Breakfast was actually provided in a small café across the street. I feel like the hotel was very unique and in its own category of classy, more contemporary than it is Greek . The location was great. It’s very easy to get a taxi from this location so a car is not really needed if you only have a few days in Athens and you want to explore the city this is perfect. The staff was exceptional and they live up to their reputation of super fun!

I did not have a problem but I do not think my room is suitable for people who are handicapped. I loved the roof access and view but there is no direct elevator to the roof one must maneuver stairs.

The hotel gave a complete and amazing experience, which makes you want to return to Athens just for the hotel! The location in the center is excellent and close to everything - restaurants, metro station and tourist sites. The room is large, spacious, wonderfully decorated, clean. The reception staff is always nice and always helpful. The cafe that offers a wonderful breakfast. Just a pleasure, waiting to return to Athens just to return to the Melo Hotel!

The pillows were a little too hard, but the bed was still comfortable and that is also so marginal in relation to the rest of what the hotel provides, so really- no complaints

The hotel is so cute, the room is specious clean, very nice design, you can get breakfast in the coffee places around the psiri square. The location is right near the square. You step out, and you are near everything. Just start walking. The reception team was super helpful, got us rides ti and from the airport, and because we had to leave very early, she booked us a breakfast box to the room. We LOVED to stay here.

We were on the first floor, and we could hear the sounds from the street very well.

We stayed at this hotel for three nights as our first stop in Greece before heading to the islands. We came in from Rome after a very busy week of sightseeing, and Martha welcomed us like we were her family. She was truly the best part of this hotel experience. She made sure we had each day planned out to fit everything in that we wanted to do and still have down time. She recommended two local favorite restaurants for dinner our first night, and we ended up having the most amazing meal with live music at Tavern Klimateria. Highly recommend! The room was superb. We had an incredible view of Athens from our huge balcony, and there is a rooftop with an even better view and seating. We enjoyed both each day. Breakfast was included with the room rate, but we didn’t get to experience that unfortunately. We had early tours each day. But it looked lovely - it was in a little bistro across the street from the hotel. Thank you to Martha and the MELO Athens team for such a wonderful stay!

Location 10\10 - Really convenient and close to all tourist areas Breakfast at the nearby café 10\10 - The one at the plaza and not the one across the road which wasn't good! Staff at reception 10\10 - Super friendly and helpful! Room 10\10 - Spacious and pretty Price 10\10 - Great value for money

The locations is perfect if you do not mind noise outside especially late at night. The place is close to a lot of very good restaurants and all necessary destinations, airport train is only 3 minutes away. The breakfast served at nearby cafe is quite above general expected and provides you quite a number of nice choices

As hotel has nice balconies - it would be nice to have dressing gown to sit outside with the wine, I do not believe it would increase the cost too much, but that could bring maximum satisfaction

Easy walking distance to great restaurants, cute shopping streets like Plaka, and the Acropolis areas. HopOn/HopOff stop with salesreps was easy close as well. Would strongly recommend. Front staff VERY helpful and accommodating. The room was boutique and quite hip with a really long couch/sitting area. Refrigerator & safe. 2 person spa/hot tub. Great roof top terrace with superb views of the Parthenon, bring your own drinks.

The room we had had a built-in in hot tub spa. This was a real treat! However, the raised floor surrounding the tub is very slippery when it gets wet. You have to walk down 3 or 4 (slippery) steps to use the bathroom to shower & change. No rails to grab. Would strongly recommend an anti-slip coating. Couldn't find the light switch for the coffee bar at first. It was located at the foot of the bed wall, which is about 8 inches above the now raised floor. It probably was at normal height before raising the floor to install the recessed spa. The draping bedding initially covered it from view.

The location and room were perfect. Balcony was excellent. Staff were very friendly and gave useful recommendations. Easy check-in/out process and decent breakfast. Would highly recommend!!

Everything was great. However, I would recommend having early breakfast as the waiting time can be long when it gets busier from around 9am. The hotel is on a busy street and it gets noisy in the evening, but this was to be expected.

Staff was excellent, friendly and very helpful. Helped me retrieve my tablet which I accidentally left on the plane. (thank you so much!) Hotel is beautiful en well maintained. Room was beautiful, spacious and very clean. We were on the fifth floor. we did not hear any noise. very good location, we think the best area to be in Athens, with many restaurants around the corner. breakfast was great, 7 different choices( classic, greek, veg, pancakes, yogurt with muesli) with freshly squeezed orange juice. and a very good cappuccino. The good thing is that you enjoy your breakfast outside in the shade on the terrace of a restaurant in one of the best places of Athens

The location was really nice, personnel very friendly, food for breakfast was amazing, the spa was absolutely perfect, it was good that we had air conditioner and TV in the room. I had a really good time during the stay.

The sheets were a bit dirty with something brown (it seemed like dry blood). It wasn't big. Maybe the size of a pea, but usually you should not see these kind of stuff in a four stars hotel.
