested in being on the customer's side. If someone asks me why I choose this hotel, I would have answered: the staff starting from the front desk you meet the very nice manager Mr Rugved, Executive Club you meet the best manager Nugar and Nana, Sirash and head chef Maga who cooks very good food and even serves sometimes.

I don't like the smell from the Canal, but that hasn't stopped me from staying here.

Breakfast menu was good, many options for the wide variety of hotel guests. Location is excellent. Staff is very courteous and caring. Air conditioning worked very well in the hot weather outside.

The hotel could improve as far as value for money goes...........meaning, the room rates and restaurant rates could be a little competitive. Rooms and Corridors are getting old, in need of minor renovation.

The best part, without a doubt, are the people. Everyone, from the security people at the front fate to the bussing staff in the restaurants to everyone in between, have the self confidence and the English language skills to carry on a conversation. Something i gave not experienced in other hotels in India. was genuinely made to feel welcome. Other than the people, my other favourite part was watching sunset from the executive lounge. The best view in the house by far.

It is important to ensure proper maintenance in any hotel. However, I question the need to be painting hallways with such toxic smelling products in the busy period leading up to Christmas. Whereas the hotel is not responsible for parks maintenance, they could be working with the City to ensure the waterfalls running from the lake to the creek outside the hotel are cleared from garbage and debris.

Breakfast is amazingly good and offers many options. Gym is prety good and WiFi works good...

Staff is full of gold diggers who just want a tip in advance before they serve you. In my culture people earns the tips, but here (and I don't know if it is likewise in the Indian culture) it's like mandatory to give a tip before ask for something. They even speak good english convinently when they want to be understood and very poor english when they want to confuse you... Location isn't the best. It is weird to be check for weapons every time you enter the property.

the property was nice and has a lot of culture . the staff was exceptional . special mention for mr Prakash at the front desk he was very warm extremely kind and made me feel very very special . staff like mr Prakash and their treatment of me as guest makes me want to overlook all else and rate this as one of the better experiences I have had . He helped me with early checkin was kind to offer late checkout offered me lunch and was so kind to see I had great check out I was treated like a kind thanks Prakash you are perhaps the single most imp reason I’ll always choose the Marriott in Hyderabad when iam there

My only grouse was with maintenance of the door - there was provision for panic chain but no chain .Door lock was old and one had to try a few times to make sure it was locked when inside . but very minor issues iam sure if I had asked for a room change I would have got it

breakfast good location far beds and sheets and towels were super clean They all tried their best to make us happy

altough room was non smoking, smoking was all around and that was annoying but when I complained they handled my complain so professionally starting with the staff member immediately getting his supervisor who talked very gently trying to make me happy and no more smoking
