A for Art Hotel

Breakfast offerings were varied and generally excellent. The garden in which one can have a drink was pleasant (but see below). The bed was comfortable although we struggled to get comfortable with the bedding, which was too hot for the late Spring.

The hotel is artfully decorated, but the result is impractical for travelers: bathroom folding doors that fold outward into a narrow entryway, little flat surface space, almost no space at all on night tables, a desk but no chair to go with it, and so on. Too much stuff everywhere in the room but no space for the visitor. Our rooms faced the garden, where one can have a drink--and it was VERY noisy late at night from other guests in the garden who were enjoying themselves very loudly. The pool closed at 18:00--too early in the late Spring. The staff were not wearing facemasks consistently or correctly, although face masks were (justifiably) required for guests.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is perfect. If you're sensitive about parking, you can reserve your parking spot before you arrive, but it's possible to find a parking spot within a 3-4 minute walk. The standards of the rooms are adequate. It's the first hotel we haven't had a problem with the air conditioning for a long time. It cools the room down very nicely without blowing directly on you. The only drawback is the lack of a balcony, as drying beach towels can be a problem. Breakfast is extremely sufficient both in terms of quality and quantity. The taste of everything was very good. We also really liked their cocktails.

It would be better if the rooms had balcony. Other than that everything was beutiful.

First of all, the hotel is located in the most central location and on the most pleasant street of the island. Hotel staff are very caring and hospitable. Every day cleaning and breakfast are another reason for your happy stay.

The location was fantastic, the breakfast and service was exceptional and the staff went above and beyond our expectations… even insisting we take a breakfast bag with us when we were departing on a very early morning ferry.

Amazing hotel with beautiful garden, exceptionally nice staff and really tasty food. My husband had a birthday so they surprised us with a room upgrade and a birthday card with sweets waiting for us. The whole atmosphere is very relaxed and our stay was more than great.

nothing in particular

The hotel is an oases in the middle of a very crowded city center. It has a beautiful design and the garden/ terrace is very well organized and nicely decorated. The staff is amazing - always smiling and willing to help. The food was delicious - great breakfast, although repetitive, and very good cappuccino. The room was pretty small (but we already knew that when we reserved it). Still - it was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. There was some noise from outside, being at the lower floor, but, again, we expected that since we were in the city center. Every evening there was a different event organized in the garden - artists singing international or Greek songs with amazing voices - just the perfect things to complete our experience is Thasos.

Breakfast was excellent. Hotel is in the center of every place :) I really liked the place of the Hotel. We had no issue for parking lot there are so many place to park your car. Staff is so helpful so smiling and so kind.

The only thing is hotel room does not have any place (like balcony) to dry your beachwear or wet clothes. Which can be very important for summer time.

Absolutely perfect! The whole hotel has its own character, it’s super charming! Room was perfectly clean, maintained daily, the location of the hotel cannot be better - right in the center. Never seen more welcoming and smiling staff - truly thankful to everyone that made our stay awesome. Another thing that surprised me pleasantly was the food - it’s on another level. Enjoyed everything from the breakfast, through brunch all the way to the cocktails.

The location of the hotel is right in the city centre,very close to the beach and easy to get from it to any part of the island.The food and the staff were the strong assets that the hotel provides.They have amazing service ,are very friendly and caring.The live shows they have every night almost are very nice and you can enjoy your dinner while listening to good live music. We had an amazing stay and we will return for sure.
