Mitsis Faliraki

We had a great holiday, the communication from the hotel prior to arriving was fantastic, helping with transport from the airport and booking restaurants for lunch and dinner (which we would recommend to do in advance). The staff are exceptional, all very helpful and friendly and work very hard. There are multiple restaurants, the main restaurant does not require booking, the food is variable and themed per night, the desserts are wow! There are 5 restaurants ( greek, Italian, mexican, Asian and burgers/pitas) which need booking in advance and the food here is gourmet and fantastic. The beach and the pools are great, plenty of sunbeds, even with people blocking sunbeds early mornings there is still plenty of space around the pool and the beach. There are a couple of slides for kids in the kids pool area. Facilities around the pool including bar, creperie, fruit salad and ice cream are lovely. No waiting for drinks at the bar :) the cocktails were amazing!! There is an open gym with daily programs for fitness guided by trainers..from yoga, to HIIT to CrossFit or just do your own exercise...fantastic team!!! The rooms are very good, well equipped with a full fridge, coffee machine etc. The rooms are slightly outdated but did not impact us as we mostly spent time using facilities.

Having to leave !! The rooms are slightly outdated and need some refurbishing, but as we spent little time in the rooms, it didn't really impact us at all. The food in the main restaurant can be bland but that is to be expected in a buffet, still plenty of food with good quality.

I recall reading one of the reviews here which I was initially sceptical of - "better than advertised". Now after my stay, I can confirm it. I am a frequent traveller, but the hotel was amazing, seriously. We have actually relocated from another (twice more expensive) 5-star to Mitsis, and regretted we did not do it earlier. Our room was upgraded, our child was given a cute present and they checked us in already at 12. The stuff is very, very sweet: at the reception, bars, restaurants, the photographer, the guy who was refilling our mini bar, literally, everyone! The beach, the area around are nice and clean. Even though we had neighbours from both sides and above us, we did not hear anyone, including kids. An entertainment program was fun (even though we went almost at the end of the season), the quality of drinks and food was incredible. We will definitely be returning!

We could not access spa (I wanted to use sauna, but apparently there was no option to access it even if you were willing to pay, only if you sign up for a treatment. However, it was booked days ahead (like four days) and I simply did not have time to sign up for it). That was upsetting as in October you definitely want to spend an evening at spa.

The great place for holiday! LOCATION: It'a great location not far from Airport and Rhodes Old town. Also you can walk to the Faliraki bars and shops just in few minutes. Also we found some nice hike trails around the hotel. HOTEL: Everything is stylish, cozy and good quality. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Entertainment was also nice and not disturbing. We liked the kids club, because it was stylish and fun for our kids, no stupid songs, games or other annoying things. FOOD: Food was good, but a bit repetitive in the main restaurant. But almost every evening we were enjoying different a la carte restaurants. The bar was awesome we enjoyed tasty cocktails in the evenings. Also evening entertainment shows was stylish and nice.

It was all great! Never felt more welcome in any hotel before. At arrival a warm welcome, friendly staff everywhere... clean room, good food, great service. Attentive staff was smiling all day... what can you wish more when you're on a short holiday break. Certainly enough reasons for a great review en for sure we will go back there.

That we were only there for 4 days ;-) Reservation for a la carte restaurants was full. It would be nice when you would be granted to book at least one time for a restaurant during your stay. But well.. that's the only thing I can mention..

Beautiful hotel in a nice location, having own beach. The all inclusive concept is so convenient when you travel with kids. The food was very fresh and varied to meet all the tastes, including our 1, 5 year's old baby. Family orientated hotel, they provide us with bottles steriliser in the room and potty, which we have found very useful. We have enjoyed our stay here, especially a la carte restaurants every evening, where the service was excellent. Looking forward to go back!

Great hotel, nice lobby and over all very good. We had our own pool witch was sooo great and relaxing. We only stayed 3 nights so we didnt have the chance to try all the restaurants in the hotel, we tried asian, pita corner and the greek. The pita-burger was our favorite. We only had breakfast and one lunch in the main restaurant and the buffet was nice. The staff is great too. Also the drinks are very good, the best we tried in a all inclusive hotel for sure.

We stayed at the Mitsis Faliraki for our honeymoon. We had an amazing time but it was made extra special by one person and that was Stergos! He went above and beyond to ensure we had an excellent stay. Anything we needed / wanted he was there to help and made it happen straight away. We can’t thank him enough for making our honeymoon so perfect. What a great guy!

The room was very nice! Ample in size, with suitable furniture, comfy bed, and nice pillows, that were not saggy, like so many other places! I also like the light-blocking curtain, very much. Our whole group (10 in all) very much enjoyed the special/themed restaurants. I also enjoyed both my room's outdoor pool, and resort's outdoor gym, during one of the days of my stay.

Although I know it's the custom in the area, I don't like the half-wall shower door. I had to be very conscious of how I blocked the stream of water from the shower, to prevent spillage onto the floor. The very first night, I arrived late and the main dining area was relatively empty. And the food really didn't impress me at all! (at least not the entrees) But then, the other days that we tried this restaurant--when it was more crowded--I found the food to be fine.

The standard room is quite small for 3 people. There is no snack food in the pool area, just fruits and sweets. The toddler pool has no shade. The food in the buffet is not so good.
