Best Western Premier Accra Airport Hotel

The staff really make this hotel, Dede, Dzidzo, Meshack, I forget the names of some of them, all lovely and go the extra mile for guests! The accommodation was nice and serene, and the conferencing services were more than adequate. All together a lovely experience- and very convenient for airport access!

The breakfast was good. The environment was good and clean. The reception staff were friendly. They had great local food and variety of local dishes

The lobby around the reception area is too warm. The response time from the Zara restaurant is not good, too much delay in attending to room service issues. I was given a room on the second floor which had storage rooms for house keepers close by. The house keepers made too much noice chatting with each other other talking loudly and knocking their working tools around even late at night.

Non disclosure of the fact that the airport shuttle was not free and the fact that money was deducted from my account without notification . This is fraudulent as the hotel capitalised on fact that they have access to my account.

Location was great. I didn't make use of the restaurant though because it was a very short stay. Rooms and the environment very clean

The bathroom and the shower was not great. Hot water facility wasn't available the next morning I was getting ready to leave for the airport

The Breakfast was great everyday. The location was superb, safe, convenient.

The translation of my American English could have been a bit better. Lol

Staff were extremely polite and accomodating.

The fact that the swimming pool was out of service for the whole duration of my stay (one week). Apparently this was due to 'maintenance'. We kept being told it would be ready 'the next day' but this never came to be. Also, there is a musty smell in the corridors. After a few days your nose gets used to it though... (maybe the carpets need to be cleaned).

The staff were very courteous and the bed was very comfortable, slept like a baby each night.

However night we arrived, the waste bin had not been emptied and the bathroom shower not working properly and had blackwood between the tiles . Also swimming pool not open throughout my stay despite assurances would re-open within a few days

The hotel is located in a very quiet neighborhood. Easy to get in and out to the different parts of the City. The staff is excellent and do whatever is needed to make the guest as comfortable and welcome as possible. I will be traveling to Accra and will make to secure my reservation in that hotel for an encore stay.

Water pressure in the bathroom and the Internet connectivity. But the rest of the setup offsets these minor inconveniences

Breakfast was not bad, although it is lacking variety - i.e. no yoghurt available, and only two cereals to choose from

The showers!!!! Overhead shower is non functioning!! Only the hand held shower. Being a tall person(1.91m) it is very difficult to shower like this and water continuously falls on the floor. Drainage hole on bathroom floor is either choked or other as water dammed up.

The breakfast was very good, comfortable rooms and nice drop off when going to the Airport.
