Hotel Unicornis

The hotel is modern and focused on "wellness." The reception staff was professional and responsive. The facilities were clean and well-mmaintained. The room came equiped with a small desk and fridge. The breakfast was good. The location is very convenient (200 meters) from Eger Castle. Out the door, turn left, and there is is. I'd like to mention specifically the friendliness of "Orci" of the breakfast staff. She took the time to answer questions I had about the vintage photographs in the breakfast room, explaining that the hotel was built after the War on the site of the former synagogue. She was very outgoing with a good smile. I would stay here again.

The room was pretty small and "felt smaller" because of the slanted roof. I had to watch my head. In addition, the light bulb in the desk lamp had burned out. I had to go downstairs myself to get it replaced. The reception staff were very prompt in getting it fixed. As a result I wasn't particularly dissatisfied. But working light bulbs are something that should be checked by the cleaning staff.

Thank you! We had initially booked with another accomodation but due to unruly, drunk and aggressive guests, we had to leave in the middle of the night. Luckily, I came across this hotel on Booking.com and it had 24 hour reception so it saved our trip in Eger. We were so appreciative upon our arrival at midnight and the receptionist and warm and understanding. We had a very comfortable two nights at this hotel. The room was clean and quiet and the location was perfect. We also very much appreciated the inclusive breakfast.

Make sure you show up early for the breakfast. They don't always replenish certain foods when they run out. I'd recommend arriving at around 8am.

The property is very well-maintained and it has a wellness center with a super Jacuzzi and shower. You may not find hardly any place else in the world.

I had a single room at a very good price which was just opened up but unfortunately they haven’t yet installed the air conditioner. I’ll be back next year when the air conditioners installed.

The room was equipped with everything that one can need. The place was clean.

There was the outdoor unit of the air conditioner in front of the sole window of the door. The bath area was too small for an adult to enjoy the bath.

I liked the professionalism and friendliness of the staff and I liked the location of the hotel in the city, close to the castle and the city center ad well. Even the city park is close by, the cathedral is perhaps a 10-minute walk.

It's an older building, some of the bathroom tiles are chipped and some of the furniture show signs of ware. I consider this to be a minor imperfection in the larger scheme of things.

A lot of filling paper documents.It was late and I was very tired to fill in information about my home adress and mother’s name(no idea for what porpoise) Maybe it’s just for me but I don’t like it

I enjoyed the view of Eger Castle from the bedroom. Staffs were friendly. Buffet breakfast was fine.

Shower was not that great, water pressure was weak.

Great value for price, especially with breakfast included! The beds were super comfortable. They only supplied soap, not shampoo/conditioner/lotion for the shower, but that’s my only small complaint!
