Hyatt Regency Ahmedabad

The staff of the hotel were excellent specially the Breakfast team of Dean, Sila, Bhagwan, Akash, Kavita,Amrish,Kundan,Sangita,Tanvi,Milka,Neel,Savita,Sourabh and Simon. Even the Chef Surya was brilliant. The check in staff Aryan and Philomena were superb. The house keeping incharge of our floor Monica was too good. All these staff of Hyatt are true assets and they have given us the service from the heart. The F&B manager Asish was also great. They deserve true applause. Would appreciate if you can please pass our thank you message personally to them.

The house keeping phone should be direct to the house keeping and not via front desk as the message gets missed sometimes and even the content of the message is lost and the service gets delayed, so if it is direct then this could certainly be avoided.

This hotel was a revelation. We normally stay in a Marriott and decided to book the Hyatt due to the coverage it receives from sports teams. The thali restaurant, Sarvatt was a delight. A 9 course menu which was not style over substance. The food was tasty, authentic with well thought out, unique presentations for each course. An amazing experience made more enjoyable by Omkar. The China house restaurant was the best Chinese we have ever had, having travelled all over the world. The mushroom and pak Choy stir fry 😋. Thank you Sajal for all of your wonderful service here. The Italian restaurant Tinello-Again the mushroom ravioli was the best we have ever tasted. Authentic, tasty served with passion. On this holiday we stayed at a taj and trident and this was by far the best experience overall. The staff are friendly, attentive, service with a smile and are beyond welcoming as well as go the extra mile. The rooms are clean, spacious and perfect for a holiday. The location is central, allowing travelling to be easy and cost effective. One piece of information we found out at breakfast was food wastage was donated to local animal charities. This topped our experience, making the hotel environmentally and socially effective. For this reason I would 100% stay at a Hyatt in future. Thank you so much to those who made our stay enjoyable.

Happy friendly service. Vinod and Mumma cleaned my room every day and carried out a great service.

My room was fine and I had amazing views from the 9th floor, only thing that annoyed me was the the noise of the car horns early in the morning and dogs barking at night! Also one morning I had a window cleaner (wasn't expecting him to be there) and as I opened my blinds I was thankful I was fully dressed! - I think the hotel should have informed guests about this by a message under the door!

I have a special attachment to this property since my first stay in 2018 which was amazing and memorable. post covid, this was our first holiday and flight with our toddler and it was to Ahmedabad and I didn’t think twice about booking our stay in Hyatt again. however, unlike 2018, this time our trip started out very rough at the property. but the team was jus amazing and quick in gathering all their management staff to resolve the issues and ensure that we had a comfortable stay thereafter. service recovery was exceptional and very swift ! special mention to Puneet who personally met us to get things in order, parag and Sanjay were swift in arranging stuff and making us settle down comfortably. but I think what made our trip extremely memorable and special once again despite the rough start was the F&B team. my son especially was very attached to Akaash who always went out of his way to customise a meal to his liking (fussy toddler). Akaash made sure my allergy was taken care off and every meal was just fantastic at the hyatt (both the restaurants). Chef Pankaj also touched our hearts with how he interacted with our toddler and also curated meals for us. the whole team also throw me a surprise on my birthday ! A Big thank you to the whole team in Hyatt (including engineering and housekeeping) who worked tirelessly to ensure we have a comfortable stay ! my son misses Akaash a lot and we look forward to going back soon !

the rough patches best known to the management team which I think they have taken care of.

Our first-time long stay at Hotel Hyatt Regency, Ahmedabad during January 2023 was a perfect start to the New Year. We were here to attend Pramukh Swami Maharaj’s Centennial Celebrations. Our room on the 11th Floor was clean, modern and spacious which made our stay very comfortable. The Hotel facilities are excellent and so were all the staff who were friendly, courteous and helpful which we appreciated and they created a pleasant environment. Just to name some of the staff who provided wonderful service were The Deputy General Manager, Dharmesh Patel, Reception – Parag, Sagar and the Ladies, Porter – Ashish, Security – Chandandrash, Housekeeping – Dilip and Narayan, Spa Ladies, Chief Chef Pankaj and his team including Kalpesh and Akash who with understanding and heartedly served the devotees/Guests with delicious Swaminarayan/Jain items for outstanding Breakfast. We went there for the last four days of our holiday and it was exceptional. The staff members treated us like family and made sure that we were very comfortable. There was so much choice with food so we only ate at the hotel for all our meals and to be honest, it was great. Our Diwali meal was the highlight. In all honesty we were part of the Hyatt family and all the staff members were very warm and made us feel like home and a stay that I will not forget. Thank you Team Hyatt.

A very well maintained property with a very nice breakfast buffet and three restaurants one of which I visited that serves superb Chinese food. My room was very comfortable and sparkling clean with all the luxury bells and whistles. The management and staff at the hotel are superb, and service is at a very high level...the swimming pool was undergoing maintenance, and when I expressed my disappointment, Sagar at the front desk called the other Hyatt in town and arranged for me to use the pool there, and to use the hotel car to take me back and forth whenever I needed at no cost.

The lobby is small with a limited lounge area, they do not serve any alcohol in the hotel, there is little outdoor landscaping or comfortable garden seating as at most other five-star hotels, breakfast was a bit chaotic as staff seemed unable to keep up with the crowds, and the immediate neighborhood around the hotel is not appealing although it isn’t far from the historic sights and markets on the other side of the river.

The hotel was beautiful. In a central location .The staff were exceptional. The facilities and accommodation were all excellent clean and beautiful We must point out AYUSH in the restaurant. He was always helpful at all times and served excellent lavazza fresh coffee. He has a bright future ahead of him. Also the head chef and the live kitchen and restaurant team were you are able to order a great variety of dishes all professionally made presented and delicious.In fact all the meals were delicious. The hotel catered for all guests needs The service from all the staff from the gate porter, taxi pick up reception right the way to room service and restaurant was exceptional and prompt. We returned on our journey back on the 14 February to the 16th and were blown away with the attention to detail and arrangements from the decor to the food music on Valentine’s Day.It was truly magnificent.The chef and all the team deserve around of applause and mention. The one criticism is that we had to pay for 2 nights when we landed on the 11th February. We checked in at 04.00am on the 11th and checked out 08.00am on the 12th We had breakfast & dinner on the 11th and breakfast on the 12th We feel that we over paid for our short stay and had hoped for a discount as we were not there for the 2 whole nights.We spent over £1000 over the duration we stayed so we would appreciate a small refund as a gesture of goodwill. Please confirm.

The riverfront location and the views from the river facing rooms. One can walk to the boating arenas, cycling tracks and several parks on the Sabarmati riverfront. Access to the lounge for evening snacks..excellent for tired sightseers. Excellent breakfast Spread. Very polite , courteous and efficient staff at fron desk and in restaurant. Beds were comfortable and room was well maintained Travel arrangements for airport pickup and drop was very smooth.

Phones and television in rooms need to be upgraded. Menu in restaurants can be more local to the region. Need to have a dedicated travel desk for sight seeing guidance and coordinating group tours if needed.

Hotel, room, staff, spa, salon, breakfast, were all absolutely amazing. This is definitely our go to hotel in Ahmedabad. Staff were so caring and attentive. Property, rooms, spa, salon are all clean. Breakfast options were amazing and catered for our Swaminarayan dietary requirements. We were always greeted in such a nice way at the entrance when entering and exited. We loved this hotel and all the staff.
