Ibis Budapest City

Honestly, for the price we paid, the room was big enough with a second bed prepared for our daughter which we didnt even request btw, so thats a welcome surprise. There were enough choices for breakfast and two very nice and funtional coffee maschines. The breakfast menu would change ever so slightly from day to day, so good for those who are staying for a few days. The location was perfect for us, kind of Central to both sides of Budapest. Getting to all attractions is a very quick drive either a car or puplic transport, but with the very big sidewalks and beutiful architecture, we opted to walk for the ultimate experience. Just outside the hotel and around the area you can find limitless amounts of supermarkets, drugstores, restaurants, street food, bars, Burger King, McDonalds, etc. Parking was affordable and very secure with easy access to the reception. The entry to the underground garage is a bit tight, but once you enter, the parking bays are big enough.

I would have liked a nicer bigger equipped TV for those evening chill sessions. Maybe some nice Streaming services, but thats me. Im spoiled :-D

The hotel was very well located on a main road, with easy access to the local public transport and many of the major sight-seeing spots. The room was a very comfortable size for a single traveller, and was kept very clean throughout my entire stay. The buffet breakfast had a nice variety of options and was well stocked each morning. Staff were very friendly, making the check-in & out process very simple.

The windows/double-glazing didn't keep as much sound out as I would've liked, so I was able to hear the traffic outside due to how close to the road the hotel was. The room walls seemed somewhat thin also, and I could hear the TV of the room next door.

Staff were very friendly. We arrived a little for check-in and they offered to store our bag so we could explore the city while waiting for the room. The room was clean and comfy. The check-out was seamlessly, we left the card keys before but since our fight was only at night we could leave our bags in the hotel storage room for the day.

The room was too warm. The temperature was set to 27ºC, we tried to low it to 24ºC but the thermostat didn't seen to do any difference as the temperature kept it rising.

the hotel was just fine it had everything you could expect to find really with all key features covered like clean spacious room,modern style washroom,elevator,bar,restaurant,baggage hold at front of house for checking out ,in fact we thought it was really quite pleasant indeed and the staff were helpful and polite

The pillows on the beds were low quality and did not aid your sleep unfortunately and in my first night I found the noise levels in the night a little bit higher than expected especially from outside however as I went through my trip it became less noticeable as I was needing the sleep more from a lot of walking around Budapest!

Very polite staff and easy access to anything you might need in the facilities. Parking was available for guests in a private garage so no need to bump your head on the wall if something is going to happen to the car in a foregin city you don't know. Location was in the centre of the city easy to get aroind. Rooms and bathroom clean and spacious enough.

Would appreciate the breakfast options to be wider, had no use of the hair drier in the room. Not practical

first of all, Budapest is a wonderful city to visit. secondly, the hotel is so affordable based on the facilities they provide. I strongly recommend specifically for students and people who have a limited budget to travel. The breakfast appeared beyond our expectations. The room cleanness is so good. And the behavior of staff are so nice and friendly. All in all, I strongly recommend Budapest and this hotel for stay.

The room didn't have a fridge. So, our drinks we bought from supermarkets got warm.

Location was perfect and we could find many places around there. The room was very clean and every day the cleaners were there. Breakfast was also perfect and many choises. Reception staff always helpfull and they explained everything to us. All staff just perfect and the hotel very very good. JUST EXCELLENT. BRAVO TO ALL OF YOU.

Room was very clean, lovely bathroom, breakfast was good, but ran out of hot food the only day we came later. 9 ish. Staff were polite and efficient. Location very close to underground rail system, so easy to reach attractions.

Would have loved a kettle to make tea! That’s about all I can think of, everything else was as expected of a three star hotel.

Location is great if you want to avoid tourist traps. Local street with food of all types and prices and bars. Close to Metro, Tram, and Bus stops. In zone for Escooters. Close to Pharmacy, Lidl, Bank. I loved the area. Staff were super nice. Breakfast was very good although the variety wasnt huge i enjoyed all 4 days. Clean rooms. Pillows are a bit of a problem . Mattress really good. I would definitely go back there to stay for the right price.

Pillows could have been better. Shower door was not sealed - Towels were provided by the staff solve the issue.

The location is fine. Breakfast is not very suitable for Turks. In general, all of the Central European countries are like this. (Vienna, Prague). A clean and adequate hotel. Pretty good for the price. Room size is sufficient. We stayed 2 adults and 1 child.

What I don't like is the breakfast. Because it is not very suitable for Turks. But the waffle maker plus points
